About: Taking care of others has always been a passion of mine. Growing up as the oldest of four, I would watch younger siblings and our two cats and lab while my parents were away. As I got older, I started to take on more responsibility as a nanny, house sitter, and pet sitter. My experience includes working with puppies and kittens, senior dogs and cats, kittens, big dogs and little dogs, fish, and rodents. My responsibilities have ranged from over night care to occasional dog walks. When the time came for me to decide what career to pursue, I considered my love for taking care of others and animals - this is the reason I decided to become a teacher. With that being said, I need a summer gig that allows me to keep doing what I love! Thank you for considering me as your next house and pet sitter. As a teacher, I have summers off, so my schedule is relatively open outside of a bi weekly nannying gig, monthly cleaning job, and some vacations. Due to the flexibility of my schedule, I am available for overnight care, check ins with your pets every couple hours, or dog walks. Unfortunately, I am renting a home that does not allow pets, so I am unable to take animals back to my apartment place. With that being said, I will be visiting your home. I am a very cleanly, attentive, and communicative person! I assure you, your place will be cleaner than when you left it, and your animal will be happy and healthy.

About: I have more than 10 years experience working at dog daycares, grooming, and sitting/walking dogs of all breeds and temperaments. I am comfortable with administering medication both orally and injections. I've I am always trying to educate myself and others about reading dog behaviors and the best ways to react to situations. I am an artist by trade so my work hours are very flexible. If I'm sitting in your home, I will stick to your pet's normal routine as closely as possible to give them a sense or normalcy and comfort. My more than 10 years of experience have prepared me for almost any situation. I am a big proponent of safety first especially when it comes to your pets interacting with other animals, escape artists, and counter surfers getting into harmful things.

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!

About: I am an English teacher and I have summers off! Dogs or cats, or lizards! I would love to spend it with your furry friends! I can spend all day with your special friends! My apartment has a dog wash station, and a great walking space and with some trails! I have worked with large and small animals and I am able to walk and play with them all day! I love to cuddle them!

About: I provide care to cats and dogs of all sizes, behaviors, and medical needs. I'm not afraid of large animals, or grumpy ones. I have often been referred to as a dog whisperer and I think it's because I genuinely love connecting with animals. I'm a proud parent of a 12 year old pit bull named Roxanne and a 6 year old cat named Missy. They both get everything they want and are spoiled rotten. Roxanne requires special medical attention because of her degenerative disc disease, but she's still loving life! I'm available for weekend stays. I'm also available for drop in visits most days of the week. Any pets who would stay in my home need to get along with senior dogs and cats. I care for my pets with loads of attention and love. Having a pet who has special needs myself, I know what can be required of a pet parent in the hardest of times. There is no task too difficult and nothing I won't do to care for a pet in need.
