About: I am recently widowed and life feels pretty lonely. I currently cannot afford to have a dog of my own but I adore them and all animals and I would love to give my time to your fur babies while your away. I have been pet and house sitting for over 22 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. I'd love to do the same for your fur baby.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life — from puppies to senior dogs who just want a cozy spot and a slow walk. Every dog is different, and I take the time to learn their personality, quirks, and routine so they feel comfortable and cared for the whole time we're together. I am currently working from home and get to make my own schedule, so I can tailor it to your pet sitting needs! If you need a specific time a few days a week I am happy to accommodate! Drop-In Visits: When I come for a drop-in visit, I stick to your pet's normal routine as closely as possible. That means feeding on schedule, fresh water, litter box or potty breaks, and playtime or cuddles depending on what your pet enjoys. I always do a walkthrough to make sure everything's secure before I leave, and I'm happy to send photo or text updates so you know your pet is happy and taken care of. Dog Walking: For walks, I focus on making sure your dog gets safe, enjoyable exercise at a pace that suits them. I pay close attention to leash manners, weather conditions, and any specific instructions you give me (routes to avoid, reactivity to other dogs, etc.). I always bring water and waste bags, and I make sure your dog is safely back inside with fresh water before I head out. In both cases, I treat your home and your pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own — respecting your space, following your instructions closely, and prioritizing your pet's comfort and safety above all else.

About: I have been around dogs and pets since I was very young. We had a family dog I helped take care of and all three of my siblings have had either a dog or cat that I would pet sit. My roommate also currently owns a puppy that I help out with as well. I am currently a full time student at GVSU and I have a part time job but it is very flexible. I can always make scheduling work as long as we communicate! I do not board other dogs very often unless it is dire. But trust and safely will depend on where you live and what you and your pet are comfortable with.

I used to volunteer at the humane society, and I was trained to work with cats and dogs, I have over 100 hours of volunteering at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I am new to Rover, but I’ve pet sat outside of this app before! I am currently working part-time, my schedule changes from day to day but for the most part I am available 7 days a week and can check in up to 3 times a day with your animal! I will prioritize each pets safety, comfort and routine every visit. I will also ensure that I follow all instructions required by owners and am also happy to communicate updates/photos so they feel confident in their pets wellbeing. About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.
