About: I am recently widowed and life feels pretty lonely. I currently cannot afford to have a dog of my own but I adore them and all animals and I would love to give my time to your fur babies while your away. I have been pet and house sitting for over 22 years. I used to work at a pet store and I have a lot of experience with dogs and animals of all sizes and needs. I use a loving but firm and peaceful approach with training. My German Shepherd named Ravin was my amazing companion for 13 years and I enjoyed going on adventures to find sticks, playing ball, tug of war and just snuggling and getting love. About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.
