About: I am an English teacher and I have summers off! Dogs or cats, or lizards! I would love to spend it with your furry friends! I can spend all day with your special friends! My apartment has a dog wash station, and a great walking space and with some trails! I have worked with large and small animals and I am able to walk and play with them all day! About: I’ve always been good with animals, from dogs to snakes, and I plan on making it my full time career. I’ve been called a “dog whisperer” before and grew up with more animal friends than human ones. As a certified dog trainer, I understand the ins and outs of canine behavior and body language, so I can get along with and manage dogs with a wide variety of quirks and personalities. My interest in training was spurred after adopting a pit mix. Knowing the breed’s reputation and temperament, it was important for her to be as trained as possible. My abilities only improved after purchasing my deaf dog, Blixen, who proved to be an engaging challenge! Nowadays I can take both of them off leash anywhere with complete confidence. As a cat person, I also love spending time with feline friends! With three cats at home, and growing up with a cat almost always in the house, how could I not? In the past I have also had mice, gerbils, and rats, so there’s no animal I’m uncomfortable with. This is my career, so as of today I essentially always have room in my schedule to provide top-notch services for anyone who needs them. Hello! I know how important your pets are to you and while they’re with me I treat them like they're my own. Fun is my top priority, so I always make sure to provide plenty of playtime and exercise for your pets. (All dogs shown off leash have good recall and/or are in fenced in areas, I have several long leashes for fun walks in the woods or playtime in the yard). About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always contributed to their care and look forward to having one of my own. I have a Sphynx cat named Olive who is my baby. I also have a pet ornate box turtle named Tammy and I treat both as my children, so I have experience caring for reptiles. I also have experience caring for rodents for the past two years. I have watched many of my neighbors dogs before while out of town, as well as my friends cats. I have 2 years of experience of being one of the only people doing Rover in Marquette MI, and had at least one dog staying with me every day for that time on top of doing house visit, so I have lots and lots of Rover experience! (Most of my repeat clients moved to off Rover arrangements) I am currently a medical student in Grand Rapids so my hours are a little limited now, and I can no longer board as I live in an apartment. However, I’m off for the summer and would love to watch/walk some fur babies! I’m currently on summer break from medical school, so I have availability pretty much every week day. However, I have a lot of weekend trips planned, so my weekend dates are limited. I will say I do prefer to sleep at my own house, but for house sitting can do as many drop in visits as needed and can stay for long periods of time. I am able to take the animals on long walks or hikes if that is desired, am available for around the clock care, and have experience with reptiles, rodents, cats, and dogs. I have lots of experience hosting dogs at my home. Now, I can adapt to any animals needs and follow any plans or routines you give me!

About: I have more than 10 years experience working at dog daycares, grooming, and sitting/walking dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I am comfortable with administering medication both orally and injections. I've I am always trying to educate myself and others about reading dog behaviors and the best ways to react to situations. I am an artist by trade so my work hours are very flexible. If I'm sitting in your home, I will stick to your pet's normal routine as closely as possible to give them a sense or normalcy and comfort. My more than 10 years of experience have prepared me for almost any situation. I am a big proponent of safety first especially when it comes to your pets interacting with other animals, escape artists, and counter surfers getting into harmful things.
