Scheduling: I work full time outside of Rover 9-5 and also take care of my own 4 animals, so I will only have the pleasure of meeting Rover friends a few times throughout the week. Evenings and weekends are preferred. I am part time remote and can occasionally offer care midday or AM, just reach out and ask! Scheduling Disclaimer: Due to a busy client schedule and my office job, my actual arrival time to your home may vary anywhere between 15-30 minutes outside the actual time listed in the booking unless agreed upon otherwise before booking.

Safety: Safety of your furry family member is my utmost priority. Understanding the harness for your dog before our walk and how they handle other dogs, people, and other animals is a must. I also make an effort to avoid other nearby animals on walks for the safety of your pet. I am always conscious of the ever changing weather in Michigan, and whether or not it is safe for your pet to go outside. I also am very familiar with escape artists who love to wait by doors, so I am always extra careful when entering and leaving your home.

What I need to know about your pet ahead of time: Everything and anything! I am highly detailed oriented person, and this extends to not only the care of my own pets, but yours as well. For this reason, I strongly prefer meet and greets for any new pets so we can walk through everything together. At a high level, I like to know feeding habits and schedule, potty habits and schedule, walking habits and schedule, the type of harness used, how your pet reacts to strangers and other animals, how your pet reacts to wet weather, and your primary veterinarian.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes following the pet parents routine! I know how important routines are to pets (and you!) so I always ask in detail. But typically, after walks I always strive to make sure there is time for indoor playtime at the end. For cats, pets and playtime are always included.

Hello pet parents! My name is Sara, and I am a devoted animal lover who is always excited to meet new furry friends and, hopefully, make your life a little easier. My dedication and compassion for animals extend across all spheres of my life, including volunteer experience, being vegan for seven years, caring for my own two cats and two bunnies, and caring for dozens of dogs, cats, bunnies (and even pigs too!) of all ages and sizes through Rover since 2017. I continuously strive to provide the same utmost care to all of my clients as I do for my own animals at home, and I invite you to read all my reviews from happy clients to see the difference my dedication and attention to detail make. I also work in marketing full-time outside Rover, but I remain committed to helping as many pet parents as I can in any given week and can be flexible in my scheduling.
