About: Recently, my pets have passed do to old age, so I have a lot of free time to give animals all the attention they need. I've been pet sitting dogs, cats, birds, and chickens for the past 5 years. I am currently attending EMU, starting law school in the fall. I currently have one small dog. In past jobs, like child care I had to also walk, feed, and play with cats or dogs and now I want to go into it full time. I work full time at a law firm near downtown Ann Arbor. I have flexibility to do mid-day stops for animals if needed. My weekends I am fully available. I do have one small dog of my own. I prefer to do drop in home visits. If you need boarding I would need a doggie meet and greet for the pups.

About: Hi there! We accept small to medium-sized dogs (20 pounds max or less) and typically care for no more than 4 dogs at a time. Under our careful supervision, your pup can interact and play freely, enjoying both the house and our spacious, clean, secure and fenced-in backyard. They are not confined to kennels or cages, and can sleep wherever they feel comfortable, whether in the open or in their own crate. We have many nooks and crannies for the pups to relax in and many soft, clean blankets and pillows. They will have ample time outdoors for fresh air, exercise and fun (weather permitting), and the rest of course spent indoors, having fun, resting, playing games (we have many many puzzles and snuffle mats) and occasionally having a yummy, owner approved treat (we don't want upset tummies). They are regularly let out for potty breaks and fresh air every 1 to 2 hours, and never left unattended. About: I have had dogs since I was little, helped my parents walk, feed, bathe, clean up after them. I had my own dog for 12 years. My children also love dogs and love to help with them. About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.

I have flexibility to do mid-day stops for animals if needed. My weekends I am fully available. I do have one small dog of my own. I prefer to do drop in home visits. If you need boarding I would need a doggie meet and greet for the pups.

“Catherine has sat my dogs twice, each time for about a week. When we brought them back, they were super excited to see her! Catherine kept the dogs entertained with frequent walks to the park next door and plenty of play time. She paid careful attention to our instructions to reinforce our training. Catherine handled a kerfuffle between our dogs wonderfully, separating them as soon as it happened and attending to their needs right away. She communicated clearly throughout. I highly recommend her, especially if your dog can use some additional socialization!”
