Alexis does have a large dog, who is an absolute sweetheart. Her dog is very gentle with Cricket. Most large dogs are too rough with Cricket, so she is pretty skittish with large dogs. However, Alexis' dog has become Cricket's best friend, and they enjoy playing in her backyard. I highly recommend Alexis!”

About: I grew up in a house full of Yorkies, helping to care for them from birth through adulthood. I've been a veterinary assistant for the past 2.5 years, which has only strengthened my love and empathy for pets. At work, I typically care for hospitalized patients recovering from surgery or receiving care for a major illness. I love building a bond with my patients and taking care of them during such a scary and stressful time. My workplace puts a large emphasis on fear-free handling, which has given me so many tools to identify the emotional state of pets and how to interact with them to keep them comfortable and happy. I work full-time overnights. I typically have 3-4 days off a week where I would be available for pet sitting. I have one cat at home who does not require constant monitoring. One of my favorite activities is making up little songs for my own cat and my patients. I will likely be unable to stop myself from singing to your pets, unless they give me a clear indication that the singing is terrible and must stop. I'm comfortable with most harnesses and leashes, but I do prefer to walk dogs with a non-retractable leash. Whatever your preferences are for care, I will make it happen.

About: I am a healthcare worker, looking to get outside more and dog walking/sitting is great for that! I have grown up with dogs my entire life, and have even helped birth three litters by myself for my chihuahua from the age of 10. Available Mondays, Wednesdays, Sat and Sun starting Nov 19, 2023. I am transitioning to a new part time job. I am available for your pet needs on Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday! Interested in long term clients to build rapport and quick bookings as well! I am clean, quiet, and respectful. I will ask for specific details regarding your pet’s health and diet, personality, and socialization skills in order to ensure the best and safest experience. I will also need emergency contacts as well for peace of mind. I also send updates to let you know how things are going and any questions if I have them.
