And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. “A wonderful experience! We were nervous as this was our first time boarding our dog, but at the meet and greet Jacob had each of his dogs meet ours one on one. The dogs all got along, and I think ours was excited to have other dogs to play with! She was with them for three nights, and was well cared for. She came home happy and healthy - it is such a relief knowing we have a future resource for times we can’t bring her with us, and it was so nice knowing she was in a home with a big fenced backyard, instead of in a kennel. About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. I let my dogs on the couches and beds and they have free reign of the house

About: I'd love to walk your dog and give them the love they deserve! I have experience pet sitting and walking, as well as riding and training horses growing up. I also love to run and would be happy to run with your dog if they need to get more energy out! Currently, evenings work best for me. Walks anytime after 5:30 should be fine on weekdays, and I am more flexible on weekends- I can often do walks in the afternoon as well. I am not able to provide pet day care right now. I would love to walk dogs, but can not take them into my home.
About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.

About: I’ve had cats in my life since the day I was born. We had 7 family cats in my lifetime and I adopted two of my own, Ringo and Starr, in 2015. Starr passed away in 2022 and dealt with health issues in the last few years of her life, so I have experience dealing with administering medication, adhering to special diets and caring for sick or aging cats. I’ve also routinely cat-sit for cats with medical conditions such as seizures, urinary tract issues, diabetes and cerebellar hypoplasia. I don’t mind claws or hissing and will love your cat regardless of temperament. I will also never leave your litterbox un-scooped! About: I've taken care of my dog and family and friends dogs for many years. I even volunteered in an animal shelter for awhile as well! I currently run a small handmade business from my space. I do work a part-time service job a couple days of the week in a restaurant right now as well. Aside from dog sitting that's what I do financially. I spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, we like to run, play fetch, chase squirrels, and spend time treat training. I make sure a walk and quality time are prioritys with animals. About: I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant/technician at a facility that offered boarding, where I became kennel manager. I'm confident working with seniors, medical cases, behavorial cases, and puppies. For all weekend drop-ins, my partner Alex will be accompanying me. I will be doing all pet care, but for my safety he'll be accompanying me. He'll be there to provide a little extra affection and play-time for your pets if they're interested. My schedule is open! I am a stay st home wife so I'll be able to devote plenty of time to your pets. I will have my partner, Alex, accompany me to all first visits for safety. He will also accompany me on any weekend drop ins. All pet care will be done by me, but Alex will give them a little extra love when applicable. About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.
About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! I have a fenced in yard and a “puppy pool” for those hot days! I’m moving back to Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 15, and I’m hoping to buy a home in the summer of 2027.
