Information Emma V. would like to know about your pet

Please inform me of any special needs, medication, dietary restrictions, and behavioral triggers your pet may have before our first meeting. If you pet has specific command words please let me know the list and their uses, specifically the unusual ones and go ahead commands for eating. I do like to make frozen homemade treats with things such as chicken, peanut butter, and carrots so if you don't allow your pet any level of human food please let me know so I don't bring them into your house.

A typical day

I love to go on long walks, giving your dog the ability to stop and take in all the smells and lead the way in that way. This is one reason I like to switch up the walk routes so your dog can get as much mental stimulation by taking in many new smells. I fill the day with a constant mix of physical activity, mentally stimulating games, pets and affection, with an occasional treat after sitting politely on command. Playing hide-n-seek, hiding treats in different spots so they have sniff them out, utilizing all their toys, making homemade frozen treats, and adding in small training sessions are all tools I like to utilize throughout the day to use a wide variety of tricks to keep your pet entertained and well exercised throughout the day.

Pet care experience

I grew up always having a dog and would take her on walks around the neighborhood everyday. I also had two cats and I was in charge of feeding and changing their litter box. I love to be outside and am very active going on walks and frequent pet friendly parks. I have a natural caretaker personality and feel great fulfillment from doing so. Animals tend to gravitate to me as I have often been told I have a very calm demeanor. I promise to take care of your pet as if they were my own and will take cute pictures so you can be updated and feel close to your pet when you're away. I am open to dogs of all sizes, puppies, and cats. While I do not have certified training, I have taken it upon myself to learn training techniques and dog body language so I can better understand animals and their needs.

Emma was great with our dog, Blue! She was very responsive and reached out promptly with questions. Blue had a great weekend and came home exhausted from all the play. We received lots of pictures and updates throughout the weekend. Highly recommend Emma!

Emma was incredible! She stayed at our home with our pups for 2 1/2 weeks while we were out of the country. She provided great updates, kept our place tidy, and clearly took wonderful care of our dogs. Expectations were exceeded!
