“Taylor was a lifesaver in helping me with my two dogs while my partner was out of town. She was very communicative, punctual and friendly. I would highly recommend Taylor to anyone for care & will book her in the future when needed.”

“I left my dog, Theo, with Kelsey and Forrest for a few hours, and definitely plan on using them again in the future! They were very accommodating, and facilitated a meet-up beforehand, so that Theo could get comfortable with them and their space before his stay. When I dropped him off, he didn’t even look back! Kelsey and Forrest are very trustworthy and obviously animal lovers.”

About: I have experience taking care of a variety of animals since age 5. From dogs to cats to lizards to horses to Guinea pigs to birds and more! Whatever your animal throws at me I’ve probably seen before. I’m a recent college graduate looking to lean more into my art so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your precious fur baby! I’ve dealt with a variety of animals with a variety of temperaments, needs, and personalities. I believe it’s important to read an animals body language to make them feel comfortable and confident with their caregiver.
“Holly was awesome with Luna and helped me out on short notice! She was reliable and provided me with great updates so I knew my fur baby was doing OK while I was away.”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and am comfortable caring for both dogs and cats. I’m attentive, reliable, and make sure pets are well cared for while their owners are away. I work full time but am willing to help in the evenings (5-10pm) and anytime on the weekends! I don't have a busy schedule outside of work. I care for dogs by following their routine, providing attention, comfort, and companionship, keeping them happy and safe, and am experienced in giving medications if needed.
“Melissa did a great job with my frail elderly dog and two cats. She was super conscientious, thorough, and communicated well. I will definitely call again next time I go out of town. Thanks, Melissa!”

“Molly did an awesome job watching Ivy! She was very communicative, reliable, and clearly an animal lover. Looking forward to having her back in the future for more drop ins ?”

“Brian was very easy to work with and did a great job. He did a meet and greet with our dogs beforehand to make sure they had his scent before the visit. This was our first time using rover and we really appreciated him for making the whole process a lot less worrying.”

“We had Broooke check in on our 3 cats while we were on vacation. This was our first time using Rover and I was pretty anxious about having someone we don’t know do this. Brooke turned out to be very reliable and did a great job with her daily check-ins and pictures. Our cats are pretty incognito with strangers, so she really worked hard to get pictures! 😊 We appreciate all she did and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Brooke again.”

“Abigail was great, she responded quickly and was able to take a last minute booking. She sent tons of cute photos during her time with my pup which was much appreciated. Would book again!”

“Lauren was a fantastic sitter for my two anxious cats. She took time to come over and meet us before I left & asked great questions to make sure she understood everything. I appreciated her photos & update and returned to 2 happy cats. Thank you Lauren!”

“Abby is the absolute best! My puppy adores her and she’s great with response time! I can honestly say I fully trust her with my pup and I am so thankful. Thank you, Abby!”

About: Hey there, I'm Megan! My very first experience with dogs began back in 7th grade - my family brought home my first dog, a German Shepherd. I had been designated as the trainer of the new puppy, but none of us knew what we were in for. Ellie, my GSD, developed fear-reactivity to just about everything. I started working closely with a professional trainer, Nikki Welch (Dream Dogs Training). Ellie sent me headfirst into the world of dog training, reactivity, and aggression, which very quickly became a thrilling new interest. I started working for Nikki during the summers, first running play groups during playcare and eventually training puppies. Working under Nikki provided me extensive experience with a wide range of dogs, from puppies to adults, toy Poodles to German Shepherds, performing a vast array of tasks. Additionally, I spent two weeks in January 2023 interning at A Pleasant Dog, honing my skills with reactive dogs and furthering my knowledge about training dogs with positive and ethical methods. Most recently, I attended Chicken Camp in June 2025 through Teamworks Dog Training in North Carolina. It was an amazing experience working with a completely different species; I strongly improved my training skills by putting my previous experiences into practice and learning new methods. Discussing a wide variety of training topics with experts like Michele Godlevski (Teamworks Dog Training) and Lisa Triggs (Alliance Animal Training) opened the door for me to learn more about cooperative care, positive reinforcement training, behavior modification, and dog sports on a deeper level, while simultaneously enhancing my professional communication skills. I am comfortable working through any anxieties your dog might have -- yes, that includes reactivity! -- and would be happy to answer any questions I can about your dog's training and/or behavior. Spending time with dogs and getting to know each individual is a treat, and I look forward to meeting your special pup! I'm a local college student, so my schedule varies each weekday. I am typically be available for drop-ins and walks after 4:30pm on weekdays and Fridays 8am-5pm. Weekends vary, but generally I am able to take requests after 2pm Saturdays and before 5pm Sundays. Feel free to send me a message to ask for specific availability! I'm very familiar with the Grand Rapids area, local walking paths, and parks. My experience working with reactive dogs has made me very confident in my ability to be aware of my surroundings and keep your pup safe, whether on a walk or hanging out in the backyard.
“The dictionary defines the word remarkable as, worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary. However Willow and I define it as Katherine. She is good with keeping you updated, time management of walk to playtime, and her pictures of your pup will leave you with a smile!!”

“Claire did a wonderful job checking in on our kitty everyday. She provided pictures as well as updates which we really appreciated! We would definitely book her again! Thank you so much Claire!”

“Kaitlin goes above and beyond to take care of our pets. She is extremely communicative and trustworthy, and she does an amazing job. We feel so comfortable having her come take care of our pets for us while we are away and she makes the process so smooth and easy. Would highly recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve been around cats and dogs since childhood. My friends, family, and co-workers have trusted me to care for their fur babies! I have a senior pittie with reactive/aggressive behavior, so I do have experience and empathy towards that! I work full time Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm but can drop in after work or later in the evening as well. Friday-Sunday are my more flexible days! I fully respect the owner’s schedule for their pet and will follow whatever instructions are needed to ensure your pet is safe and cared for properly. I would ask the same for my own!
About: I grew up with multiple pets my whole life, with most being medium to large dogs of various breeds. I have 15 solid years of experience with dogs, some cats, and other animals. I am an animal lover at heart, and I am looking for work to give back and care for animals in the community! I am currently in a transition between jobs and am aiming to work remote in the future. I can fit care into a flexible schedule. I aim to communicate effectively with each client before going forward with a service to best meet their needs and the needs of their pet!
