“Christina and her family took such great care of Oliver during our recent extended family vacation. Christina was an excellent communicator and was very flexible with adjusting Oliver’s care instructions when needed during his stay. We are so grateful that Oliver had a place to stay that gave him the same TLC he receives from us at home.”

“Dan was great! Super nice guy, he sent us updates with photos throughout our trip. He has a nice big home with the perfect open yard. His dog was so sweet and friendly, our dog made friends with her immediately and was a great companion. We would definitely hire Dan again.”

“Leo always enjoys time with Terry and his sweet wife. I know when he’s with them that he’s being loved on and cared for like he’s their own. I’d give them more than five stars if that was an option!”

“I highly recommend Kristopher and family. They were quick to respond and helped me and my shy dog feel comfortable right away. They followed my care instructions to the letter and kept me updated. Drop off and pickup were so smooth. Will book again!”

“Christine and her crew were incredible and did a great job. Thor came home exhausted and without any bad habits (begging from the table, attempting to get on furniture, etc). Great communication before and throughout the stay. Thor loved his time with Cornelius and is looking forward to his next visit.”

“Molly was extremely flexible, thoughtful, and took amazing care of our dog overnight. Her place is lovely and our dog was instantly comfortable. Her dog is very sweet and calm. Would book here 100% anytime we are in Grand Rapids!”

“Puggy LOVES staying with aunt Pam. She takes the most AMAZING care of him while he’s there. This is the second time she has watched Puggy and Aunt Pam will always be our first choice! She is the VERY best!!! & she has the sweetest & most adorable pup crew that Puggy loves playing with and lounging with. Pam lets Puggy sleep in her bed and she spends a ton of time letting him sit in her lap. His favorite! Puggy loves her!”

“Our dog had a fantastic stay at Felix's house. Felix offered a meet and greet before her stay and we could tell immediately that she would be in caring, attentive, capable hands. He was responsive throughout her stay and our dog was happy and healthy at pickup. I would highly recommend. Thanks, Felix!”

“I had to leave town last weekend and decided to see what boarding my dog Ding with somebody from Rover might be like. I hit the jackpot when I decided to reach out to Roman and Suzanne. Right from the get go they were extremely responsive and had the answers to all my questions. And so friendly! We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. Cant recommend Roman and Suzanne and family enough! I’ll definitely be reaching out to for another upcoming weekend trip :) Thanks so much!”

About: I have 2 dogs, a 10yo Basenji and a 14yo Beagle. I have experience with dogs as little as 5 pounds and as big as 120 pounds, as young as 3 months and older seniors. I've been pet sitting/dog walking full time for 2.5 years, but have been experienced for over 10 years with my own dogs. This is my full time job. I walk up to 20 miles per day. I drive to each clients house, to either walk their dog or stop in to feed them/play with them. For dog boarding, the dogs will be home max of 6 hours by themselves (often is less) so I can do my normal dog walking job. When I'm home, my kids and I will spend lots of time loving on your dogs and playing with them. I have 2 dogs of my own, so I know how to handle dogs, how to walk with them, and clean up after them. I'm looking forward to building a relationship with you and your dog! For in my home, I will treat your dog the same as my 2 dogs, with love and care! Myself and my 2 kids absolutely love any and all dogs!
“A family member had to cancel plans to watch our dog a couple days before we went on vacation. Jenn was very responsive and was able to have us over the evening before for a meet and greet. It was immediately obvious that Jenn loves dogs and that Arby would be in good hands. We received photos each day and were able to enjoy a worry-free weekend . Thanks again!”

“Thank you to Emily and her family for taking such good care of our girls. From dealing with different medications, special food to eat and dealing with our new rescue who still has accidents in the house sometimes. She went above and beyond. The reports and pictures daily helped ease that awful feeling of leaving them. We would book with her again.”

“I would definitely recommend Melvin and Sean! This was our first time leaving our baby Charlie. As someone who deals with anxiety it wasn't an easy thing for me to do. However they made me feel completely at ease and assured me that he was safe and well taken care of. The photo updates they sent throughout the stay helped so much and truly gave me peace of mind. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they provided! We will definitely use them again.”

“Jayme took exceptional care of my senior dog while we were gone for almost 2 weeks. She was easy to communicate with and we arranged a meet & greet after I initially booked, which went well. Her home and yard were perfect for my dog and she answered any questions I had. My dog has a few medications she had to take and this was not an issue at all. She and her family were so welcoming and loving to my dog, who has mobility issues and separation anxiety. She also sent me photos and updates throughout the time she was watching my dog, which was so welcomed. I never once felt like I was concerned or worried about how things were going while in her care. When I picked up my dog, she was very obviously comfortable in her home! She and her family were a true blessing to us in our time of need for a pet sitter and we’d love to have her help again in the future. Thank you!”

“Caroline was a great fit for boarding our two dogs! Great communication and updates while we were away. Our senior dog and notoriously nervous dog were both very comfortable with her. Will definitely reach out again in the future. Thanks, Caroline!”

“I looked into Rover for the first time when I was looking to board my 8 month old puppy for a long weekend away. Being a more timid puppy, I was not keen to have my dog at a kennel, so I was looking for a place where he would feel more comfortable. Tatyana was exactly who I was looking for! She took great care of my labradoodle puppy for 4 nights. Her communication was great-She gave me daily updates and pictures. I would definitely recommend her and will be boarding my dog with her again!!”

“Ohara and her family took great care of our baby dog! He was so happy and content all the time in the pictures. We are very thankful for the love and care you gave Levi and would come back again. Thank you!”

“Stephanie took great care of our pups and we would use her again/recommend her to others. She was very communicative and we loved all the updates/pics!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
