About: Hi! I’m a proud husky dad who recently moved to Grand Rapids and I’m excited to meet all the fluffy friends in the area. I believe every dog deserves kindness, structure, and a bit of fun along the way. My style? Positive reinforcement with clear boundaries—lots of praise, gentle guidance, exercise, and treats (when earned!). Whether your pup needs a calm walk, some high-energy play, or just someone who gets their quirks, I’m here for it. In my free time, I volunteer at the local shelter walking dogs and helping out however I can. I’ve raised my husky since he was 4 months old—so I understand the ups and downs of house training, daily exercise, and building trust. From basic obedience to fun tricks like “play dead,” I’ve trained my own dog with patience and love. I aim to create a safe, relaxed, and fun environment where dogs feel at home—even when they’re away from it. If you’re looking for someone who’ll treat your dog like family, I’d love to help. Let me know what your pup needs—I’ll take care of the rest. 🐾 As a house dad, I have a flexible and consistent schedule while my partner works full time. I’m available Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM, which makes me a great fit for weekday walks, drop-in visits, or play sessions. I’m looking to use that time for something active and meaningful—and spending it with dogs is the perfect way. Please note: I’m currently unavailable for boarding, but I’m happy to provide dependable daytime care during the week. I know how much your dog means to you—mine means the world to me too. I keep things calm and easy so your pup feels safe and relaxed. I take my time, earn their trust, and make sure they’re comfortable and happy the whole time we’re together.

“Gaby is awesome all around and attentive to my dog, Emmy’s, specific needs and personality. She is a very clear and prompt communicator, and goes the extra mile for your dog!”

“Linda is very reliable and great with our dog!!”

“Richard was very consistent and reliable and communication was very good. I believe he also genuinely enjoyed spending time with my dog.”

About: I can work with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and energy levels. From high-energy hikes to leisurely neighborhood strolls, I tailor each walk to fit the dog’s needs and personality. I’ve developed a strong sense of leash handling, reading body language, and keeping dogs safe and happy during every outing. Whether it’s rain or shine, I show up reliably and treat every dog like my own to ensure they get the exercise, stimulation, and affection they need while giving pet parents peace of mind. I currently work in healthcare and have several weekdays and weekend off, I am looking for some part time work while I have several days to myself! I am flexible and able to accommodate all kinds of outings! I may have time on days I have marked unavailable, so please reach out! I have a deep respect for my own space and the space of others while caring for their family member! While belly rubs and play time are important, safety and accountability take precedence during care!

“Michelle took great care of my dogs with regular walks while I was on vacation. I came home to happy, healthy boys! I would hire Michelle again; she will take great care of your pets!”

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: I am a dog loving person who can get along with any animal. I have taken care of past neighborhood dogs for weekends and walks. I also had a dog growing up for the past 13 years. I currently work full time in office Monday-Wednesday. I work from home Thursday and Fridays so I have lots of flexibility. I’m free most weekends. I am very attentive to your dog’s needs. Any special requests for your dog I can do and make them feel confortable in their home.

About: I've always watched pets growing up! I love taking care of them and follow all of the necessary instructions you leave me to a tee! Thank you for considering me :) I am currently in physical therapy school, but still have lots of time in the afternoons/evenings! I am on clinical rotations at the moment and have Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off along with my other evenings free as mentioned :) I follow the instructions you give me to a tee! I am here to make sure that your animal feels comfortable and is well taken care of while you are away/busy :)

About: For the past few years, I've been assisting friends and relatives with pet care. I'd been pet sitting for the past five years! I've been in the rover app helping pet owners for the past 3 years. I enjoy getting to know each pet and their families. I have two kitties and adore them. Animals will show you affection while also relieving your personal worries and tension!! This is why I appreciate and adore what I do. Besides pet sitting and assisting families, I get to experience their affection and they help me emotionally. 🫶🏼 I'm an early preschool teacher and a youth specialist, My schedule it's different everyday but we can always work something out by letting you know my schedule and if it works with what you are looking for. Most of the times I babysit as well so if you looking for a babysitter as well let me know!! I love communicating so we can find the right pet sitter for you! Whether it's me or someone else! I am used to watching a very mischievous husky so I consider myself good at keeping an eye on pets and staying active with them.

