About: I've cared for dogs and cats of all kinds, and have owned my own large breed for 8 years. I love spending my free time with animals! I am in school right now, and perform music on the weekends. It's difficult to fit a traditional 9-5 in my schedule, so I love that I'm able to make ends meet while doing what I love, spending time with animals❤️ I am strong, and accustomed to walking big dogs. About: In my 16 years of watching dogs, I’ve had the pleasure of being the exclusive dogsitter for 8+ families across northeast Indiana, Indianapolis and Grand Rapids. I’ve worked with families of multiple dogs, experienced hands-on training from certified dog trainers, and families with more than dogs. All-in-all, I’ve come to know and experience many routines for many breeds and have provided excellent care for all of them. I'm newly self-employed after 3 years of working remotely! Looking to both apply my whole self to this marketing agency founder life while being able to pay my bills. I can work remotely from anywhere with wifi, a spot to sit, perhaps a good cup of coffee, and any fur babes by my side. And like pets, I need my exercise, too. With 16 years of experience, I've definitely encountered many furry faces with many unique features. And I can handle the cats with claws and the big dogs with lots of bark and no bite. It's been observed by my closest friends, family, and perfect strangers that I bring a calming aura to their personal spaces. About: Hi! I am a junior at GVSU studying Radiation Therapy. I have pet sat and dog walked for family and friends for years. I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from nervous chihuahuas to chunky Rottweilers! I’ve also cared for many cat personalities too. I’ve volunteered at West Michigan humane society in the cat and small animals department. I also have a love for reptiles and rodents. I currently have 2 five year old Guinea pig girls, and my roommate has a Russian tortoise! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, fostering and adopting dogs, taking in barn cats, a few pet fish, and having a leopard gecko for 10+ years. I have a lot of time available, and would love to assist your family! As a busy college student- I actually have plenty of time to stay in someone’s home as I can study! I have scheduled classes 10am-3pm Tues, Wed, and Noon-2pm Thurs. I can be flexible depending on your needs. When caring for an animal in a clients home I want to understand the animals personality, needs, and quirks. I love playing with animals, giving them affection, or just being in their presence. I make sure your pet/s have plenty bathroom breaks, constant clean water, fed at appropriate times, and feel loved. I’m happy to abide by oddly specific instructions, my own animals require some silly requests :-) Every animal has different levels of trust, and I am always patient to gain that trust and not expect it. Your pets won’t be bored or lonely, I’m happy to keep them entertained!

About: I’ve always loved dogs and make sure to give them the best care possible. I want to take care of them as if they were my own. During the week, I work full-time and don’t have a lunch break, but I’m typically available after 4:15–4:30 PM, and I’m off at 3:00 PM on Fridays. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a little extra company, I’m happy to help however I can. I make sure to always take dogs on walks, and give them extra care. I’m more than happy to sit outside with them (weather pending) and play or just hangout together.

“What an amazing experience. Michael is the best dog walker Gideòn has ever had and that includes myself. Gideòn absolutely loves him. Michael is prompt and courteous. He's even moved some of my packages inside my door when he picked up Gideòn for his walk. He has made what would be a nervous experience for both parties into something enjoyable. Gideòn seems invigorated by their walks. I was hoping Michael's walks would make Gideòn tired but it has seemed to have the opposite effect. I'm unsure whether to reprimand Michael or just be excited Gideòn is enthused with the new friendship lol. Michael is a great guy, great walker, and truly a dog's best friend. About: I am a compassionate and energetic sitter that is ready to take your pet on the best walk of their life or just give some regular good company. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats, I have a lot of experience caring for and listening to cues of animals. I also have 8 years experience in obedience training for dogs. I currently hold a part time position, so I would have a lot of time on my hands to care for your dog. I have more availability during the week, but weekends are also an option. I am open to either a fixed or random schedule. I will do my best to read your pet's cues, whether it's time to play or if they need some space for a while. I will be gentle and patient with your pet, I understand every animal is different. Safety is a top priority of mine as well, I will always double check that the gate/door isn't open and that the leash is hooked on properly.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and absolutely love caring for them. I love being outside and going for walks and dogs just add to this. I cared for my little guy until he was 15, so I also have experience with senior dog care and handling meds. I usually have a later start to my work day, so morning walks are perfected for me. I’m also able to help out in some evenings depending on the day. I always keep a close eye when dog watching and love to go for long walks. I’m happy to be as hands on as you’d like with your pet care :)

About: From my Freshman year to Senior year of high school I have been walking my neighborhood dogs everyday after school. I am great with animals considering I have also grew up with a Labrador and a french bulldog. As a college student missing her dogs, I would be happy to care for your animal. One thing that also sets me apart is that my roommate also uses rover and I helped her occasionally which has given me lots of experience with this app! Personally, I believe that I am great with animals after the experience I have had, and you can trust me to care for your furry friend :) I am currently a college student and athlete but my schedule is pretty open currently. I am free during the week everyday, but I am usually busy around 4-9 PM on weekdays due to soccer practice. I will treat any pet in my clients home like it is my own. I treat my own dogs with gentle care and love. I love giving attention to dogs that are energetic and I will always comfort any animal that is in a sleepy mood. Lastly, my roommate uses rover and I have helped her take care of other pets which has also given me some experience!

About: *update 2026* I still love caring for your babies, but my schedule has gotten very busy this year. Please always feel free to reach out (even if my calendar looks full—things change quickly!) but know that my availability is often pretty limited. I don’t want to accept requests when I cannot give your dog the love they deserve. Thank you for your understanding! — I've been training and taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old! I have housetrained, crate trained, taken Canine Good Citizen and other obedience classes, and done several years of agility training with my dogs. If you have an active dog, we can go running, hiking, or for long walks around the neighborhood. If you have a couch potato, we can lounge all day! I currently have a five year old Dalmatian mix, Izzi, who loves making new friends! She is very friendly and easygoing, and would love playing with your dog. Izzi comes with me to housesit, so your dog will have a playmate the whole time. I work remotely 2-3 days a week and am available most weekends! My remote schedule is fairly flexible, especially if coordinated in advance, so if you need weekday sitting we can probably work something out! While I don’t have a fenced in yard, Izzi and I go for several walks each day, so your dog will get lots of exercise! My own dog suffered from severe separation anxiety when I adopted her two years ago. We are also working to get over her fear of the car. I know what it's like to be trapped in your house with an anxious dog! If your dog can't be left alone (or is delicate in other ways), let me know and I can make sure to stay with them the entire time. I can work with you to make your dog's experience the best possible!
