I needed a last minute sitter and Damon was able to come through in the clutch. Which I appreciate. Unfortunately I observed him yelling and cursing at my dog via camera. My dog is a bit shy with new people but warms right up if you are affectionate and kind to her. I was very disappointed. My dogs were not harmed but I wish he would have communicated if there was an issue. He did leave my house in good condition, I told him to help himself to the food in the fridge....which he did. I would not hire him again to watch my pups, but I do think he would be fine as a house sitter.

I selected Damon for his services based on numerous positive reviews; however, my experience did not meet my expectations. I left specific instructions regarding the feeding of my dog, which were not followed. Instead, he provided my dog with food of his choosing rather than adhering to my requests. Moreover, some of my personal belongings were utilized without my permission, and there was a lack of communication on his part. He only communicated when I initiated contact and did not provide any updates regarding walks or other activities. While I acknowledge that individuals may face personal challenges, it is important to recognize that Rover is not intended for individuals who do not maintain stable living conditions. This service is meant for responsible caretakers when entrusted with the care of others' homes and pets.
