“I do not know where to start other than Hillary went above and beyond for my furbabies Piper and Paislee. The night before Hillary was suppose to come stay at the house Paislee became very ill and was at emergency vet from 615pm until 6 am. I explained everything that was going on to Hillary and for not ever watching Piper and Paislee she was very attentive to Paislee as we had to leave 2.5 hours after getting her home to the airport. I cooked everything I needed and left all medications on the counter and let her know the times of next doses. She seemed comfortable with everything and I couldn’t have been lucky enough to find her. She used her best judgment and I couldn’t have been anymore blessed with her caring PIper and Paislee. I was able to get updates about every other day due to our traveling plans. I let her know many times how grateful I was. Then I came home to a beautiful letter and she washed all the blankets from the dogs, towels, and the guest room bedding. She do not have to do that but I am grateful. About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! I am also available almost all Fridays-Sundays, making me the perfect option for pet sitting during your weekend plans. See below for more detailed availability (updated for Sept-Dec)! Emerson took great care of our pets and home while we were away. Her professionalism, expertise and confidence put my mind at ease since this was our 1st time using Rover. Michelle took great care of our two golden retrievers while we were away. It was quite a week...severe thunderstorm warning. tornado warning, power outage, sick pup, changes in travel plans.... and yet she handled everything beautifully. Fantastic experience! I’m a dog trainer and my dogs are basically my children, so I’m picky about who I allow to watch my house & my girls. My girls were very well cared for and I received daily updates with pictures, and my house was well cared for as well. Highly recommend!!
He was great sitter for our dog and cat. The cat was happy, relaxed, and clearly loved all the extra attention, while our dog — who is usually shy around new people — warmed up almost immediately. We received regular updates, photos, and messages that gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. They followed all feeding instructions, kept everything tidy, and treated our pets like family.
Hannah was wonderful with our fur babies. I had a short notice trip and Hannah made herself available for a meet and greet before we left. We have a pretty extensive care list for our pets and she asked good questions during the meet & greet and loved on the fur babies while she was here. Her responses to messages are prompt and thorough. She sent lots of photos (each pet 2x per day) which let us know she was taking good care of our pets. The house looked nice and clean upon our return. I'm adding Hannah to my list of regulars to use for pet sitting and look forward to using her again.
Alexandria did a great job staying in our home and watching all three of our animals! She arrived on time to both the meet and greet and sit, and sent updates to let me know my animals were in good hands. She also left our house clean. Claire is by far the best of the best! She took wonderful care of my senior kitty Cali 💕 She sent me follow ups, videos and photos with updates of how she was doing while I was away. I also appreciated that Claire has a background of working in veterinary medicine and was able to give my cat her scheduled daily medication without a problem!
