About: Over the past several years, my love and admiration for cats has grown tremendously. I was visiting shelters, cat sitting for friends, and eventually I fell in love with my own tiny lion and he has become my world. I pride myself on adapting to whatever a cat may need. Am I the just the poop cleaner and food giver or am I a new friend to play with, get scratches from, and snuggle? Whatever it may be, I hope to be able to love all the kitties (even if it is from a distance.)

A couple cat-care specific highlights: 1) Hannah was very good with my senior cat (Louie, almost 13 y/o) and 2) her flexible work-from-home schedule meant she could stay with Louie just about all day while I was out of town, which was particularly valuable for a mostly remote worker like me whose pet is not used to being alone 8-9 hours a day. A few more general highlights: Hannah is an extremely responsive communicator, she managed a very precise feeding/medication schedule, and she's just generally a friendly person to both cats and people. About: I have been taking care of and loving cats since I was 10 when my family got our cat Stella. After that, I started volunteering at a shelter helping socialize the cats as well as learning about medication administration and medical issues that it is common for kitties to struggle with. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! They both love taking walks in the park and riding in the car. My other dogs previous to these were 15 years old plus. I love dogs and dogs seem to love me too. I have a fenced in back yard and a large house. Our babies normally have run of the entire house. I would love to work in the Humane Society although, I would want to take them all home with me. It also saddens me to see commercials with the neglected animals and the conditions that they are subjected to. I wish that I could save all of the dogs that are neglected. I have taken care of dogs since I was thirteen years old. I have also taken care of friends dogs when they are gone on vacation. About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.

I'd been having significant behavioral problems with the pup and Kayden did very well with her and offered me guidance to help get the problems under control at home. Kayden was very responsive to my questions while I was out of town and sent photos as well. Kayden was extremely well organized in managing my dog's meet 'n greet and all the elements of her six day stay. I'd been worried about leaving a very young, not fully house-broken dog but she clearly had a great time. I'm not sure she wanted to return home! Kayden went above and beyond all my expectations.”
