About: I’ve helped dog-sit my neighbor’s pups over the last 10 years and have loved every encounter with them. I recently lost my best friend (border collie mutt) of 13 years, and am looking to help any other owners out!! I love running with dogs, so if you have an energetic one that needs exercise I am happy to help! I am also comfortable walking, playing, stopping in, feeding, conducting potty breaks, and spending the night with all pets! I have a full time job (8-4) that has flexible hours and sometimes I work from home. I am available on the weekends to house sit and stay the night with your pup. I am available to pet-sit in your home and replicate your pet’s typical schedules and trainings, and whatever you need that is communicated to me!

About: I am a life long dog lover, raising dogs for the entirety of my first 18 years of life. While we live in a home where we can't keep dogs. At home we care for a menagerie of pets, including 1 cat, 2 rabbits, 3 degus, 2 budgies, 1 cockatiel, 1 painted turtle and keep 5 freshwater aquariums! I am self employed with a very flexible schedule. I try to fit in 3-5 dog walks per week. Sometimes more if my schedule allows. I am always very mindful of any pets in my care. We have a cockatiel who we allow to fly around the house, so I am always very watching and aware, ensure doors and windows are treated with care to ensure the safety of my pets.

“Rikki watched our fur babies, Cash and Josie last week and did an amazing job! She sent us pictures every day, which really helped us get through until we got home, since we missed them so very much. She really seemed to care about them and did a great job in making them feel comfortable and safe while we were away. She didn't get to see very much of Josie, our cat, as she isn't really into hanging out with people. But Cash, our dog, absolutely loved her and I'm sure he looked forward to her coming and playing with him every day. I would definitely recommend her as a pet sitting and will be using her in the future when we take our next trip away from home.”

About: Looking for a family who will love your pup like he was their own while you’re away? You’ve found us! We love our furbabies and are always delighted to have company over! Your pup will get plenty of attention, reserved just for them. In addition to letting the pups enjoy each other’s company, we do brushing, treat time, one on one play time, and lots of just “hanging out” on the couch. I grew up with dogs always around me. I have had experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, from Chihuahua to great dane, separation anxiety to squirrel chasers. My interests have led to a solid understanding of dog behavior. We will not allow fighting, just playing. We take great care of, and pay close attention to all furbabies and their interactions with each other when they enter our home. I enjoy working with, training, playing, and snuggling with the pups, and I teach my children how to do the same. Your pup will have almost 24/7 supervision while they are with us. I will happily sleep with them on the couch or the giant beanbag if they seem anxious or upset during their stay. My husband works from home, as do I most days, so they are guaranteed to have almost constant company. We have playmates and snuggle buddies aplenty, gates to block off sections of the house as needed for feeding, play style, treat time, etc. A lovely neighborhood for our walks, and a large fenced in area for the pups to play outside safely. A little bit about the pups who call us their people: Delilah is very tolerant of her furry friends – especially the puppies! Mostly, she prefers to watch the happenings from a favorite spot on the couch, and sleep – a lot! Isabel is an easy-going little girl. She likes to play with her friends but is mostly content to just be by her people. Blu is an exuberant, happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play. He is not a dominate personality even when another dog challenges him. He just wants to play! He works as a service dog, and as such spends most of his day earning his place among the greatest of his kind. Contact me today to set up a visit or to learn more! About: We’ve had a family puppy for as long as I can remember! My brother and I do lots of volunteering between nearby shelters and we also do watch other dogs. My aunt has two German Shepards and a pit-bull that I watch quite often so I have experience with bigger dogs as well. I’m currently working a full time job from 8:30-4:30 PM, M-F. I can watch a dog any day during the week and or overnight as long as they can go that long without potty breaks! If the house is nearby I can go on my lunches to let the pets out :) We currently have an electric fence and colar for our puppy and are very cautious any time letting him out. I will give the same care for your puppy any time I am around it!

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.

About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! I am also available almost all Fridays-Sundays, making me the perfect option for pet sitting during your weekend plans. See below for more detailed availability (updated for Sept-Dec)! Monday : not available Tuesday : 7am-2pm & 6pm-10pm Wednesday : 7am-11am and 5pm-10pm Thursday : 7am-2pm & 6pm-10pm Friday-Sunday : all day availability I am an incredibly clean and organized person. I always try to leave the homes I pet-sit in just as they were when I entered, even if that means a bit extra clean-up!

About: I’ve grown up taking care of every kind of animal. I’ve raised baby bunnies, cared for cats and loved several breeds of dogs. I’m an animal lover all around and will care for your pets like they’re my own. Everything from walking, bathing and feeding. I currently work part time as a fitness trainer so I have a split day with plenty of time and energy to play and support your family friends during the day I have a fenced in backyard and a beautiful neighborhood for walking. I have a young and playful cat to keep your fur baby company. And kids that need plenty of licks and hugs.

I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!

About: I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant/technician at a facility that offered boarding, where I became kennel manager. I'm confident working with seniors, medical cases, behavorial cases, and puppies. For all weekend drop-ins, my partner Alex will be accompanying me. I will be doing all pet care, but for my safety he'll be accompanying me. He'll be there to provide a little extra affection and play-time for your pets if they're interested. My schedule is open! I am a stay st home wife so I'll be able to devote plenty of time to your pets. I will have my partner, Alex, accompany me to all first visits for safety. He will also accompany me on any weekend drop ins. All pet care will be done by me, but Alex will give them a little extra love when applicable. I'm used to doing various different routines to care for pets. I have a dog of my own who's very friendly- if your pup needs a friend we can set up a play date! I'm mostly excited to offer one on one care for your pets in a way I was unable to do at a boarding facility.
