My apartment has a dog wash station, and a great walking space and with some trails! I have worked with large and small animals and I am able to walk and play with them all day! About: I have been caring for and loving dogs and cats for my whole life but have been doing pet sitting for the past 6 years! No longer having one of my own, I have a very open schedule and love to spend my time keeping your fur babies company! My favorite past times include walking and curling up with a good book and would love the opportunity to include your sweet pets! I do remote work right now so I have a lot of free time to spend with your fur babies! I am available for home stays or drop-ins of any length, and love to fill my time with sweet animals of all types and personalities! About: Every dog is has their own personality. It’s more than dog sitting, it’s building a connection. In the past, I’ve taken care of multiple dogs at one time, each one with different needs. Whether it was making sure they took their medication or sitting with them while they ate. Catering to each dog and what they need is something very important to me. I’m currently home from college and don’t have any regular commitments. My plans vary depending on the week but as your dog sitter your dogs will be my priority. I know how important a routine and schedule can be for a dog, taking them out to potty every certain number of hours or feeding them at specific times.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: I have owned two dogs and they were my responsibilities to take care of them. More recently I had a 16 year old dog that I would consider my “soul dog”. She taught me how to be prepared for every stage in a dogs life ~ from puppy, to psycho hyper dog, to well behaved, to maybe doesn’t do well with other dogs, to being needy and wanting extra love, or to her wanting her alone time. She also taught me towards the end of her life how on top of appointments I needed to be or how to trick her into taking her medicine (as that was a hassle) and to pay extra attention for signs of not feeling good. I will make sure your dog gets the love and attention it needs! I love to play with dogs and miss having a companion. If your dog likes to go to the dog park I’ll take them! I think it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, unless there are circumstances that prevent that from happening that’s understandable as well. Choose me to make sure your dog gets taken care of the right way! I currently work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 with the availability to go home on lunches. I will make sure to adjust my schedule to what your dog needs. I currently have a roommate with a dog and help her out when needed or take her dog to the dog park when I can tell she needs socialization. I always make time to go outside. I’ll have treats to offer. Your dog will get a lot of attention with me. I’ll make sure to comfort them since they will be without their owner! I am respectful of others home’s and follow instructions for their pets.
