“Fantastic experience with Coddy and Byron! Our 1-ish year old Austrlian shepherd, Wes, stayed with them for a portion of July. Coddy and Byron were very responsive to messages, sent updates (and pictures/videos of Wes), and genuinely, thoughtfully incorporated Wes into their home for 2 weeks. Two weeks! We miscalculated Wes's food and, when it become apparent it would run out a few days before, Coddy and Byron rationed and mixed it with their own dogs' food in a way that didn't negatively affect Wes's digestion. If that's not top-tier dog watching, we really don't know what is. Would highly recommend and would book again!”

She even lugged my giant Chewy delivery box up three flights of stairs for me (those things are so heavy). She EVEN protected my cats and apartment from unwanted construction work that my landlord was trying to have done while I was gone!!!!!! She followed all of my crazy, stressed cat-mom instructions (haha) and more! She would play with them, brush them, hold the screen door safely shut so they could look outside, and put on TV for them. About: I have two cats and grew up with many animals including dogs, bunnies, reptiles, insects, and fish. My cats have had numerous health issues and I’m comfortable administering medications or doing special care with tough babies! I also worked in an animal research lab where we managed care for farm animals around the clock. I am a graduate student, so my schedule is fairly flexible. Taking care of pets helps me take a break and helps you ensure your pet is getting what they need while you are gone! I have two cats at home, so I am not able to care for other cats, dogs, or pets in my home at this time unfortunately.
About: I have owned two dogs as pets. One lived to be 17. My dogs I have owned were both spunkie and lots of fun! I also worked in Illinois for a local dog walking/sitter company. I would walk my dogs for 20 I do walks in all kinds of weather. I had 2-4 dogs a week. Frankie a male dog and Ginger an older arthritic dog; they were my regulars. I would end every visit with petting and a treat. I really love my dogs and took very good care of them. Every visit ends with a text to the owner including a cute photo and information on whether the dog peed and pooped. I also volunteer at the Huron Velley Humane Society. My son has had all kinds of animals so if you have a bearded dragon or hamster I am familiar with many different pets. I love the flexibility. I enjoy getting outdoors and I love animals. This is a great combo for me. I’m recently stopped working this will a great way to fill my days. My dog gets a lot of love. I believe the best part of dogs is they are simple they just need attention and love. The last two dogs I had I gave lots of petting and hugs. Dogs also need stimulation whether it be playing fetch or using a Kong or some other activity an owner may have I like to incorporate that into my visit.

About: I have taken care of animals and been around animals my entire life. I love both cats and dogs, and have a dog at home! I have plenty of free time during the week. I am typically traveling on weekends and work Wednesdays but otherwise am available at all hours. I live in an apartment but plenty of time to walk around the neighborhoods and there are various parks and dog-parks specifically situated nearby that I bring my own dog to.
