About: I’ve been responsible for friends and family’s pets since roughly 16, more recently cats in the last 4 years. Plenty of experience all the way from small skittish beagles to large reactive pit mix’s. The key is patience and that’s one thing I can promise with your pet, understanding and dealing with different breeds, ages, sizes, behaviors and sometimes even disabilities/health concerns (we love em all). Also have experience with cats, all the way to senior cats with disabilities/health concerns (hearing & kidney failure) to fat cats with spicy attitude, I would like to say I have a plethora of different experience to care for your pet. Lastly, I think I would be a great sitter by being patient and simply understanding what pets mean to people! I do work full time in office but have work from home flexibility, as well as I pick my hours so can be available if needed. I prefer boarding on the weekends but can be available during the week! I can be available to let your dog out every 2 hours if needed, as well as give medication, feed them, and play with them as well. I live in a 1BR Deluxe duplex, have half of the first floor house to myself, so ample room for another or two. Do have liter box, as well as enough space for another if needed. As well as enough space for a dog crate and their favorite toys, food and treats :) My young pit mix has plenty of space shared with Gibby my cat, but they always choose to lay on the same bed together !
About: I have been around animals for most of my life and have over 50 years of hands-on experience caring for pets. Over the years, I’ve owned about nine dogs and currently have an Australian Shepherd and two sugar gliders, so I’m comfortable with both active dogs and animals that need more specialized care. I understand how important it is to have someone dependable, patient, and attentive caring for your pets, and I’ll treat them like they’re part of my own family. I'm a retired firefighter who went into nursing after that career but retired from that now, too. I really enjoy the company of dogs and they seem to enjoy me, too. My wife is in and out of the house because she still works full time, so you may or may not meet her. However I am the one who's retired and gets to be home with any fur babies 24/7 so you will be working with me directly. I have a fenced in backyard, a friendly Aussie who likes to play and numerous sized cages if your dog prefers that for sleeping or escape. I take a walk everyday (usually to the park two blocks away) and I would be happy to include your dog on my daily walk. If I come to your house , I'd be happy to walk your dog around your neighborhood , play ball or frisbee in the backyard or work on commands .. I have done all of these in the past.

About: I’ve taken care and lived with dogs or cats my entire life. I have been unable to get one now that I am an adult, and need some more pet time! I’m incredibly patient, loving and excited to show these pets a new friend! I don’t have a yard but my apartment has a dog park i’d take them to if the owner was comfortable! I work full time Monday through Thursday 10-7 then friday 10-3. So I am available for nights and then fully available on the weekends. There is the community dog park easy walking distance from where I live, and multiple trails to provide them with a fun walk! For overnight stays, I’m happy to make sure your pets are comfortable and have everything they need while you’re away. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in their own home, my goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine as much as possible. I’m happy to follow your instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, medications, bedtime routines, and anything else your pet needs. I’ll give them plenty of attention and affection while also respecting their personality and boundaries—whether they’re an energetic pup who loves to play or a couch potato who prefers to cuddle! When pets stay in my home, they’ll have access to a fenced-in yard for safe outdoor time and lots of love and attention. My dog Grover is friendly and enjoys having other dogs around. When staying in your home, I’ll treat your space with the same care and respect I would my own. Janelle went above and beyond with my somewhat “special needs” and raw fed dogs (a puppy and a CHF dog with a strict medication administration routine). Despite a week of nasty humid and stormy weather, Janelle managed to get them outside to play when it cleared up, but they were also content snuggling or napping. I was sent daily reports and pictures. My dogs usually take a bit to warm up to strangers, but this was not the case with Janelle- they were immediately comfortable and returned home happy and well fed.
