About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.

About: I’ve always had animals of my own, basically since I was old enough to walk. I started my own pet-sitting business when I was 13. I’m the go-to for friends and family when they need their babies cared for and I love every breed. I studied veterinary medicine for a number of years and have more recently begun to train dogs, as well. I work full-time but I make my own schedule. I also live just a few minutes away from my work and can pop back to my house when need be. I’m already taking care of our senior dog, our new puppy, and our two cats. I love being outside and taking the babies for walks. I have a fenced in yard as well as two other dogs and two other cats. I have a large crate as well as two portable enclosures and no shortage of extra bowls, blankets, toys, and towels. I live in a great neighborhood and there is a park a block away. It’s important to me that animals are well taken care of and I love spending extra time playing and snuggling with any babies I get to hang out with.

About: While i have lifelong dog care experiennce, I have worked in the dog industry for 10 years as a dog daycare attendant, dog hiker in the mountains of British Columbia, and in home petsitter.
