“Pocket absolutely loved his first visit at Kristopher's. Our 6 year old Bernedoodle had a blast running around and hanging with a new bestie he just met. Kristopher's update during the day was reassuring and extremely encouraging. Leaving Pocket with a none family member is a new experience for us. So grateful for Kristopher and the gang. Now we can look forward to taking that long vacation in a few weeks. Pocket will be spoiled at Kristopher's veritable doggie resort!!!”

About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.

“Great experience so far with Jacy. Our usual sitter was unavailable for boarding for the weekend we needed so we went looking for someone else. I'm always on the fence with new pet sitters as we had a terrible experience previously with someone else on Rover. Jacy put me at ease the moment we walked through her door for our meet and greet. I could tell immediately she truly cares for animals and it isn't just about making extra income. She uses an intake form to get all of the necessary details she needs to provide the best care for your pets. My Aussie is very anxious so she suggested doing a daycare day just so she could sniff around and get familiar with her home and the other animals there before she stays for the weekend. She had a great day! Jacy provided updates and pictures through out the day and it was clear Luna was having a great time. I'm sure her weekend stay will go great and we're so happy to have found Jacy!”

“I’ve been having my puppy stay with Daniel and his wife periodically throughout the week for the past month. First and foremost, Daniel is very flexible and understanding of my sometimes unpredictable work schedule. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! This makes me feel like Hugo is having fun and is getting good attention while at doggy daycare. It’s very comforting knowing that Hugo has such a good place to spend his days when I’m at work.”

About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.

“Paige and Matthew were so so amazing to my boyfriend and i as well as our ollie! i seriously can’t say enough great things about them, we set up a meet and great which made me (a first time rover mom) feel so much better about seeing how he would interact there. they were SO flexible with pickup and drop off times as my boyfriend is a farmer and gets out of work at different times and whatnot. Paige was super responsive to my messages and sent pictures and videos often to keep me happy! ollie got training while he stayed with them and was less mouthy (puppy teething)! again i cannot say enough good things about them, they loved ollie like he was their own. we will most definitely be booking with them again to take care of our puppy! best rover sitters out there.”

I have plenty of references to back up any recommendation that you made need. My last pet was a puppy named Bella that I provided care for. I watch her 30 hours a week and helped potty train her. I loved her as if she was my own. I was Gramma Lisa to her and we formed a special bond which I do with all the pets I watch. I have had dogs in my life since I was young. I tell my friends that I will know I am heaven when I see my past dogs around me.

“Susan has been a fabulous fit for our pups and our needs. She is a true animal lover, has a big fenced back yard where the dogs can frequently run and play, and she treats each dog like her own. Having my pups stay with Susan is like having them experience a trip to a “grandma’s” house, of sorts. They definitely get loved on!”
