“We hired Cindy to walk our pup while we were on vacation. I was a little worried because we have an anxious pup who can be easily overwhelmed and slow to warm up to people. Cindy was great with him! By 2 days in he was so excited for his walks he was waiting for her at the door when she arrived. She gave him the time he needed to stop and sniff which helps him decompress. Since he is part lab she really tapped into those personality traits by walking him near water and places where he could see, smell and hunt around for small animals. She was punctual and sent pictures as well as a map of his walks everyday. I will definitely hire her again!”

About: I grew up with multiple dogs as a child and am surrounded by friends with dogs! I travel for work so unfortunately I cannot take care of a dog at home. I have a lot of patience so I can handle the chaos of puppies! I work from home so it's easy to pop out for a walk throughout the day! I work full time M-F and travel a handful of times throughout the year! I work flexibly so as long as I do not have a scheduled meeting I can step out throughout the day for a check-in or walk. I have one cat at home and he is treated like he's the king of the house! He has a cat tree to watch the neighborhood wildlife through the window and get's treats for being brave after getting his daily medicine.

About: From the time I was a young I have loved animals, small to large. I have had experience with caring for Guinea pigs while I was young and my journey with dogs began then as well. I have cared for many of my own dogs from dachshunds to German Shepherds Dogs all my life. I have bred and shown dachshunds and have enjoyed having dogs all my types in my life. In addition I have had a couple of Angora Rabbits, gerbils, several chinchillas and birds. Right now I have two dogs that fill my life with happiness. I have dog sat for several of my friends dogs while they were away for as long as four months. In addition to dogs I have cared for my grandcats when my son has gone on vacation and lived with another grandcat for a while. I have a lot of experience giving medications, even shots, to my pets and have had a lot of experience with senior dogs. My years of experience will allow me to give your pet the care they need and deserve. I am retired and have extra time for morning to afternoon to evening visits. I will work with the time schedule your pets need to be comfortable while you are gone. Your pets comfort is my main goal. Visits with walks, feeding, treats, play and poo disposal to keep your pet comfortable and engaged while you are away. Visits for your cats on a schedule you prefer with play, feeding and cat box cleaning. Small animals and birds will also be cared for as well as you require.

I run a tight schedule with my dog to keep him healthy, happy, and worn out. I would do just the same for yours. I will let your dog out as many times as needed and keep them on a schedule you prefer. I will never leave your dog unattended. About: I grew up with dogs (3 Samoyed dogs). It was my responsibility to feed, walk and brush them. This began my love for animals. When I left for college, I moved to hamsters as this was the only pet my apartment would allow. I eventually settled down with a family and took in cats. One day, a beagle wandered into my backyard and we soon became a dog family again. My children were young, and I taught them how to care for a dog, specifically a curious Beagle! Over the years, I've learned not to fear any kind of pet. I fell my calm, gentle nature helps animals to warm up to me. I've always had cats as they were easier to manage with a busy work schedule. I have many friends with dogs and have learned to embrace all their personalities over the years. I'm now retired with a senior cat and kitten in my home. My bucket list item when I retired was to walk dogs. Looking to get my dog loving time in and meet my daily step goal. Having cats, I would also love to care for them as well. Based on "no fear" over the years and my love for the dedication of a dog, I'm a good fit for any dog personality. I have the patience and calmness that most dogs will respond to. I'm currently retired and looking for a part time job to satisfy my love for dogs and supplement my income. I've found that the hours of 11a - 3p or 3p - 8p Mon-Fri is a good fit for my schedule although I'm willing to work with the dog owner in a time of need. I do keep busy in retirement and would request a min 24 hr notice. I would like to care for pets in my clients home. I'll drive to your house and have valid transportation. Once at the clients home, I'll dedicate the agreed upon time to your pet and it's care.
