I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether that means walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications, potty breaks, or simply giving your pet some extra love and attention. I’m happy to send regular updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable knowing your furry friend is doing well while you’re away. I’ll also make sure to keep their space clean, give them plenty of attention and exercise, and make sure they feel safe and comfortable in my care. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own! I work from home every day as a full-time remote employee, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I can easily accommodate walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, and playtime, and I can even care for pets while their owners are at work. I live in a clean, comfortable apartment and have plenty of experience having my family dog come stay with me. I’m also a very active person who loves walking and running, so I’m happy to bring an energetic pup along for some exercise and adventure! When your pet stays with me, I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and at home! I’ll follow their normal feeding, potty, walking, and sleep routine as closely as possible and give them plenty of attention and playtime throughout the day. Since I work from home, your pet won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I’m also happy to take dogs on walks or runs if that fits their normal routine and energy level. My apartment is clean, comfortable, and pet-friendly, and I’ll make sure your pet has a calm space to relax. I’ll send regular updates and pictures so you can see how your furry friend is doing while they’re staying with me! Because I live in an apartment, I do require dogs staying in my home to be fully potty trained. 🤍

About: I have dog-sat numerous times since I was 8-10 years old and it's a job I genuinely find joy in doing! I have ALWAYS been such dog lover. I have had dogs all of my life and I am capable of caring for any and all dogs. Animals have always been a passion and being able to walk dogs, care for animals, play with them, and provide cuddles and love is something of a dream. To be able to help people when they need it just adds to the experience. I have a lot of free time and I am so excited to be a helping hand to any and all! Since I have a fairly open schedule and I am a pretty active individual, daily walks or runs would definitely be something I could do with your pup! It would be better to base my services out of my clientele’s home! I live in an upstairs duplex as a rental, so I would have to pay the pet fee to be able to do it out of my home.

About: Hi! I am a junior at GVSU studying Radiation Therapy. I have pet sat and dog walked for family and friends for years. I’ve taken care of dogs ranging from nervous chihuahuas to chunky Rottweilers! I’ve also cared for many cat personalities too. I’ve volunteered at West Michigan humane society in the cat and small animals department. I also have a love for reptiles and rodents. I currently have 2 five year old Guinea pig girls, and my roommate has a Russian tortoise! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, fostering and adopting dogs, taking in barn cats, a few pet fish, and having a leopard gecko for 10+ years. I have a lot of time available, and would love to assist your family! As a busy college student- I actually have plenty of time to stay in someone’s home as I can study! I have scheduled classes 10am-3pm Tues, Wed, and Noon-2pm Thurs. I can be flexible depending on your needs. When caring for an animal in a clients home I want to understand the animals personality, needs, and quirks. I love playing with animals, giving them affection, or just being in their presence. I make sure your pet/s have plenty bathroom breaks, constant clean water, fed at appropriate times, and feel loved. I’m happy to abide by oddly specific instructions, my own animals require some silly requests :-) Every animal has different levels of trust, and I am always patient to gain that trust and not expect it. Your pets won’t be bored or lonely, I’m happy to keep them entertained!

About: I’ve always loved dogs and make sure to give them the best care possible. I want to take care of them as if they were my own. During the week, I work full-time and don’t have a lunch break, but I’m typically available after 4:15–4:30 PM, and I’m off at 3:00 PM on Fridays. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, cuddles, or just a little extra company, I’m happy to help however I can. I make sure to always take dogs on walks, and give them extra care. I’m more than happy to sit outside with them (weather pending) and play or just hangout together.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

I don’t want to accept requests when I cannot give your dog the love they deserve. Thank you for your understanding! — I've been training and taking care of dogs since I was 11 years old! I have housetrained, crate trained, taken Canine Good Citizen and other obedience classes, and done several years of agility training with my dogs. If you have an active dog, we can go running, hiking, or for long walks around the neighborhood. If you have a couch potato, we can lounge all day! I currently have a five year old Dalmatian mix, Izzi, who loves making new friends! She is very friendly and easygoing, and would love playing with your dog. Izzi comes with me to housesit, so your dog will have a playmate the whole time. I work remotely 2-3 days a week and am available most weekends! My remote schedule is fairly flexible, especially if coordinated in advance, so if you need weekday sitting we can probably work something out! While I don’t have a fenced in yard, Izzi and I go for several walks each day, so your dog will get lots of exercise! My own dog suffered from severe separation anxiety when I adopted her two years ago. We are also working to get over her fear of the car. I know what it's like to be trapped in your house with an anxious dog! If your dog can't be left alone (or is delicate in other ways), let me know and I can make sure to stay with them the entire time. I can work with you to make your dog's experience the best possible! About: Pet Sitting Profile I’ve been around animals my entire life, and I’m always happiest when I get the chance to care for them! I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027. In the meantime, I’ll be staying with relatives, so pet sitting and house sitting feel like a great way for us to help each other. Thankfully, my parents will be helping care for him. which allows me to take on pet sitting and house sitting opportunities. My experience with animals goes well beyond dogs and cats. I’ve had two saltwater aquariums with fish, corals, anemones, and more, as well as a large freshwater aquarium that I maintained for years. Growing up, I also owned several reptiles and have experience helping care for chickens, ducks, and other animals.
