She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! LIFE UPDATE!!! I’ve been hired as a camp counselor at Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care and overnight boarding facility! Right now I have training scheduled from June 30 to July 2 and July 6, all for days I’ll be unavailable from 11 am to 3 pm. Once I’m done with training, I should hopefully be getting a work schedule that I will use to update my scheduling here on Rover! So please forgive me for the next couple of weeks while I get everything settled! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I personally have had 2 dogs and 3 cats. My one pup, which recently passed, was a small Shi-Tzu/Chihuahua female, who was spunky and loved to play and cuddle. My current dog who is living back in Michigan is a 5 year old Husky male mix. He is a rescue pup, flown in from Lebanon (the country!) after a vet found him severely wounded in the streets. He loves to run, and is the biggest attention hog now! I also have had 3 cats, 1 currently- a fluffy orange tabby who is an absolute dork but lovable nonetheless. I live with my roommate who has a sweet 4-year-old poodle mix, and both of our dogs are playful, well-behaved, and love having company. We also have a large, fully fenced backyard—perfect for playtime, fresh air, and zoomies.
About: Hi, my name is Kayla and I'd love to care for your beloved pup! Life is better with a dog by your side, and I’d be honored to show your pet some love through a good walk - it is our dog, Charlie’s, favorite word after all! You can be sure that cuddles, playing fetch, and ear rubs will be a very important part of your pet's care! I would like to note that occasionally my children enjoy joining me on walks, and love the opportunity to show your pet some attention too! I’m currently working part time, so I have plenty of time to care for your pets! I am available in the evenings on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and all day Tuesday, Thursdays, and Saturdays. On Sundays, I am available in the afternoon and evening. I have a grassy back yard, as well as the availability to crate small dogs. Our neighborhood is dog-friendly with several miles of sidewalks and trails.
About: I am a vet assistant for a mobile vaccine company and just enjoy aniamls and just can't get enough of them. I want to let you have me time and know your babies are in good hands. I work weekends mostly so I am free during the week alot and can even to weird 3rd shift hours if needed. Very flexible when I can be. I like to try and meet up before the sitting so I can know how your pet is taken care of so I can keep them in the same routine even when your gone.

Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
About: I've always loved dogs I don't have a ton of experience with dogs but have had dogs of my own growing up I love to play with dogs and walk them and give them lots of love I would treat whatever dog I had in my care as my own I'm a stay at home mom so your dog would get lots of attention from me and my children lots of cuddles and play time Your dog would always be on a lease or lead in my backyard as I don't have a fenced in yard but I have a big backyard again they would be cared for as If they were my own dog

“Emily was absolutely amazing with my puppy! She is only four months old (needs extra attention as most do!), is on a medication, and this was my first time having to leave her with someone else to care for her. When I got there, Emily already had a space set up for my puppy with a large play space and puppy pee pads (just in case haha). Emily sent me pictures and updates every day so that I could see how well she was doing. It made me happy to see her so happy. Then on my way home, I had flight delays, and Emily and her husband were MORE than accommodating to help me pick up my puppy from them quite late in the evening. I can’t recommend Emily enough. I will definitely look to her first when needing a sitter in the future.”

Felix sent me messages and pictures daily so that I knew they were having fun together. My dog got to enjoy long walks each day with the freedom to explore all the new smells along the way. I didn't worry or feel guilty leaving my dog behind because I knew he was happy in Felix's care!”
“Jacob was wonderful and easy to work with and our dog loved his stay! Jacob starts off with a meet and greet to make sure your pet meshes well with his dogs and I think he did a great job slowly introducing each of his dogs to Thor. Jacob watched Thor over the Fourth of July and although Thor doesn’t mind fireworks he mentioned that they do have thunder vests in case Thor got anxious. Jacob sent pictures throughout the stay and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely be rebooking!”
