A typical day
Cats like to get some sniffing in as they get to know you so I always try to be patient. But once we build trust, my go to usually any safe string toy. That's usually the fastest way to gain a captive audience!

Full Time Cat Only Sitter!
Cat care experience
This is my full time job, so I have gotten to know all different kinds of kitties! And spending most of my days with cats helps me to to get to know yours even faster. Cats are some of the most clear communicators if you're paying attention, and understanding them has become one of my favorite parts of this job. I have had a few cats with chronic illnesses which unfortunately gives me more experience than most cat sitters. From urinary issues to heart disease, these tough issues have made me an expert at pilling kitties, administering inhalers when needed and keeping a watchful eye on any out of the norm behaviors.

Good communication, cares about your pets and does a great job because of it. My cats are shy and Cara adapted to make sure they had food near their safe hiding spot. Litter boxes were kept clean so the cats didn’t leave any messes around the house.
Cara was fantastic with my 19 year old cat who requires daily medication. She provided a check-in report with images for every visit and always made sure to communicate exactly how he was doing. I was particularly nervous because my pet had been sick just before she started visiting and was still recovering so it was wonderful to see how well he was taken care of in my absence.
