About: Hi! I’m a proud husky dad who recently moved to Grand Rapids and I’m excited to meet all the fluffy friends in the area. I believe every dog deserves kindness, structure, and a bit of fun along the way. My style? Positive reinforcement with clear boundaries—lots of praise, gentle guidance, exercise, and treats (when earned!). Whether your pup needs a calm walk, some high-energy play, or just someone who gets their quirks, I’m here for it. In my free time, I volunteer at the local shelter walking dogs and helping out however I can. I’ve raised my husky since he was 4 months old—so I understand the ups and downs of house training, daily exercise, and building trust. From basic obedience to fun tricks like “play dead,” I’ve trained my own dog with patience and love. I aim to create a safe, relaxed, and fun environment where dogs feel at home—even when they’re away from it. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your dog like family, I’d love to help. Let me know what your pup needs—I’ll take care of the rest. 🐾 As a house dad, I have a flexible and consistent schedule while my partner works full time. I’m available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, which makes me a great fit for weekday walks, drop-in visits, or play sessions. I’m looking to use that time for something active and meaningful—and spending it with dogs is the perfect way. Please note: I’m currently unavailable for boarding, but I’m happy to provide dependable daytime care during the week. I know how much your dog means to you—mine means the world to me too. I keep things calm and easy so your pup feels safe and relaxed. I take my time, earn their trust, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy the whole time we’re together.

“Linda is very reliable and great with our dog!!”

“Richard was very consistent and reliable and communication was very good. I believe he also genuinely enjoyed spending time with my dog.”

About: In the past I have watched, walked, and played with a variety of dogs and cats as well as taken care of fish and guinea pigs. I am able to take care of many animals at a time without sacrificing my quality of care. I also have experience with administering medication to both dogs and cats. I am a college student who genuinely loves animals and would love any chance to spend time with some! I am a student part time and I am working part time. My current availability for walking, feeding, and play time is Monday, Wednesday Friday from 8am-10:30am, 12:30pm-4:30pm and 10pm-12am. On Tuesday and Thursday I am available from 8am-9:30am, 11:30am-2pm 4-4:30 and 10pm-12am. On Saturday and Sunday I am available from 8am-4:30pm and 10pm-12am. For overnight sitting I am available any days of the week! Unfortunately I am not able to care for pets in my home because I am renting. But I am available for pet care in client’s home! I am able to play with, walk, feed, and groom animals as well as pick up poop/clean cat litter. If your pet had any unique needs I am willing to discuss as well!

About: I can work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. From high-energy hikes to leisurely neighborhood strolls, I tailor each walk to fit the dog’s needs and personality. I’ve developed a strong sense of leash handling, reading body language, and keeping dogs safe and happy during every outing. Whether it’s rain or shine, I show up reliably and treat every dog like my own to ensure they get the exercise, stimulation, and affection they need while giving pet parents peace of mind. I currently work in healthcare and have several weekdays and weekend off, I am looking for some part time work while I have several days to myself! I am flexible and able to accommodate all kinds of outings! I may have time on days I have marked unavailable, so please reach out! I have a deep respect for my own space and the space of others while caring for their family member! While belly rubs and play time are important, safety and accountability take precedence during care!

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: I am a dog loving person who can get along with any animal. I have taken care of past neighborhood dogs for weekends and walks. I also had a dog growing up for the past 13 years. I currently work full time in office Monday-Wednesday. I work from home Thursday and Fridays so I have lots of flexibility. I’m free most weekends. I am very attentive to your dog’s needs. Any special requests for your dog I can do and make them feel confortable in their home.

