About: I’ve taken care of all of my pets since a very young age. I love every animal I see as if they are my own! Animals bring me so much joy and I wish for them to have the same happiness. I try to pay attention to body language to know what they are telling me especially when we do not know each other yet. I’ve worked as a dog nutritionist at a place called Must Love Dogs (which I certainly do!) I always want to learn more, do more, and constantly be better for the animals in the world even if I’m only able to impact a few. I have experience with dogs who need a lot of support physically (wheelchairs, lift up harnesses, bathroom assistance) as my own German Shepherd needed all of these things later in life. I may have lost count of how many times I was peed on or had to clean the floors, but I wouldn’t change any of it for the world. I hope to honor him everyday and share my love with other fur babies as much as I can. My love for animals is endless. My goal is to be able to fill my days with all sorts of animals I can love on and bring joy to. I am available any day or time for drop in visits, playtime, feedings, and walks! I currently have a dog and a cat. I take my dog for walks and try to provide plenty of play time, snuggles, and other forms of enrichment for him every day. My kitty is still young and loves playtime, being brushed, and always wants snuggles in the morning which I am always happy to provide! I have a miniature bernedoodle and a Shih Tzu currently that I raised from puppies and they are very well behaved. I have watched an older dog who needed liquid IVs and pills and everything went well with him. I currently have three dogs at home. I work part time and can schedule work every week based around what I am doing, so I am pretty much always available as long as it’s about a week in advance. I can be at home as much as needed! I have three friendly dogs (two don’t like to play much but one loves to play) at home and no cats in the house. We do potty breaks every couple of hours which consists of just letting the dogs out in the yard which is not fenced in. Whenever I watch dogs at the house, I am always certain to take the dogs out on leash. If the puppers aren’t the best on leash that’s alright as well, I just use a harness or whatever the owners provide.

About: We provide boarding for your cat or dog in a family-based environment. We try to keep a structured and caring home environment for pets while their owners are away. Our goal is to keep the experience for you and your pet as safe and stress free as possible. Additionally, I have First Aid and CPR Certification for cats and dogs. I am also Fear Free Certified. Being Fear Free Certified means I was trained to look at subtle signs of stress in dogs and cats before they escalate. As well as techniques to make interactions with dogs and cats less stressful. My husband works from home, and I'm also at home with my children. During the school year I do drop off and pick up for the kids. My husband is home at this time. Therefore, dogs are generally always supervised, although there may be brief periods of time we are all out of the home. We have an area designated for the dogs in our home. About: I've been taking care of animals since I was a kid, but I had my first dog 19 years ago. I am very comfortable scooping poo, litterboxes, cleaning up vomit, and checking for abnormal bowel movements and eating habits that may be from stress while you're gone. If your dog just needs to romp in their backyard, I'll follow whatever your home procedure is if they need to be cleaned up after or not. I'll also keep an eye out for indicators of stress: vomit, accidents inside the home or outside the litterbox, scratches or bites on furniture, destroyed toys, etc.

“Callie always has a great time at Heather's and is well cared for. Heather is flexible with minor adjustments to the pick up and drop off times based on changes in our travel plans and is quick to respond to any questions we have.”

“Cody and Byron were absolutely amazing! We had 2 little dogs, a 16 year old yorkie and a 6 year old chihuahua. Our older pup is needy and the figured him out right away. The dogs absolutely loved the outdoor space and we have lots of pictures of them cuddled on the couch with blankets. They stayed for 8 days which I have never left them for that long before. Cody and Byron made them feel at home and made us feel comfortable and confident for the entire time. I would definitely use them again!”
