“SO so grateful to have found both Jacob and his wife through Rover - I think I suffer from far worse separation anxiety being away from my dog than she does being away from me (?) however, after meeting these two and their own four rescue dogs during a pre-boarding meet and greet, I had absolutely no worries that she would be in great hands. They were both SO kind, communicative, and welcoming. Their genuine compassion and love for dogs was immediately obvious, as was the fact that they both possess thorough knowledge of canine care and behavior. About: Hi there! My fiancé and I moved to Grand Rapids in the summer of 2025 for his orthopedic surgery residency with Corewell Health. I previously pet sit for families back in Wisconsin, and am looking to get back into it now that I work remotely! We will be living here for the next 5 years and I would love to become your pet's go-to buddy when you travel or just need someone to hang out with your pup! We do not have any dogs, all the photos in my profile were/are my parents. I work from home full time (Monday - Friday), so I will always be home with your pup! I love to walk and be outdoors anytime of year. Happy to accommodate any schedule that your dog is used to for potty breaks / eating / walking! I will follow whatever rules you have for your dog in my home, as you do in yours. I work form home all day so I can always keep an eye on them!

Pam is AMAZING!!! She is truly an animal lover and took such great care of our Puggy. Pam sent photos and videos throughout the day so that we could see how much fun our Pug was having with her and her dogs. Pam spent a lot of time with Puggy in her lap and also allowed him to snuggle up in bed while sleeping. What a blessing to have Pam so that when we travel we know our Puggy gets to have a wonderful vacation too! Pam is so sweet & so great about communicating. We used Hannah for an overnight stay for our dog Willow. She was welcoming and made our dog comfortable right away, and sent some photos to update us on how she was doing. Willow was happy when we got her the next day. I would definitely recommend her to friends, and hope to use her again in the future.
Haley was fantastic! She was super quick to respond both before we dropped off our dog and while we were away. Our pup, who normally is too anxious to eat while we are away from home, ate all his meals when he was with her which I think speaks volumes to how comfortable he felt! We highly recommend Haley!
Angie and her family have watched my dog a couple of times, and it’s very clear she and the kids give him all the attention and care he needs. During our most recent stay, we had a snow storm, that delayed our pick up, and Angie was understanding and responsive. Thanks Angie!
This was the second time our dog stayed with Emily and once again, we are so happy with the care she provided. Daily updates including pictures and videos were awesome!