About: I've always watched pets growing up! I love taking care of them and follow all of the necessary instructions you leave me to a tee! Thank you for considering me :) I am currently in physical therapy school, but still have lots of time in the afternoons/evenings! I am on clinical rotations at the moment and have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off along with my other evenings free as mentioned :) I follow the instructions you give me to a tee! I am here to make sure that your animal feels comfortable and is well taken care of while you are away/busy :)

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and cats throughout the years ranging from yorkies to pitbulls. I’ve taken care of cats for over 10 years now. I have experience with rodents and a bit of fish. I have trained many dogs how to be potty trained and occasional shakes and lie downs. ‘’Aggressive” dogs seem to be more calm around me and never give any issues. A few years ago my friend and I would take on 8 dogs at once along with my cat and our 2 bunnies. We never had any fighting (besides occasional competition with treats), run aways, or complaints. We are well known for providing excellent care in our community. I am more than happy to negotiate outside my terms and rates and will be more than happy sending how ever many updates you would like to request. I currently have my schedules freed up for now. I will be starting my full time job the 24th of June but will continue providing care outside of it. My job will be hybrid allowing to use my lunch and local location to provide potty breaks and check ins. I am willing to negotiate long term service as well as building a relationship with your furbabies. 🫶 My current dog is 7 years old hypoallergenic shih-poo. I also have an 8 year old cat who’s real chill, but like most will need time to open up. He’s used to a house full of dogs. I would prefer to be at the clients home as it will most likely suite the furbaby’s emotions better.

About: I grew up with a family dog and have pet-sat for friends and neighbors. My dog has some anxiety and can be too smart for his own good sometimes, so I can handle difficult personalities. I love all animals but have the most experience with dogs and cats. I am taking the summer off regular work after completing college at Calvin University. My regular schedule is extremely flexible, though I may have random activities I commit to week to week. I will talk to them mostly using commands they would know in phrases and use tone of voice to help convey my message. I am patient and calm. I will stick to their regular food schedule and check on their water and watch for signs of needing to go out, such as restlessness or ringing bells, in between regularly taking them out. Regular pets and maybe cuddles and some play time are always an option if it suits the pet.

About: I have been watching animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a house full of cats and dogs, I've been involved with puppies/kittens to senior pets as well. I'm available to administer medication if needed. I've looked after animals for my neighbors, friends, family, and co-workers as well as those I have been recommended to from existing clientele. I currently work full time, but am remote Thursday and Fridays. I work from 8-5 PM everyday, with an hour break from 12-1 PM. I can work around my schedule and yours for your pets needs! Available on the weekends, all day, as well. I have a back yard at my home in case that your fur baby needs to stay with me for a duration. I do have a cat at the home, but he sticks to himself (will hide away - he's not mean but is pretty shy!). If the animals needs to be crated, I have plenty of space for that, or if they are used to free-roaming, the house will be taken care of so there's nothing they'd be able to get into.

“Clear communicator, flexible with scheduling, sent regular updates - Gabriella is great!”

“Prisila took care of My dog with flexibility and consideration for her condition. She played with Kaya in the yard and indoors when she was moody and didn't want to walk for very long. Kaya loves her and trusts her.”

About: I’ve cared for my family’s dogs and cats since I was able to help as a child. I have experience watching dogs of various breeds/sizes and cats of all ages! I love being outside and would love walking or running with your pup. I’m currently a registered nurse at an area hospital! So I am available on my days off to hang out with your pet and provide excellent care! I provide a quiet environment to pets of all ages and breeds, as well as years of experience being around animals. Safety is my priority with your pet!

About: I have taken care of others’ pets from a young age. Growing up with an interest in animals, I moved on to my academic career, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. During my time in school, I had the opportunity to train service dogs, sit and train pets from many different families, and even adopt two pets of my own! Following my academic career in Animal Science, I moved on to a position in Veterinary Pharmacy. I have since moved on to be a dairy cattle embryologist. All of my education, skills and experience have allowed me to prove my abilities in animal care, handling, and safety. There is no animal I would shy away from, no matter their quirks. I am currently working full time, but only work a 4 day week, with shifts ending around 8am, 10:00am at the very latest. This allows me to be available at very early hours in the morning, and throughout the remainder of the days that I work! I live in the downtown environment which will offer great socialization for your pets. I also am able to take pets to trails, neighborhood walks, and offer adventures while you are away. In your home, I am able to offer a sense of companionship and play. I hope to be a highlight of your pets’ day!
