“Went on vacation for a week. I felt like my girls were safe and well loved by maelee!! I loved all the photos and summary updates I got about the girls on a daily.”

“Kaitlyn was very responsive prior to setting up services. Her daily updates and pictures were comforting and helpful for ensuring that our two elderly cats were doing well while we were gone. We had a minor issue on one visit with her gaining access to our home, and Kaitlyn was quick to help resolve. I would not hesitate to book her again in the future.”

About: I have years of experience caring for animals, from dogs to cats & rabbits. Pet care is an area that I am thrilled to be now pursuing on a higher level. Animals have captured my heart for years, and this is something that will not change now or in the future. I am someone who pays attention to details and always has animal welfare at the forefront of my mind. I do not doubt that I am someone to be trusted with your animals. I look forward to potentially working with you! I am fortunate in that I have a fairly flexible routine currently. This allows for pet care jobs and responsibilities to be easier to take on. I am happy to watch your animals in your home if all checks out. What might it look like? I could stop by once or twice a day (‘depending) to make sure your pet(s) are well and everything is running smoothly. For example, I just wrapped up pet sitting for someone I know in the area & she gave me a spare key for her place. This is just what made sense & what she was comfortable with at the time. She left some realistic instructions for me & all went well. It was a win-win situation. You just need help with dog walking? I am happy to consider that as well!
“Oh my goodness, amazing! It’s clear she is an animal lover and caretaker. The thoughtful updates on what the kitties were up to and what she did during her time at the check in were so helpful and made me feel so at ease. Will DEFINITELY rebook. Thank you SO much Moira!!!”

“Holly Jean was wonderful! She sent me detailed updates about how her drop in visit went. She followed all my instructions perfectly. She was communicative during the booking process and did not hesitate to reach out if she had any further questions. I felt like my cats were well cared for with her!”
“James is great with our dog Brody. Brody can be a lot to handle and I appreciate his mastery when it comes to caring for him. Brody looks so happy in all the pictures that James has shared. I’m very grateful for his help while I’ve been away!”

About: I've always loved working with animals. My family has owned pets that range from large dogs to small kittens. Since I was young, I've grown in experience taking care of farm animals and household pets. Some of my jobs have included training a puppy to do some basic tricks, caring for an older pup in her last days, bathing dogs, playing with cats, long walks with high energy dogs, and cuddles with the low energy ones. I'm currently working as an intern in downtown Grand Rapids. I'm able to work around my flexible schedule to give your pet the care that it needs. Typically, I work all day Thursday, but I'm willing to work with you to fit your schedule best! Since I am in an apartment, I am sadly unable to provide boarding services at my residence. However, I have a car and am more than willing to travel to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home!
“Molly was very responsive throughout our trip. It was so nice to recieve pictures with our daily check in. Will definitely reach back out for any future cat sitting needs!”

About: I have a lot of experience taking care of my family’s dogs (Bernese Mountain Dogs) and dogsitting for friends and neighbors. I have a lot of energy, so I am willing to walk, run, and play with your dog. I am also willing to take your dog to a dog park to get out some more energy. I also offer house sitting. I am a middle school teacher, so during the week I am only available for drop-ins and walks after 3:40. If I am dogsitting for you during the week, there will be times that I am gone for 8-9 hours at work. But on most weekends, I wouldn’t be gone for more than 3-4 hours at a time, and would spend the rest of the time home with your pet making them feel safe and loved! I work full time from 7:30-3:30 on weekdays, but have a lot of afternoon and evening availability for drop-ins and walks. I am also available for early morning drop-ins before 7:00 am. I follow all of the routines, procedures, and feeding instructions left by the pet’s family in order to provide great care for the pet and to ensure the home is safe and secure.
“Paula is fantastic!!! I had a pet siter set up for my home but she had to cancel at the last minute. So instead I took my pups with me to my VRBO and hired Paula at last minute notice. We did the meet and greet and my girls Gabby & Gracie immediately loved her. She did a few drop in visits while I was at my conference and eased my anxiety that they were in a strange home without their mom. I would recommend you hire Paula, she will treat your pets like family.”

“Katie is truly a star sitter! We scheduled 3 drop-in visits for our 5 year old golden retriever and they went off without a hitch. Katie followed all our care instructions, took pictures and gave updates, and even took him on a walk and brought in some packages on the front porch to avoid them getting rained on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

Ada dog parents share their Rover experiences
Thank you so much Kristopher! We have struggled to find good care for our Aussie when we go away and I am so thankful to have found Kristopher. The communication was great, he is undaunted by my dog and willing to go with what the dog is used to at our home. In just this one interaction, I felt our families had similar values and this made leaving Jesse in his care very comfortable. There were some fun extras to the visit and Jesse was very well cared for. Thankful and hopeful for get-aways to come. Great experience all the way around.
