I’m a huge animal lover with years of hands-on shelter and foster experience, and I genuinely love caring for pets of all personalities and needs. I volunteered for two years with Philly PAWS and currently a volunteer at HSHV. Over the years, I’ve fostered 15+ cats, including kittens, seniors, and cats who need special care, such as medications and eye drops. I’m also very comfortable with shy, anxious, or formerly stray cats, and I take pride in helping them feel safe, calm, and comfortable in a new environment. I care for both cats and dogs, and I’m happy to host multiple cats at once if they are all friendly with cats. For dogs, I only take one dog at a time, so they get my full attention and a calm, low-stress stay. I don’t have any pets of my own at home, which means your pet will be my TOP priority! My home/neighborhood: I live in a large apartment with tall ceilings, stairs, and vertical space, including a cat tree. The neighborhood also has a dog park. My care style: I’m very attentive, patient, and responsive. I love engaging in playtimes and can be calm and gentle for seniors or pets needing extra support. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions. I have a flexible schedule and am quick in communication. I send daily photos and updates, so you can always know how your pet is doing. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, and I don’t take that lightly!
