Full Time Cat Only Sitter!
This is my full time job, so I have gotten to know all different kinds of kitties! And spending most of my days with cats helps me to to get to know yours even faster. Cats are some of the most clear communicators if you're paying attention, and understanding them has become one of my favorite parts of this job. I have had a few cats with chronic illnesses which unfortunately gives me more experience than most cat sitters. From urinary issues to heart disease, these tough issues have made me an expert at pilling kitties, administering inhalers when needed and keeping a watchful eye on any out of the norm behaviors.

Cats are usually pretty great at telling you how they want their visit to go but most follow a pretty steady routine. Food, litter box check and then play time followed up by pets if they want them.

Cara has been our go-to cat sitter for the past year, and we’ve booked with her several times now. She always takes great care of our two cats, follows all of our instructions, and spends time playing with them during each visit. One of our cats is very anxious around most people, so it says a lot that she’s become comfortable with Cara. Knowing our cats are happy and relaxed with someone they trust gives us so much peace of mind whenever we’re away for an extended trip. Good communication, cares about your pets and does a great job because of it. My cats are shy and Cara adapted to make sure they had food near their safe hiding spot. Litter boxes were kept clean so the cats didn’t leave any messes around the house.
Cara was fantastic with my 19 year old cat who requires daily medication. She provided a check-in report with images for every visit and always made sure to communicate exactly how he was doing. I was particularly nervous because my pet had been sick just before she started visiting and was still recovering so it was wonderful to see how well he was taken care of in my absence.
Cara has taken care of our cats many times and always does an amazing job, especially with our shy girl! She always sends lots of pictures and updates. I highly recommend Cara if you need a caring and reliable pet sitter!

I am a full time cat sitter so I am usually very flexible. Please let me know if drop in times are firm or flexible.
- CatsCara can host up to 4 drop-ins per day
- Let me know if your kitty is on any medications. Also very important to know if your kitty likes belly rubs. It's rare but it happens!
