15. Sara S.
“Sara has been involved with many pets, growing up with a Brittany Spaniel and a part lab/dalmation as a baby, then having Corgis and a Pomeranian throughout her childhood. Sara has had many cats in her lifetime and has a wonderful sense of humor when working with animals. Sara was an active 4-H member in Kalamazoo County who raised rabbits, pocket pets and also placed highly in Dog Obedience and Dog Showmanship. Sara also has been a dog sitter for our 65 pound German Shephard on several occasions while we've travelled. I’d highly recommend her!”

About: I grew up with outside pets...cats and dogs, and really have a love for animals. Of course, we know that animals can sense if someone is good, or not so great. ;) Most all animals love me! For the last 2 years, I've been with a family that has 4 dogs and 5 cats...inside animals. I'm like their "aunt", when I come to stay! :) I'm really mostly looking for long weekends or vacation times, to where I would stay at your house, with the pets. I also could travel with you and pets, if needed. I would be open to what ever owner needs or wants. Mainly, making sure pets are fed on time or close to on their time, play or activity in the day, walked or let outside for bathroom breaks, etc.

About: I have had my pitbull since he was nine months, and we rescued him from Texas. At the very beginning, he was very scared and he was always shaking. He was also full of fleas and was very dirty but as soon as we got him home, we were able to clean him up without an issue and he knew that he knew that he was going to be taken care of and It was almost as he knew that we were going to care for him as if he was one of our own because now he is one of our own. Ever since we got him, I was the one left in charge to take care of him because everybody knew that no matter what he was going to be taken out to potty to have eaten at the right times and that he would always have lots of playtime. He is a very playful and energetic dog so he loves to run around. I also own a cat who loves to run around sometimes, but he likes to lay down a lot and he loves to snuggle and if there are any accommodations a pet needs that is some thing that I am more than okay with working around. I believe that pets need the best care possible and aren’t just animals, I feel like they are a part of a family and they should always be treated like a part of a family. I’m currently a full-time student and a part-time Employee at FedEx, but I am free anytime Friday or Saturday and Sunday and I can also do mornings on Tuesdays, If we need to fit something else in, we can definitely find something to work it out. I treat Pets with respect because they deserve that as well. And I am always willing to accommodate their needs if there are any needed. I love to play with them because it makes me happy seeing them happy even if they just lay down I would enjoy to be around them.