About: Very flexible I have decades of experience caring for dogs (from Yorkies to Pit Bulls), cats (10+ years), rodents, and even some fish. I’ve trained dogs in potty habits and basic commands like “shake” and “lie down.” Even dogs labeled as “aggressive” tend to be calm around me. A few years ago, a friend and I cared for 8 dogs, a cat, and 2 bunnies all under one roof without any issues. We became known in our community for providing reliable, loving care. I’m open to negotiating rates and happy to send as many updates as you’d like. I can sometimes accommodate last minute/same day bookings—just ask! Availability: • Mon–Fri: Early mornings or quick drop-ins (before 8:30 AM or depending on location) & evenings after 6pm • Sat: Flexible with advance notice • Sun: After 4 PMish Availability: • Mon–Fri: Early mornings or quick drop-ins (before 8:30 AM or depending on location) & evenings after 6PM • Sat: Flexible with advance notice • Sun: After 4 PMish I am located downtown Grand Rapids. During the week I have a hybrid job where I work from home or Caledonia. On weekends I will be at my Grandville location. I am open to me providing the pick ups/drop offs that fit in that schedule. My current dog is 7 years old hypoallergenic shih-poo. I also have an 8 year old cat who’s real chill, but like most will need time to open up. He’s used to a house full of dogs. I would prefer to be at the clients home as it will most likely suite the furbaby’s emotions better.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life, of course, but I also have experience working in a vet clinic/boarding facility as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with most small animals (cats , dogs, and in between)! I’m currently working part-time, so I have lots of time to fit in walks and check-ins with your furry friends while you’re at work or out of town! I can’t wait to spend some time with them! I have offered in-home pet care for many friends and family over the years, given my experience working with animals. I am comfortable with dogs of all personality types and sizes, and will respect the owners wishes on what their restrictions and expectations are for each visit!

About: I grew up caring for chihuahuas and dachshunds, but I love dogs of all breeds and sizes. I’m confident and comfortable walking everything from tiny pups to big, strong dogs, and I always prioritize safety, good leash manners, and a fun, engaging walk. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and cats with special needs, including administering medications—both by mouth and subcutaneous injection. I’m certified in dog CPR through Pro-Trainings, so you can feel confident your pet is in capable hands. Whether it’s a drop-in visit or a long stroll through the neighborhood, I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. I work from home and have time throughout my day to give an animal a proper walk or any needed care. I have a flexible schedule. I have two fur babies to keep your pet company as well as a kitty cat with no teeth. All of my pets are seniors and tend to keep to themselves — but are friendly with other animals. All shots up to date as well as monthly tick/flea prevention.

“Rebecca took care of my two crazy orange cats and she did phenomenally! I was out of town on vacation and she made sure to brush my cats, scoop the litter regularly, give them a nail trim (which is so hard since both of them are so restless) along with taking them outside in my cat stroller and play with them! She also made sure that they didn't get into any food and throw up! Thank you so much for watching them! I hope to have you watch them again!”

17. RanDee H.
“I cannot recommend RanDee highly enough! I have never met anyone with a more genuine love for animals and a deep understanding of their needs. Her kindness and compassion shines not just with pets, but people as well. RanDee took the time to learn about my cats and dog's needs. I have a quirky and very shy cat, but RanDee managed to build a strong bond and gain her trust, nobody else has ever managed to bring Midnight out of her shell like RanDee!! My pets love her as much as she loves them! I never hesitate to have RanDee pet sit and have complete peace of mind when I travel. She sends updates and photos every time I am away. I appreciate the extra attention she gives to my senior cat as well. What really sets RanDee apart is her previous experience working in a veterinary clinic with many different types of pets. She is very calming and loving! If you are looking for someone who will treat your pets like their own- with love, expertise, and care-look no further!”
