“I had to leave town last weekend and decided to see what boarding my dog Ding with somebody from Rover might be like. I hit the jackpot when I decided to reach out to Roman and Suzanne. Right from the get go they were extremely responsive and had the answers to all my questions. And so friendly! We did a quick meet and greet at their home and I instantly knew I’d be trusting my guy with them. Just really wonderful people and they clearly love the animals they take care of. And they sure took care of mine! I got lots of pictures and updates over the weekend, and Ding looked so happy in all of them. He really hit it off with their dog Sonic! The weekend flew by and after an easy pickup (they really made everything so easy!) Ding and I were back home. He totally crashed out after a fun weekend with his new friends. About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. Dannee had a very calming effect on him and he responded well - even cuddled. I felt the cat was safe and well taken care of with Dannee. About: I often joke that I like animals more than people and with that being said, I can promise that I will love on your furbaby as if they were my own. My Chihuahua-Jack Russell recently crossed over the rainbow bridge and my house has been too quiet. This opportunity with Rover will bring some joy back to my life, hopefully with a side of snuggles. I’ve been watching cats & dogs since I was a pre-teen. I grew up in a house with 2 cats, as well. I work Monday-Friday, but I have plenty of time on the weekends to walk and play with your dog. I am open to house-sitting at your residence if that is better for the animals. I'm available 24/7 for boarding at my house, as long as your pup is crate-trained and okay being home alone for 6-8 hours as I do work full time Monday-Friday. Same hours go for housesitting at the pet's home. I have lots of space to roam in the house. Couch and bed are free spaces. If your pet prefers to be crated at night, I am happy to do so. About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.

A little bit about the pups who call us their people: Delilah is very tolerant of her furry friends – especially the puppies! Mostly, she prefers to watch the happenings from a favorite spot on the couch, and sleep – a lot! Isabel is an easy-going little girl. She likes to play with her friends but is mostly content to just be by her people. Blu is an exuberant, happy-go-lucky guy who loves to play. He is not a dominate personality even when another dog challenges him. He just wants to play! About: We have had pets for as long as I can remember. I pet sat as kid for neighbors frequently, riding my bike to play with dogs and cats, and feed chickens. My kids all also love animals and are eager to help your pet feel at home, away from home! We have a blue heeler/ border collie who roams in and out of the house, and can easily be kept apart from any dogs we are watching here. We LOVE taking xare of animals, and are learning more with every experience we have pet sitting, and sad every time to see them go! About: I have a dog-loving home with a large fenced in yard, my shitzu/chihuahua (named Chewy:) will help make your pet feel at home. We will take walks (typically two or more during a full-day stay) and love to take trips to the dog park-if you allow. I am retired and have lots of time to dedicate to your furry friend. I limit to two dogs maximum and prefer small breeds only (up to 25 lbs). In addition to daytime sitting, I will care for your pet for overnights and extended stays too! About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m sticking with Rover full time for a while! I’ve tried Camp Bow Wow, and found it isn’t the right work environment for me. I like providing services through Rover as I can better manage my schedule and get to know your fur babies more personally! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I have always held a special place in my heart for animals ever since I was young. Ive had my own and have watched my friends and families animals of all kinds including but not limited to dogs, cats, hamsters, ferrets, birds and even bunnies! Though I understand not many people have that kind of time so i’d like to not only help animals in need of a great caretaker but also the owners themselves so they needn’t worry! i am currently not working since i’m a full time student in college, however i am enrolled online only. About: I love walking dogs! I have a dog of my own (Winnie) that I have trained. She’s a poodle/schnauzer mix and is a bit of a troublemaker. I am very familiar with high energy dogs and can handle them well. Although my dog looks small, she used to love to pull me on walks. So I’m familiar with handling pullers! I work in the afternoons so I’m looking to fill up my mornings. I love long walks so don’t be afraid to request me for an extended time/distance. If you book me, I’d ideally like to be done walking by 12:30pm so I can be ready for my part-time job at 2pm. I know every dog is different so I’m very attentive to each dog’s needs. I do not rush dogs on walks. I’m very hyper-vigilant so I’m great at accommodating each dog’s needs. I walk with my belt bag filled with treats, extra poop bags, bug spray, sun screen, etc. so I’m ready for whatever comes my way.

I also have my own dog and cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I take my dog on regular walks and love bringing her to the park. Sometimes my cat even joins the adventure! My goal is simple: keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3–6 pm. Outside those hours I’m available for walks, play, feeding, and maintaining your pet’s schedule; I’ll update you if anything changes. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home whether I’m caring for them in my space or in theirs. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—so they feel relaxed and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, since every pet is different. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and always make sure doors, gates, and supplies are secure. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with respect and make sure everything stays neat while giving their pets plenty of love and attention. I also like to send updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and having fun.

About: Hello my name is Justin L, I am 39 years, single, no kids and work full time. I lost my dog about 5 years ago and it was very hard to deal with. I am not ready to commit to another one yet, so I figured I might as well get my dog fix by helping others out on their vacation or their busy schedules. I always grew up with dogs and have had them all from small to large. Dogs are a mans best friend is the most true statement and I will always provide the best care for those dogs. Life would be so boring without dogs in it. I hope at some point in the future to get my own dog. I am available after I am off work. Depending where I’m working and where you are located I can possibly swing by during lunch time as well. I like to listen to what the owners say as far as what their preference for how they want their pet to behave. Any parameters with the house they typically write them up and I keep them updated throughout the day with photos of the pets.
About: All three of our animals are besties and our whole world. My husband and I have had pets my entire life :) my husband and I work together to take the best care of your animals in our home or yours! Currently my husband and I work opposite schedule, someone is often home with the animals. If not, we will confirm you are comfortable with the duration we leave (if care is in our own home). About: I’ve grown up taking care of every kind of animal. I’ve raised baby bunnies, cared for cats and loved several breeds of dogs. I’m available Thursday nights through Sundays, which allows me to provide consistent, attentive care without rushing or overbooking. As a dog mom, I understand the importance of routines, exercise, feeding schedules, and recognizing pets’ needs. I’m used to planning my days around caregiving and making sure everyone feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I have a large yard for supervised outdoor time. Since it’s not fenced, dogs are always closely monitored and leashed as needed. I have a friendly dog who enjoys company, and two children who love animals and are taught to be gentle and respectful.
