About: I have taken care of dogs since I was a child. My family treats dogs like they are human children, and your dog would be treated like a prince or princess. I ask that you ensure your dogs are all up to date on vaccinations and neutered/spade. Dogs that are trained off leash will do better at my home since our yard is not fenced in. I am home Friday - Sunday. If I have to leave for any reason, then my husband or adult son or adult daughter are always home. I do not have small children in my home. I have 14 acres of relatively secluded farmland. We throw a ball for our dogs and also walk them along the White Pine Trial each night. If it’s rainy or cold, we go into our indoor arena and let the dogs play and run around. I only accept dogs that are good off-leash because we do not have a fenced in yard.

About: I have been with rover, dog bording for about 3 years now. I love animals, they are my favorite. I pet every dog I see. I have also been around animals my whole life. When I was younger I had a dog named rocky, he was a cocker spaniel and a beagle mix, I had him for 13 years. When we had to put him down part of my soul left, he was my best friend. I know what its like to love your beautiful animals, through hard times they are always there for us. They are all created with beautiful souls, we are so lucky to have something like that by our sides. With that being said, I would love to take in your pet as if it were my own. About: Hello! My name is Ally and I am a confirmed animal lover! All of my friends and family say that they want to come back in their next life as one of my pets lol. My family has had many different types of animals since I was a baby and love taking care of them. I have extensive experience in caring for cats, dogs, and horses - any size or age. I also have plenty of experience giving medications (pills, shots, ect) and have no issues with special requests. My older dog Dozer (who passed away at age 13 in April 2021) had Addisons and caratracts, so I have plenty of experience giving extra care when needed. I am currently am working a hybrid work schedule, but I work from home Thursdays and Fridays. On the weekends you will most likely find me out and about with my current dog Finnley. Finnley is a 5 year old Goldendoodle who loves life, people, treats and other dogs. We love to go to dog parks, the cottage, trails in the woods, car rides, the indoor dog park, and the Muskegon Dog Beach. I use positive reinforcement only and the dogs are of course allowed on the furniture. I have had many years of experience in training my own dogs and have no issues following any rules that you have for your pet. Finnley and I live in downtown Rockford. While I don’t have a fenced in back yard, Finnley and I take at least 2 long walks a day. I also have access to the Rockford Dog Park, The Pack Indoor Dog park, Townsend Park, Grand Ravines Dog Park, trails in downtown Rockford, Grand Rogue Park, and the White Pine Trail. Finn and I are more than happy to have multiple dogs on our walks with us – the more the merrier! Finnley and I would love to take care of your fur family! Currently I am working a hybrid work schedule and only have to go in to work 3 days a week. The rest of the week I am working from home and take several long walks a day. If the weather is not great (rain, too cold, ect) I have access to The Pack indoor dog park. My current dog Finnley and I love to go for multiple long walks - both off leash in the woods and on leash downtown Rockford. We have multiple potty breaks a day, have plenty of toys to play with, and Finnley loves playing with other dogs. Finnley has full access to water all the time and gets fed twice a day. If I do have to leave the house, it is only for 5 hrs at a time maximum. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I have access to multiple dog parks, trails, and other areas for exercise. Finnley is crate trained and is in his kennel when I am out of the house & at night. I only take dogs out to go potty on a leash. My house is extremely pet proof.

About: I have two cats and a crested gecko, so I’m used to complex pet care. As a nursing student, I also have general medical knowledge as well as compassion. I’ve grown up near my grandparents who always have a dog, and over the past several months I have helped care for their mini golden doodle puppy. I work 2-3 twelve hour shifts per week at the hospital, leaving the rest of my week completely open. I’m available any day of the week at any time. I am able to crate your dog in your home, bring them in/outside, and I’m always up for a good cuddle session or some playtime!

About: Growing up I wasn’t allowed to have pets because of some allergies in my family, but I never met a pet I didn’t like. I took jobs watching dogs and cats any chance I could get. Neighbors still rely on me to feed, walk, and care for their pets to this day. I am a full time student at GVSU, so longer term care needs to happen on the weekends. However, my class schedule has lots of space during the day, so I’m happy to stop by for walks and playtime! I am currently unable to take pets in my home because they are not allowed. As an avid runner, I'd love to take your pooch for a long run, chill stroll or anything in between! I'm also willing to do some light housekeeping during drop-in visits. For 11 years I worked at a pet specialty store educating customers about the best ways to care for their pets - dogs, cats, birds, fish, geckos/bearded dragons and small animals. During that time I also worked briefly as a dog trainer. I have dogs and cats of my own, and previously kept freshwater fish, an axolotle, Syrian hamsters, anoles, chinchillas and a tree frog. I currently have some early morning availability (6-7) and evening/night availability (after 4:00) during the week. Saturday and Sunday I am generally open and have more availability. Pet safety is my top priority. I always make sure doors and/or gates are secure and that dogs have their collar on when going outside.
