“Kaylee is great, my anxious little dog warmed up pretty quick and was always happy to see her, as was kitty. She communicates well also. Thanks for taking care of her Kaylee! I will 100% book with you again.”

About: I have years of personal experience with numerous breeds of dogs that I have owned. Your fur family member will be in great hands! I also have sat many breeds large and same and have many references. My home is a nice quiet place for senior dogs and dogs with anxiety. I don't have any of my own personal pets and there aren't any small children. I only dog sit for one family at a time so your pet can get his or her own individual care. I also allow pets on furniture and in my bed at night. Each pet gets walked daily along with alot of play time to get rid of all the pent up energy. Lots of love and cuddles also!

About: I’ve grown up with cats and dogs in my home and I just love animals! I used to volunteer at the humane society, and I was trained to work with cats and dogs, I have over 100 hours of volunteering at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I am new to Rover, but I’ve pet sat outside of this app before! I am currently working part-time, my schedule changes from day to day but for the most part I am available 7 days a week and can check in up to 3 times a day with your animal! I will prioritize each pets safety, comfort and routine every visit. I will also ensure that I follow all instructions required by owners and am also happy to communicate updates/photos so they feel confident in their pets wellbeing. Overall, I want the animal and the owner to feel as comfortable as possible when working with me!
About: I have experience with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and birds. I love all animals, young and old. I’m looking forward to taking care of your fur baby!! I work 2 part time/student assistant jobs so I have plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I am always willing to schedule and plan ahead as well. I have one cat at home, but that’s it. I am not afraid to work with dogs that are excited or jumpy and I can take them in and out of their crates!
“Maria was absolutely fantastic! She took care of our two kitties (one diabetic and needing insulin twice a day and the other chronically terrified of strangers). She was in touch regarding clarification on the medicine - which was very much appreciated - and gave us updates throughout her visits including that our little scared cat actually accepted pets from her on the last day (we were shocked and thrilled!). We look forward to using Maria's services again in the future.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 15 years and have experience with dogs, cats, parrots, reptiles, chickens, amphibians, and small mammals. I’ve owned pets continuously since childhood, from Golden Retrievers and a Border Collie to cockatiels that I’ve cared for into their senior years. I currently have three rescue cockatiels and understand the patience, consistency, and attention to detail that pets need. Friends, family, and neighbors have also trusted me to care for their pets while they’re away. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for throughout my week. I work part-time, which allows me to accept drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting that fit my schedule. I’m committed to following your pet’s routine as closely as possible and will communicate clearly about my availability. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, or dependable daily care, I’ll make sure they receive the attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I know every pet has their own routine, so I’ll carefully follow your instructions for feeding, medications, exercise, and any special needs. During visits or house sitting, I’ll make sure your home is secure, your pets have fresh food and water, and they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection at a pace they’re comfortable with. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Alise was a the perfect person to watch over our little Leroy. We felt at ease knowing she was giving him the care and attention that he needed while we were gone. The photo updates and the ease of communication were very much appreciated. We are so grateful!”

“Christine was so pleasant and I knew right away I could trust her to be thorough and give great attention to my outdoor birds, squirrels and hummingbirds while we were away. Her desire to give excellent care to your pets is very evident and helped me relax while I was away knowing they were in great hands.”

About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! My pets are my babies and every animal I see automatically becomes a baby. I had a special needs German shepherd who was in a wheelchair and needed a ton of special care and attention. I’m not afraid to do the dirty work that pets need to thrive and be happy whether that’s my own pets or my clients. I’d treat them as my own.

“Sadey was fantastic! She did daily drop-ins to care for our two dogs, and they loved her. She went above and beyond in every way, and we couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend her!”

About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a former ICU nurse and current CRNA student with a flexible schedule and a genuine love for animals. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pets behind, so my goal is to make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including my own two cats, and I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, giving oral medications, and sticking to your pet’s normal routine. Whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding, or just keeping them company, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. As a healthcare professional, I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and always keep communication a priority. You’ll receive plenty of updates and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are in good hands. As a full-time graduate student, I plan my schedule carefully and only accept bookings that I know I can fully commit to. Whether it’s drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays, I’ll make sure your pet receives the time, attention, and care they deserve. I always prioritize clear communication and will keep you updated throughout each visit. I understand that inviting someone into your home requires trust, and I don’t take that lightly. I’ll always respect your home, carefully follow your pet’s routine and any special instructions, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is in good hands.

“Jay clearly adores the dogs and cats he cares for. My cat Gatto took right to him. He's a fabulous photographer - got loads of great shots of my kitty while I was away. His updates were fun and enthusiastic. You really can't do better. Thx Jay, for the peace of mind while on vacation.”

“Janie is absolutely amazing! She has been coming over 2-3 times a week for the past few months to let our puppy and older dog out for a potty and play break and she is wonderful. She is great with our dogs and when we see her out and about our dogs go crazy to see her. Her schedule has been so flexible with me getting a new job and needing her to come at different times of the day and she provides us updates on how our dogs are doing every time she comes over. We LOVE Janie!”

Feeding, cleaning cats, and socializing, playing with them. I work part time and will schedule visits around my work schedule.i will do my best to provide good quality care for your pets always. I feed, play with regularly, and scoop Claire’s litter box as needed. I give her treats and all my love daily. She is my world.
“Our kitties were so well taken care of. We recently moved to a new house that they were still getting used to and we went away for 5 days. Isabella spent time with them each day, even if it was sitting on the floor next to the couch they had crawled under to give them company. It seems they both warmed up a bit by the end of the week and we’re doing very well when we arrived home. We will absolutely request Isabella for kitty sitting needs in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
