“Jasmine is an awesome dog walker! She was very attentive and left some of the best notes I've ever had from a dog walker/sitter, which I really appreciated. She also used rover cards, which helps a ton, so I know where Moe walked and how far during the day. 10/10 will use again. I can also tell she has a lot of good experience working with animals. Thanks Jasmine!”

“Thank you! Lillie was able to come by with very little notice and arrived right on time. She was easy to communicate with and very patient with Squidward, who is shy and nervous around new people. They went for a walk, and when the heat became too much for him, she appropriately brought him back early. I had a good first experience and will likely book with her again so Squidward can continue getting comfortable with her.”

“Katie has been absolutely incredible with my dog Ding. I come home from long days at work and can tell that he’s been cared for, stimulated and nurtured. Katie has very communicative and asked question when necessary…it’s truly been so easy trusting her with my favorite friend. We really appreciate you Katie! Thanks :)”

“I am a very over protective doggie mom. I met Claire and instantly liked her and so did my Daisy. She helped us out for a few days and I cannot tell you how pleased and grateful I am for hiring her. She is wonderful with dogs (and mine is strong and a bit wild). My dog LOVES her! I cannot recommend Claire enough! I wish this offered more than 5 stars!”

“I would highly recommend Maelee. She has walked Scout multiple times now and is always on time and a great communicator. Plus the cute pictures after the walk are always an added bonus 😊”

“Brian did a great job checking in on Mochi when I had to work all day. He took him for a walk and made sure he went potty. Gave Mochi lots of treats and attention! Thanks again ?”

I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I take the time to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. As the owner of a senior dog, I have firsthand experience caring for older pets and understand the patience, attention, and specialized care they often require. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with companionship, I'm committed to following their routine and providing individualized care. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I pride myself on being dependable, attentive, and communicative, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind by providing compassionate, trustworthy care while keeping you updated with photos and messages during your pet's stay. I would be honored to care for your pet and look forward to providing them with a safe, loving, and stress-free experience. I work for home 5 days a week with a flexible schedule! About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. I let my dogs on the couches and beds and they have free reign of the house

“What an amazing experience. Michael is the best dog walker Gideòn has ever had and that includes myself. Gideòn absolutely loves him. Michael is prompt and courteous. He's even moved some of my packages inside my door when he picked up Gideòn for his walk. He has made what would be a nervous experience for both parties into something enjoyable. Gideòn seems invigorated by their walks. I was hoping Michael's walks would make Gideòn tired but it has seemed to have the opposite effect. I'm unsure whether to reprimand Michael or just be excited Gideòn is enthused with the new friendship lol. Michael is a great guy, great walker, and truly a dog's best friend. I highly recommend him for anything and everything pooch related.”

“This was our initial walk for introduction and it could not have gone better. Cooper can be a bit reactive and that did not phase Daniel one bit! At one point Daniel bent over to tie his shoe and Cooper went in for a smooch opportunity! I am thrilled!!!!! The boys are thrilled! Daniel is terrific, kind and patient. Welcome aboard to our pack ?”

About: I was born to care for your furry or scaled friend. I am not only a pediatric nurse but a dog/cat/lizard/fish mom and love my babies dearly. I work full-time but have 4 days off per week and could be available whenever you need me on those days. A lot of weekday availability. I can accommodate for all of your pets needs! I do love to drop in for pets and give play/potty breaks. I also love to walk and if your pet needs playtime, my dog loves to play! He is very friendly if your companion needs some friend time.
About: I have owned two dogs and they were my responsibilities to take care of them. More recently I had a 16 year old dog that I would consider my “soul dog”. She taught me how to be prepared for every stage in a dogs life ~ from puppy, to psycho hyper dog, to well behaved, to maybe doesn’t do well with other dogs, to being needy and wanting extra love, or to her wanting her alone time. She also taught me towards the end of her life how on top of appointments I needed to be or how to trick her into taking her medicine (as that was a hassle) and to pay extra attention for signs of not feeling good. I will make sure your dog gets the love and attention it needs! I love to play with dogs and miss having a companion. If your dog likes to go to the dog park I’ll take them! I think it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, unless there are circumstances that prevent that from happening that’s understandable as well. Choose me to make sure your dog gets taken care of the right way! I currently work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 with the availability to go home on lunches. I will make sure to adjust my schedule to what your dog needs. I currently have a roommate with a dog and help her out when needed or take her dog to the dog park when I can tell she needs socialization. I always make time to go outside. I’ll have treats to offer. Your dog will get a lot of attention with me. I’ll make sure to comfort them since they will be without their owner! I am respectful of others home’s and follow instructions for their pets.
About: My goal is to make sure your dog is happy, comfortable and having a great time! Whether thats lounging on a couch together, playing fetch, going for a hike, fun enrichment activities or working on their skills. Together you and your dog will let me know what you both are seeking and I will custom my time spent with them to their needs and wants. Its all about the Dogs. I have lots to offer in forms of exercise and enrichment. I also work part time at our local Animal Shelter where I work specifically with the dogs caring for their daily needs and providing a variety of enrichment activities. I am also a Fear Free and CPDT-KA, SBA Dog Trainer and formally taught Obedience Classes at the Humane Society of West Michigan, where I specialized in Reactive Dogs. I only use positive and reward based training. Now I primarily focus on providing free training sessions to families with dogs in our community who face financial hardships through the pet outreach organization Grand Rapids Pit Bull Alliance.. I have my CPDT-KA, Certified Professional Dog Trainer Knowledge Assessed certification from the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers. I also have my Fear Free Certification and am a member of the IAABC, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultents Shelter Division. I am also a Horticulturist therefore my schedule in the Fall and Winter changes to provide more availability as I am laid off from my landscaping employment. I will provide trusted care to your pets in the comfort of your home in a environment they are custom too and more at ease. My goal whether working with our pets in the shelter or clients pets is to create a relaxing environment where they are happy and free from stress.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Ottawa Hills
Kate is so amazing with my energetic lab. He is high anxiety and she handles him so well! I’m so happy I found her on here, and feel that my dog is in great hands when he’s being walked. Will always use her when I need someone to check on my baby while I’m at work.

Zachary did an awesome job walking my dog Phoebe! He took all instruction on board, genuinely cares for all her needs and nuances and has great communication. He kept me updated on how the walk went with messages and photos, he’s very reliable and trustworthy with the care of your pet, couldn’t recommend enough!

Raven is awesome! She responds to requests super fast, she’s great at communicating, and she took great care of my dog Ding. She was even able to accommodate a last minute walk request. Highly recommended, I’ll definitely be booking with her again. Thanks Raven!

Claire and Spatzle are slowly working on an introduction. He is a nervous and reactive boy so we are working our way to being able to do overnights and drop ins. Her vet med hx and experience with a reactive dog is SO helpful in knowing how to interact with him and it's going great so far.
