“Katrina agreed to care for Coco last minute. Her usual caretaker could not do the job any longer. I had given the job to another person on Rover and they cancelled. Katrina came over for a meet n greet and walk to get to know Coco. She followed the directions given very well and I loved the pictures. Coco seemed to really love her and she was well taken care of. When coco was having problems sleeping Katrina added an additional daily walk and it really helped her. I would definitely tell others to use Katrina.”

About: I have always had a dog in the home and have always been a big part of caring for them. I have volunteered at veterinary clinics since i was in 6th grade. I have assisted in surgery’s and births as well! I have two rescue dogs at home and one has spina bifida and is in diapers. It has been a joy to help them thrive in there unique way. I also have lots of experience in giving medicine if that’s something your pet may need! I also have chickens and a snake as well! I have lots of experiences with raising puppies as well as caring for dogs in there special se our years. I would love to care for your dog in anyway! weather it’s running in the backyard , going for walks or taking naps in the sun! I am hoping to have a job over the summer but am unsure of what’s days. About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.

About: I've always loved working with animals. My family has owned pets that range from large dogs to small kittens. Since I was young, I've grown in experience taking care of farm animals and household pets. Some of my jobs have included training a puppy to do some basic tricks, caring for an older pup in her last days, bathing dogs, playing with cats, long walks with high energy dogs, and cuddles with the low energy ones. I'm currently working as an intern in downtown Grand Rapids. I'm able to work around my flexible schedule to give your pet the care that it needs. About: I grew up with two dogs fully in my care. Throughout my childhood, from the age of 10 to 18, I dedicated myself to researching various breeds of dogs and cats, including their historical backgrounds. As a result, I am quite knowledgeable about pets and am often recognized for my patience and calm demeanor. Summer Weekday Evening Availability During the summer months, from June 7th to August 25th, I am available for pet care services from All hours, Monday through Friday. Fall/Early Winter Availability From August 24th to December 18th, I am available for pet care, including walking and sitting, on Monday through Thursday evenings starting at 6:45 PM. On Fridays, I have full-day availability, and on Saturdays, I am available from 3:00 PM onwards. Winter/Spring Availability From January 1st to May 29th, my availability for pet care on weekdays (Monday to Friday) is from 5:30 PM until the evening. On Saturdays, I am available from 3:00 PM onwards. I will dedicate my full attention to them. Soon, my home will feature a fenced yard, but for now, I will ensure they have opportunities to play outdoors, including visits to dog parks where they can fetch or simply enjoy themselves. I will attend to their needs for bathroom breaks and provide them with a designated sleeping area. For cats, I will allow them to relax peacefully at home.

About: Looking for a family who will love your pup like he was their own while you’re away? You’ve found us! We love our furbabies and are always delighted to have company over! Your pup will get plenty of attention, reserved just for them. In addition to letting the pups enjoy each other’s company, we do brushing, treat time, one on one play time, and lots of just “hanging out” on the couch. I grew up with dogs always around me. I have had experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from Chihuahua to great dane, separation anxiety to squirrel chasers. My interests have led to a solid understanding of dog behavior. We will not allow fighting, just playing. We take great care of, and pay close attention to all furbabies and their interactions with each other when they enter our home. I enjoy working with, training, playing, and snuggling with the pups, and I teach my children how to do the same. Your pup will have almost 24/7 supervision while they are with us. I will happily sleep with them on the couch or the giant beanbag if they seem anxious or upset during their stay. My husband works from home, as do I most days, so they are guaranteed to have almost constant company. We have playmates and snuggle buddies aplenty, gates to block off sections of the house as needed for feeding, play style, treat time, etc. A lovely neighborhood for our walks, and a large fenced in area for the pups to play outside safely. A little bit about the pups who call us their people: Delilah is very tolerant of her furry friends – especially the puppies! Mostly, she prefers to watch the happenings from a favorite spot on the couch, and sleep – a lot! Isabel is an easy-going little girl. She likes to play with her friends but is mostly content to just be by her people. Blu is an exuberant, happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play. He is not a dominate personality even when another dog challenges him. He just wants to play! About: I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant/technician at a facility that offered boarding, where I became kennel manager. I'm confident working with seniors, medical cases, behavorial cases, and puppies. For all weekend drop-ins, my partner Alex will be accompanying me. I will be doing all pet care, but for my safety he'll be accompanying me. He'll be there to provide a little extra affection and play-time for your pets if they're interested. My schedule is open! I am a stay st home wife so I'll be able to devote plenty of time to your pets. I will have my partner, Alex, accompany me to all first visits for safety. He will also accompany me on any weekend drop ins. All pet care will be done by me, but Alex will give them a little extra love when applicable. I'm used to doing various different routines to care for pets. I have a dog of my own who's very friendly- if your pup needs a friend we can set up a play date! We are very intentional about how we care for dogs and we have found, dogs don't mind the long line since they still get to run their tails off! There are young children who are excited about dogs who love meeting new dogs. The children in my home are familiar with my standards of pet care, and know what it means to respect a dog. I have 3 German Shepherd Dogs who are dog neutral. My youngest dog is being trained for competitive obedience, one who recently retired and one who retired 2 years ago and works as a therapy dog as well as demonstration dog. He helps many dogs overcome their obstacles to becoming the well mannered pet many families crave. He is a gentle giant, I've learned much from him. He is always happy to see another dog, and understands respectful greetings, he is mild mannered and loves to play when released to do so. I am a runner, so if you are interested in a daily run for your pet during their stay, please notify me of this. My life is built around caring for pets. This was done intentionally and I am grateful for the opportunity to have your dog in my care. I can easily crate your dogs if needed. They are care for as my own. Each dog will be sent home with a treat bag made from single ingredient treats that we make.
