About: I've pet sat on and off for neighbors since I was a kid and grew up with dogs and cats in my own home. My childhood dog was the sweetest pitbull so I don't have any preconceived notions about any breed I love them all! I'm currently in real estate photography so I do shoots on and off during the day so if planned I can do stop ins and walks throughout the day. But for longer pet care I can do overnights on weekends. I'm very gentle with all animals but I also know how to handle difficult situations very well. It's very important for a pet owner to know how to deal with aggression/fights, sickness, running from the house, etc. and I've dealt with all of this and more.

I make sure that they get lots of love and playtime when I'm with them and any other requests by the owners. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. I am a college student so I have a very flexible schedule! With my classes, there is plenty of time for me to spend time with your furry friends and give them all the love they deserve while you are gone! When at your home, I'll make sure that your pet(s) gets fed on time, takes long walks, is let out when needed, and gets plenty of time to play. About: At a young age, I began to understand and care for our pets and those of friends and family members. I’ve learned how to be patient, kind, and active in order to provide the best care for dogs of various ages and sizes. Living in an apartment now post college, I’ve quickly realized how much I miss the joy and love a dog can bring. I would be incredibly honored to care and provide the most love to your furry family members! I do have a hybrid work schedule but it does come with flexibility to work around any at home requirements. I’ll typically be out of town Monday through Thursday, and have Friday through Sunday available at home. If given enough advance notice, I can manage my schedule to fit around your pets schedule. My work events can change weekly, so planning ahead of time is essential. When I’m not on the road, I work from home and have the ability to care for pets around the clock. My apartment complex is pet friendly, and there are many dogs that live throughout the building. There is an open grass area where many of them do their business, but I do prefer to walk around the block to give your dog more to sniff and space to choose where they’d like to “go”. There are also many local parks that I enjoy going to for little adventures! Since I will likely be working from home while caring for your pet, I will be able to provide 24 hour care and understand their needs throughout the day. Over the weekends, this will also be provided, as I typically stay home and go out around the area locally only.

Familiar with dog body language and behavior. ‘B’ level volunteer at Mackenzie’s Animal Sanctuary. 6+ years experience with shy/anxious dogs, leash/gate/door manners, desensitization, muzzle, and crate training. April thru October 2026: I am available after 3pm on weekdays, and all-day/overnight most weekends. Lunchtime drop-ins available for returning clients near Garfield Park on a case-by-case basis. I work to build animal relationships based on trust, leadership, and consistency. I wait for animals to ask for attention, give them time/space to make choices, investigate new things, and use positive reinforcement to promote good/responsive behavior.

They were very accommodating, and facilitated a meet-up beforehand, so that Theo could get comfortable with them and their space before his stay. When I dropped him off, he didn’t even look back! About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.
