8. Lauren A.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

9. Mara K.

“Mara was fantastic with Piper!!! (And me, lol)! Thank you so much for walking Piper and I am so grateful and happy to see how she adored you so quickly. Piper is picky, and sometimes slow to warm, but she loved Mara!!! She has my highest recommendation for friendliness, communication, responsiveness, and an obvious love for dogs, and dogs for her. Thank you Mara!!! We definitely would love for you to walk Piper again!!??”

10. Katie S.

“Katie has been punctual and reliable for Olive. Thank you, Katie!”

11. Emily O.
“Emily has taken care of my kitties while I've been on vacation! She goes above and beyond taking care of them, and gives me updates on them, which I find so helpful while I'm away. Emily is responsible, reliable, and responsive. I know if she is cat sitting, my fur babies are in good hands. 10/10 recommend!”

12. Rebecca O.
“Rebecca took care of my two crazy orange cats and she did phenomenally! I was out of town on vacation and she made sure to brush my cats, scoop the litter regularly, give them a nail trim (which is so hard since both of them are so restless) along with taking them outside in my cat stroller and play with them! She also made sure that they didn't get into any food and throw up! Thank you so much for watching them! I hope to have you watch them again!”

13. Emily S.
About: I currently work at a PetSmart Pet Hotel, where we take care of cats and dogs. I have years of experience taking care of cats, dogs, reptiles, amphibians, and many other animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me as well as relied on me to walk, bathe, feed, and take care of their pets. I am currently working at a PetSmart Pet Hotel. I work part-time, anywhere from 20-37 hours per week. I also take care of pets in my apartment building for my neighbors from time to time. I have reliable transportation to and from clients homes. I am good with all animals as well as all breeds of animals. I will give your fur baby lots of cuddles and I will make sure that they are happy.

14. Molly H.
About: I've been training and taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old! I have housetrained, crate trained, taken Canine Good Citizen and other obedience classes, and done several years of agility training with my dogs. If you have an active dog, we can go running, hiking, or for long walks around the neighborhood. If you have a couch potato, we can lounge all day! I currently have a five year old Dalmatian mix, Izzi, who loves making new friends! She is very friendly and easygoing, and would love playing with your dog. Izzi comes with me to housesit, so your dog will have a playmate the whole time. I work remotely 2-3 days a week and am available most weekends! My remote schedule is fairly flexible, especially if coordinated in advance, so if you need weekday sitting we can probably work something out! While I don’t have a fenced in yard, Izzi and I go for several walks each day, so your dog will get lots of exercise! My own dog suffered from severe separation anxiety when I adopted her two years ago. We are also working to get over her fear of the car. I know what it's like to be trapped in your house with an anxious dog! If your dog can't be left alone (or is delicate in other ways), let me know and I can make sure to stay with them the entire time. I can work with you to make your dog's experience the best possible! Please tell me any special behavioral or medical needs that your dog has.

15. Emma V.

“Emma went above and beyond when walking our puppy! You can tell she truly cares for your fur-child and does a wonderful job. She communicates well and even took the time to come meet him before his walk! Will definitely rebook and know that our Taco will love to see her again :)”

16. Ariel M.

“Was my first time using rover and Ariel was quick to respond and easy to communicate with which made it so easy and stress free! Maggie looked happier then ever and was well taken care of!”

17. Regan W.
“Regan and his family are all extreme animal lovers! He is responsible and trustworthy and his 2 daughters are so excited to help dad with your pets! I highly recommend him and his family to assist with anyone's pet care needs.”

18. Jordan H.
“Jordan is an animal-lover and an excellent pet caregiver. She cared for my dog Pepper when I was away on vacation. I felt so relieved that my sweet girl was being well taken care of and loved while I was gone. Jordan treats the pets in her care like they are her own. She gives each pet respect, love and attention. Jordan also has a background in veterinary medicine, working as a vet tech for multiple years, which put my mind at ease. I will certainly be asking Jordan to watch Pepper again and I would recommend her pet care-giving services to everyone!”

19. Kelly D.

“Kelly was absolutely fantastic with my pups! She dropped in to let them out and even took them on a walk. She sent multiple pictures and kept me updated the whole time. Will definitely book again, and highly recommend!!”

20. Alexandra G.
“Ali (Alexandra) has watched my Golden Retriever (Murphy) on multiple different occasions. As Golden Retrievers are one of the most "needy" & affectionate breeds, Ali made sure to continue that love and company that I give him at all times. Whether it was sticking to the feeding schedule, taking Murphy for walks, playing tug-o-war w/him, Ali did it all! I would recommend Ali to walk/watch any pet!”
