Hello! I am a 32 year old dog enthusiast! As an adult with Autism, connecting with Pets has been incredibly natural and rewarding! I have been a dog-parent for four years. I have also helped care for my wife’s senior childhood dog. My wife has 10+ years experience as a Client Care Representative in Veterinary Medicine. I have a passion for dog walking, dog obedience training and dog adventures (like hiking and paddle boarding). I have a flexible work schedule (WFH 3x/week) and would love to be the one you trust to care for your lovely pets! I am a rule follower, reliable and dedicated to the wellbeing and happiness of all animals.

Safety, trust & environment
I strictly adhere to your care standards — I can take your pets on walks, play with them outside, or however your pup likes to engage most! I can crate upon leaving, etc. My dog also has his own bedroom, with a toddler bed, which has been “baby-proofed”, if you prefer a controlled space bigger than a crate. I have a fenced in backyard, as well.
Ratings and reviews
Mariah is great! She was able to take in our boy with a very last minute request. In my haste and stressful moment, I forgot to bring my boy’s food and toys, luckily Mariah was able to accommodate with it all and provided the right meals for him. Her own dog, Reggie, quickly became Mochi’s best friend. She sent pictures throughout the day. We will continue to ask for Mariah’s help with boarding Mochi whenever we need someone we can trust.
Mariah was great on short notice and was awesome with Hobbes!

Schedule
I work from home Monday, Thursday and Friday so I am available for drop in dog walks. I have availability on weekends as well. On Tuesday and Thursday, I am available in the morning and the evenings. I have job flexibility during the day, so I can make most times work depending on the day.

- I am happy to work with all breeds and sizes. I have experience with breeds ranging from poodles and doodles to pit bulls to chihuahuas. Let me know ahead of time if your dog has any behaviors to be aware of like reactivity, digging, chewing/ eating inedible things, etc.
