I was nervous to leave him alone, especially since I'd never used Rover before, but she kept me posted, asked questions as they came up and gave my little one plenty of attention. I especially am nervous for new people to bring him outside, which he loves, but she kept a close eye on him, kept him on the balcony (a feat, as he's continuously trying to jump off) and he got fresh air and sunshine every day. Returned home from vacay to a very content cat who was nowhere near as clingy as he usually is when I return home from traveling, so he must've had a good time, haha! About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! About: I currently have a small dog with diabetes and need to give her insulin every 12 hours. Both of our babies have a health care plan with our veterinarian and all vaccinations are up to date. They both love taking walks in the park and riding in the car. My other dogs previous to these were 15 years old plus. I love dogs and dogs seem to love me too. I have a fenced in back yard and a large house. Our babies normally have run of the entire house. I would love to work in the Humane Society although, I would want to take them all home with me. It also saddens me to see commercials with the neglected animals and the conditions that they are subjected to. I wish that I could save all of the dogs that are neglected. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. This helps reduce the risk of escaping and helps keep them more safe. We also have a fenced in backyard. However, we always supervise interactions in the backyard between dogs or when the dogs are alone.
