Not knowing how our dogs would do as a first time away from us with non-family, there was a lot of anxiety on our side and it all was put to rest with videos and pictures of our pups having a great time there! There’s no doubt our dogs have some quirks but Dan and Kelly took amazing care of them and made them/us feel very welcome! About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule and I can have dogs at my work. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. Working in the health field, it’s comforting knowing that Hugo will be taken care of even if my days are longer than expected. There was one instance where I ended up working well into the night and Daniel was able to keep Hugo overnight. A huge help! Second, I enjoy the fact that Hugo is able to play with other dogs and interact with their dog parents throughout the day. I think this gives him good interaction and good socialization to help him as he gets older. Finally, Hugo is always so excited to see Daniel in the morning! Your pet will get the attention and safety he/she needs and will be treated no different than our own. Our work hours are flexible and we prioritize our walks with our pet so it will be the same as others. This allows my schedule to be flexible and provide your pet with frequent bathroom breaks, outside time, walks, and play time! Your pet will be welcomed into my home and treated like a family pet during their stay! Pets are allowed on furniture, but I request that they not sleep on the bed. I have beds that I can provide for them as an alternative sleeping area. My yard is fenced in for ease of bathroom breaks and time spent outside, but will likely be accompanied by me as I will likely be home during the majority of your pets stay. If your pet tends to get curious when left alone, I ask that you provide a crate for them to be put in when I have to run out of the house during your pets stay. Jenn meet us at the front door and took the dogs immediately out the back to the yard to aid in our escape. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, currently have a rescue that is a Cur/Dalmatian mix. I fostered a German Shepherd and just found him his forever home! My previous pup was a pure bred red-nose pit! I work from home so am available for all needs! And yes, my dog does sleep on my bed! Lots of outdoor toys to tire them out! About: I've had one or more dogs in my life since I was 6 years old. I currently have a senior red heeler that I rescued 8 years ago. Not only have I grown up taking care of my own dogs, as an adult I dog sit quite regularly for friends. I do work from home, which affords me the opportunity to take breaks to interact with and toilet my heeler and any other dog we have visiting, on their schedules. I work from home, so Monday thru Friday, I rarely leave my home, except to take the dog for walks. I may go away in the evenings, during the week, for a couple hours, but that's rare. I do tend to be more active on the weekends, doing my grocery shopping and running other errands, as well church on Sundays, and an occasional brunch. I do have a fenced in back yard as well as a senior red heeler (as stated earlier). My heeler doesn't really pay much attention to other dogs, and seems to prefer the company of humans. That being said, he gets along great with other dogs.
