“Our sweet doodles absolutely love Brian! We were so grateful to have Brian step in for a few last-minute drop-ins for our dogs. He was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced in handling dogs with care and attention. Knowing our dogs were in good hands gave us such peace of mind. We appreciated the updates and the extra effort he put into making sure they were comfortable and happy. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and dependable to care for your pets, we highly recommend Brian!”

“Our German Shepherd loves Kelsey! Anytime I’m out of town for work she lets him out for potty and play. I love getting photos and she is always responsive and on time. Thanks Kelsey!”

“This was the second time having Tyler check in on our kitties! He did a great job making sure their food and water were full and the cat litters were scooped. I loved receiving the photos of the cats while we were away! We will continue to have him check in on the cats in the future!”

“This was our first time using Rover & we were very pleased! Our pup can be a lot of work, but Suzanne took great care of her. Very kind. Attentive. Lots of pics, which put me @ ease being gone for the day :)”

“The dictionary defines the word remarkable as, worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary. However Willow and I define it as Katherine. She is good with keeping you updated, time management of walk to playtime, and her pictures of your pup will leave you with a smile!!”

“Maelee is very detailed, thorough, communicative, and knowledgeable. She arrived on time for each drop in visit, kept us very informed each time, and made sure our kitties were taken care of before she left. Will absolutely hire again!”

“I had a great experience with our McKenzie! She dropped in to spend time with my puppy Barrett, and it was clear right away how comfortable and natural she is with dogs. She gave my pup plenty of attention, playtime, and care, which made a big difference in keeping him happy and stimulated while we were away. She was reliable and communicative! The best Rover experience I’ve had. I had peace of mind knowing Barrett was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her routinely again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs.”

“Sara did a terrific job checking in on our pets. She was very communicative and made the whole process extremely easy for us. I would definitely recommend Sara to anyone else looking for someone to care for their pets while they are unavailable.”

“I can't believe how lucky I got when I asked Hollie to take care of my pets a few months ago. I have now booked her for 3 occasions, 2 overnights, and 1 drop in. She will forever be my first pick.”

“Taylor did a great job making sure that Willie was taken care of while we were away for Christmas. She was very accommodating to our last minute booking and we are so grateful for her”

About: Hey there, I'm Megan! My very first experience with dogs began back in 7th grade - my family brought home my first dog, a German Shepherd. I had been designated as the trainer of the new puppy, but none of us knew what we were in for. Ellie, my GSD, developed fear-reactivity to just about everything. I started working closely with a professional trainer, Nikki Welch (Dream Dogs Training). Ellie sent me headfirst into the world of dog training, reactivity, and aggression, which very quickly became a thrilling new interest. I started working for Nikki during the summers, first running play groups during playcare and eventually training puppies. Working under Nikki provided me extensive experience with a wide range of dogs, from puppies to adults, toy Poodles to German Shepherds, performing a vast array of tasks. Additionally, I spent two weeks in January 2023 interning at A Pleasant Dog, honing my skills with reactive dogs and furthering my knowledge about training dogs with positive and ethical methods. Most recently, I attended Chicken Camp in June 2025 through Teamworks Dog Training in North Carolina. It was an amazing experience working with a completely different species; I strongly improved my training skills by putting my previous experiences into practice and learning new methods. Discussing a wide variety of training topics with experts like Michele Godlevski (Teamworks Dog Training) and Lisa Triggs (Alliance Animal Training) opened the door for me to learn more about cooperative care, positive reinforcement training, behavior modification, and dog sports on a deeper level, while simultaneously enhancing my professional communication skills. I am comfortable working through any anxieties your dog might have -- yes, that includes reactivity! -- and would be happy to answer any questions I can about your dog's training and/or behavior. Spending time with dogs and getting to know each individual is a treat, and I look forward to meeting your special pup! I'm a local college student, so my schedule varies each weekday. I am typically be available for drop-ins and walks after 4:30pm on weekdays and Fridays 8am-11am, 1-5pm. Weekends vary, but generally I am able to take requests after 2pm Saturdays and before 5pm Sundays. Feel free to send me a message to ask for specific availability! I'm very familiar with the Grand Rapids area, local walking paths, and parks. My experience working with reactive dogs has made me very confident in my ability to be aware of my surroundings and keep your pup safe, whether on a walk or hanging out in the backyard.
About: I’ve owned pets my whole life, worked at my local animal shelter, and own my own rescue pup. She has taught me the biggest lesson on care and compassion! I’ve cared for senior dogs and new puppies. I am very active and like to keep myself and my pets entertained! I am a school psychotherapist with a very flexible schedule and summers off :) I like to stay busy, so I try to take on fun side quests when possible! I have a fenced in backyard, I live in a very safe, pet-loving, neighborhood, and my own dog to keep your pets entertained! With my own pet in mind, I would not put either animal in an unsafe position.
“Cats were fed, pet, and happy. Loved getting the photos with the report, and she even cleaned up a few messes with no complaints! Thank you so much!”

“Daniel is phenomenal there are no other words to describe him. Our pup absolutely loves him and Daniel does so much for him during their visits. I highly recommend him for any of your sitting needs.”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since childhood. My friends, family, and co-workers have trusted me to care for their fur babies! I have a senior pittie with reactive/aggressive behavior, so I do have experience and empathy towards that! I work full time Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm but can drop in after work or later in the evening as well. Friday-Sunday are my more flexible days! I fully respect the owner’s schedule for their pet and will follow whatever instructions are needed to ensure your pet is safe and cared for properly. I would ask the same for my own!

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.
“Couldn’t be happier with the way Holly handled the drop-in visits for our dogs. She shared photos and updates after each visit and it was very comforting. I could tell the dogs enjoyed her visits. Would absolutely book again!”

Booking with Kelsey & Forrest to take care of my cat was such a great experience! They were very communicative, sent pictures and videos of my cat, provided updates, and took very good care of my girl 🐱. This was my first experience with Rover and it was very pleasant. If you want someone that’ll take care of your pet like their own, don’t hesitate to book Kelsey & Forrest. I will definitely book them again in the future :)

I always trust Taylor to take care of my girls while I'm gone, especially since one of them has asthma and is extremely anxious. She has very good availability, responds quickly, and I can tell my cats have been well cared for and loved while I'm gone and are very relaxed when I come home. She has a way with shy cats and somehow manages to get the best photos of my shy, anxious cat for the report cards (better than anything I can get).

Natalie was a godsend! Our kitty is very shy and does not approach easily, but she took to Natalie right away. Natalie was also very communicative with sharing updates & photos, which we greatly appreciated. Highly recommend, and would gladly welcome her back.
