Pet care experience

Walks, Training & Structured care!

I’ve been a shelter volunteer for 5 years, working closely with the dogs most people struggle with the reactive ones, the jumpy ones, the bitey ones, the over-stimulated ones, and the dogs that need real structure and patience to thrive I’m used to reading body language fast and staying calm no matter what’s in front of me. Whether it’s leash pulling, overexcitement, reactivity, or lack of focus. Maybe your dog just needs more work on learning commands and learning obedience I can do that to! let me know what I can do to best help you and your dog I would love to help

Madalyn does a great job! She's always on time, communicates very well, and my dog absolutely loves her!!! She also has done a great job helping to improve my dogs walking manners. I highly recommend her!

Madalyn is the best!! She walks my two dogs and they love her! I’m typically very nervous for others to walk then but feel so comfortable with her doing it! Highly recommend :)

Schedule

Pet care is already a major part of my daily and weekly routine. I have 8 birds at home and On top of that, I volunteer at an animal shelter 2–4 days a week, where I work hands on with a wide range of dogs especially high energy dogs and dogs that need extra structure and patience. That experience keeps me consistently involved in reading behavior, handling different temperaments, and staying calm in all situations. When I’m not at the shelter, I plan my schedule around Rover bookings like walks, drop-ins, and training. I make sure each visit has enough time and attention

The most important thing for me to know ahead of time is anything about your pet’s behavior, routine, and comfort needs. That includes things like if they’re reactive, nervous, high-energy, or have any triggers I should be aware of (other dogs, people, leash issues, etc. also any commands or training cues you already use so I can stay consistent with what they know and if your pet has any medical needs, allergies
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
