About: Hi! I am a 25 year old young professional. I grew up taking care of animals on my families farm. I am looking to get back into being able to care for animals and would love to meet your baby. I currently work full time but i have a flexible schedule and can work from home. i am currently available 4 days a week for walking and drop-ins. i can also be a pet sitter for your babies but since i am currently living in an apartment i prefer if its at your home as mine is small. I care for pets by providing a nice clean environment, taking them out to go to the bathroom one and hour, and going on plenty of long walks. I also own 4 cats who are all happy and healthy and deal with different feeding needs for each of them. with my extensive experience with dogs and cats and with caring for animals on my family farm i am very experienced and love animals of all kinds.

About: I am a teacher on summer break! I grew up surrounded by animals and am now a proud cat mom. I have wanted to be a vet for years since I was a kid, and my love for animals has grown since then. Even though my career path has changed to education, I have always gravitated to a job that brings me joy from people or animals. I have three family dogs and have helped my family train 2 puppies throughout high school. I also have grown up around cats and have one myself. I have experience carrying for dogs, walking, and raising them from my own home related experience with my own dogs. I love dogs and love hanging out with them indoors and outdoors. The same is true for cats! I have cat-sit many times in the past and grew up taking care of felines as well. I am very organized and reliable as a person and will 100% commit to a job. I currently teach but am flexible! I will be available on weekends and afternoons when the school year begins. I will have a very ppen schedule come summer break. My cat is very happy in her home. I try to give her the best food for her nutrition, a clean space, and plenty of things to engage with. She loves to play with her little mice and in her tunnel. I also often leave the blinds open so she can watch for birds or sunbathe. When she got sick, i ensured that she got the very best care and got her medicine on the exact timeline that was needed. I tracked her water and food intake as well as tracked her bowel movements.

About: Grew up with Saints Bernards & others, love my folks' new Havanese. Known as "the-dog-whisperer" at church. Worked a few years in a kennel. Must love dogs. Been a painter (every kind) 25 years. Band director for five. I see my folks' Havanese 2-3 times a week. Done dog-sitting, worked in a kennel. I love dogs. I'm honest -- I don't actually have a pet-friendly home. I would take them out or to my folks' who have a beautiful, large yard. I walk a lot -- I go by Cherry Park approximately three times every day. I'd love to have a canine companion when I do. I think I have dealt well with dogs that have had health emergencies -- one Retriever had a major brain hemorrhage, brought him to the ER immediately, & he lived another year. I have researched & prepared for everything I could find-- first aid, CPR, what to do with a difficult dog, what to do when an unleashed dog approaches, how to administer oral & injection medication, dog-walking, dog-bathing, clothes-washing, spare leash, treats, towel, poo bags... I think & look ahead, & prepare for everything. I love dogs.

About: I’ve been a dog owner and surrounded by dogs all my life! I love animals and spending time outside, so pet sitting has always been something I’ve loved doing! I do overnight stays as well as day-to-day visits! I hope to sit for your pet soon! I currently am working part-time, and have lots of open availability to watch your animals! I’m a student at GRCC, however I only have 3 classes in person a week, and they’re short in the morning. I’m very flexible and will be able to give your pets all the attention they need! I follow the rules and requirements for a sitter that the home/pet owners enforce! I love and play with any and all dogs, and will keep the home as I found it (or better)!

About: I seem to be a magnet for anxious dogs and cats! Both my senior cat and adolescent dog have behavioral issues/anxiety, and while it has its challenges, I find bonding with these guys can be the most rewarding experience. Between slow, gentle movements, not rushing a bond, and having lots of treats on hand, I've learned that "difficult" personalities don't always have to be so hard. I work 8-5 on weekdays, with Mondays and Fridays being working-from-home days. I can easily incorporate lunch-time and evening visits into my schedule during the week with open availability on weekends. After adopting an anxious/reactive dog, my partner and I have invested countless hours into a training program that works for us. Through this experience, I've learned the power of positive reinforcement, consent for touch, and patience even when it's the most difficult to find it. I'm a huge believer in redirecting unwanted behavior rather than punishment of any kind. Love and respect is the driving force behind all of my interactions with animals!
