I’ve been a shelter volunteer for 5 years, working closely with the dogs most people struggle with the reactive ones, the jumpy ones, the bitey ones, the over-stimulated ones, and the dogs that need real structure and patience to thrive I’m used to reading body language fast and staying calm no matter what’s in front of me. Whether it’s leash pulling, overexcitement, reactivity, or lack of focus. Schedule
Pet care is already a major part of my daily and weekly routine. I have 8 birds at home and On top of that, I volunteer at an animal shelter 2–4 days a week, where I work hands on with a wide range of dogs especially high energy dogs and dogs that need extra structure and patience. That experience keeps me consistently involved in reading behavior, handling different temperaments, and staying calm in all situations. When I’m not at the shelter, I plan my schedule around Rover bookings like walks, drop-ins, and training. I make sure each visit has enough time and attention
