“Donna is an excellent sitter!! I can tell that my dog is excited when we pull up in the driveway and when I come to pick him up. We have made Donna our go to sitter and use her services a couple times a week!”

“Joshua is awesome with my puppy! His own dogs are great with other dogs and are very patient with my pup. He seems to do well with training too, all positive reinforcement. Very happy with him!”

About: I have had large dogs (akitas) since I was a child and have always loved dogs. I own a 6 year old pitbull who loves dogs just as much :) I work full time but spend all my free time with my dog so I'll enjoy your pup too. They will enjoy the fenced in back yard and dog park visits. I have a large home and a fenced in back yard that the dogs can enjoy. My dog always enjoy playing and making new friends I am currently laid off for winter break and am free everyday until the end of January. I am available for all service and will update profile once my break is over. I like to keep the dogs entertained either through playing tug of war, treat training or taking them on leisure walks throughout the neighborhood or parks.

About: Hi there! My fiancé and I moved to Grand Rapids in the summer of 2025 for his orthopedic surgery residency with Corewell Health. I previously pet sit for families back in Wisconsin, and am looking to get back into it now that I work remotely! We will be living here for the next 5 years and I would love to become your pet's go-to buddy when you travel or just need someone to hang out with your pup! We do not have any dogs, all the photos in my profile were/are my parents! I work from home full time (Monday - Friday), so I will always be home with your pup! I love to walk and be outdoors anytime of year. Happy to accommodate any schedule that your dog is used to for potty breaks / eating / walking! If you live near EGR, I'm also happy to come pick up your pet to watch for the day. I will follow whatever rules you have for your dog in my home, as you do in yours. I work form home all day so I can always keep an eye on them!
“Ashley is so wonderful to work with! Potato trusts and loves her already! I’m glad that Ashley’s dogs, Stella and Josie, help to tore my pup out! I also really appreciate the strong communication and all of the photos!”

“Remi did a great job caring for Duckie! She had lots of updates and pictures. She took him on a long walk and gave him lots of snuggles. I will definitely be booking with Remi again:)”

“Lauren is very friendly and made us feel comfortable right away leaving Daryl in her care for the day. She happily accommodated his needs due to his medication. Daryl made himself right at home and was a happy pup when we picked him up.”

“Susan has been a fabulous fit for our pups and our needs. She is a true animal lover, has a big fenced back yard where the dogs can frequently run and play, and she treats each dog like her own. Having my pups stay with Susan is like having them experience a trip to a “grandma’s” house, of sorts. They definitely get loved on!”

About: Hi I am Melvin, and I live with my partner Sean. I have loved dogs my entire life and wanted to dedicate my career to caring for them when they and their pet parents are in need. I have 5 years of caring experiences, and it has been a huge blessing in my life. My 3 dogs are all super loveable and like making new friends! With this service, I want to treat every dog like they are at home. Every dog is given a chance here, and so far my dogs have made over 250 friends! Our pet care routine that we are currently doing with our dogs and the dogs I watch occasionally has been ingrained upon on both of our schedules. Rarely does my partner and I skip or alter the pet care routine. We have a pretty tall fenced in backyard. Our three dogs love to play and get zoomies out there. We always introduce dogs slowly to the group with a meet and greet first, and dogs that need that special attention will always get it, and then some.
“Marina was super flexible with us and our schedule, which we really appreciated! She also was very patient and understanding with my anxious dog. She provided a great, comfortable environment for me and we will definitely use her again in the future!”

“This was the first time using someone to watch my 5 mo old puppy. So glad to have found Linda! Grace was well taken care of and came home exhausted after a day of play.”

About: I have lived with dogs my entire life. I have fostered and adopted a special needs senior aussie cattle dog that has passed on and wish to help out fellow dog owners who need help with the daily routine or need a getaway! I am also available twenty four hours on the weekends to board. There are currently no other animals living on the property. I do not currently have a fenced in backyard but have two acres and a city park behind the property available for leashed walks!

Heritage Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Joshua was a great sitter for my dog Blu. He was very communicative throughout the day, and responded very quickly whenever I’d reach out. I felt very reassured that Blu was in good hands whenever he was with Joshua. Joshua was also very kind and understanding with last minute changes in my drop off and pickup times. I would absolutely rebook with Joshua and recommend him as a dog sitter.
