About: I’ve owned dogs all my life. I believe they are more than pets, they are trusted friends. I will treat your dog as if he/she were my own. I work primarily from home. I’m away only 10-15 hours per week. I’m very flexible and willing to work with you for the love and benefit of your pet. I live in my new built home. There is a lot of area outside where we can walk, but I’ll never leave a dog unattended. I have my kids (aged 16 & 18) part time. They may be around. My kids love dogs.

About: Hi! I’m an experienced dog owner and lifelong dog lover who has raised and trained my own 4-year-old chocolate lab from puppyhood. I provide a safe, structured, and loving home where your dog will be treated like family. I’m a teacher and am home full-time during the summer, so your pup will get plenty of attention, including daily walks, playtime, and enrichment. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages and can administer oral medications if needed. Dogs staying with me must be friendly, as they’ll be spending time with my well-socialized lab who loves having a buddy around. Dogs are welcome on furniture to feel at home (just not on beds). Your dog’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priority, caring for them just like I do my own! I am home during the summers, as I teach during the school year! This allows my schedule to be flexible and provide your pet with frequent bathroom breaks, outside time, walks, and play time! Your pet will be welcomed into my home and treated like a family pet during their stay! Pets are allowed on furniture, but I request that they not sleep on the bed. I have beds that I can provide for them as an alternative sleeping area. My yard is fenced in for ease of bathroom breaks and time spent outside, but will likely be accompanied by me as I will likely be home during the majority of your pets stay. If your pet tends to get curious when left alone, I ask that you provide a crate for them to be put in when I have to run out of the house during your pets stay. I am pretty flexible and happy to accommodate your pet’s needs during their stay!
“Libby walked right in like she was visiting family and seemed very happy at the end of her visit. I could tell she enjoyed herself. I really appreciated the good care she received from Susan!”

About: I work remotely, which means I’m home a lot and able to give pets real attention throughout the day, not just quick check-ins between errands. I’ve been a dog owner since 2009, and while my two dogs sadly passed away a few years back, that long experience really shaped how I understand routines, personalities, and all the little quirks that make each pet unique. I usually keep things crate-free so dogs can relax and feel at home; they’re welcome to lounge on the couch, their bed, my bed, or wherever they choose, and I want them to feel like they’re just hanging out in their second home. If your pup is crate-trained or prefers a crate routine though, I’m totally happy to stick with that too. I focus on keeping pets comfortable and sticking closely to their normal routine, whether that’s walks, playtime, meals, or just hanging out and keeping them company. I’m pretty used to everything from energetic zoomies to picky eating to strong opinions about walk routes, so I try to meet each pet where they are and make them feel at home. I also keep pet parents updated with regular photos and messages so you’re never wondering how things are going, and can relax knowing your pet is being well cared for (and probably a little spoiled). Working from home gives me a lot of flexibility to fit pet care naturally into the day; walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout. Most pets are rarely left alone for long periods, which can be especially helpful for dogs that get anxious or just like having company. Overall, I try to keep things steady and predictable for pets, since they tend to do best with routine; regular walks, meals, playtime, and companionship built into the day so they feel comfortable and cared for. I offer flexible pet care in both my home and the client’s home, depending on what works best for each pet and their routine. In my home, pets are treated like part of the day-to-day household in a calm, pet-friendly environment where they can relax, play, and settle in comfortably, with consistent routines for feeding, walks, rest, attention, and plenty of time for play and companionship so they feel at ease and not bored. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping everything as familiar and stress-free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routine and following any specific instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and anything else that helps them feel secure, while also making sure they get plenty of one-on-one attention so they still feel cared for while you’re away. If I’m house sitting, I also help keep things running smoothly by bringing in mail, watering plants, and making sure everything stays secure, and I always provide regular updates with messages and photos so you know how things are going. Since I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, I’m able to accommodate midday check-ins, overnight stays, and longer care periods, and I’m also pretty adaptable if anything changes last minute. My goal is simply to make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for the whole time.

“The drive to the home is relaxing. A family member greets me at pickup and drop off before I reach their doorstep. Daphne (my dog) smiles on the way home and is tired out. Love the updates and photos too. They have been flexible with bad weather and a family emergency.”

About: We are a Christian home with a very active family! I’m thankful that my job allows me to spend most of my days at home with the kids and dog. Our dog is very friendly and loves new visitors. She’s smaller, but loves the big dogs best! My daughter on the other hand loves the smaller dogs. We will happily welcome them all! My dog and I frequent the dog parks, hiking trails, beaches and walks through the town. I used to be a former 4-H member with my childhood dog, so I’ve got many years experience with training and showing. My love and patience is huge for dogs. I prefer a dog to be kennel trained, and come with a crate but an open to discussion. I am very flexible and I will most certainly work with you with whatever you may need. Look forwarding to meeting you and your pup. We are home the majority of our days, tending to our hobby farm, and enjoying time outside. We have a very flexible schedule, and are willing to accommodate. The dogs are always fed separate, and separated when I leave! Pets are allowed on beds, and couches. They will get lots of time outside with us.
“Maggie was incredibly accommodating and patient with me and last minute request. My husky loved playing with her Luna, and I love the idea of her being in a home instead of a concrete kennel. I also liked that her sons gave my pets attention while they were there. 100% would recommend Maggie to anyone!”

“Will book again, it was nice for the dogs to have others like them to play together with and know that someone was watching them that has experience with this breed.”

“She said he did wonderful. She took great care in all his needs & wants. Very dependable. Love the pics & communication through the day. Already booked again. Thank you”

“This was the first time using someone to watch my 5 mo old puppy. So glad to have found Linda! Grace was well taken care of and came home exhausted after a day of play.”

About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life. I’ve had the responsibility of feeding and cleaning them since I was 14. I am very excited to take care of other pets and keep them safe. I feed my two cats three scoops each day (three scoops for each of them), give them lots of fresh water, and clean their litter boxes every day. I not only take care of my pets to make sure they are safe and healthy, but I play with them and have lots of fun with them.

About: I am an experienced pet owner and have cared for multiple cats and dogs at the same time, including puppies, kittens, and dogs of all sizes. I know how important it is to have peace of mind when someone else is caring for your pet. You can count on me to be reliable, attentive, and communicative. I’ll send photos and videos during my visits so you can see that your pet is happy, safe, and receiving plenty of care and attention. I also understand that life doesn’t always go as planned, so I offer last-minute care whenever my schedule allows. My goal is to provide calm, confident, and compassionate care so your pet feels secure, loved, and well cared for until you’re home again. As a stay-at-home mom, I have a flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and many holidays. My open availability allows me to accommodate regular visits as well as many last-minute requests. I treat every client's home with the same respect and care that I would my own. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priorities, and I'll ensure your home is secure, clean, and exactly as you left it. You can count on me to be reliable, trustworthy, and attentive during every visit.

About: I was raised with dogs of many different breeds and have owned a dog most of my adult life. In more recent years, I have done pet sitting for friends and family, including dogs, cats, chickens and fish. Experienced with younger pets as well as seniors. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give full attention to your pet and housesitting needs. Available for vacations planned well in advance or last minute needs. If you're looking for dependable and trustworthy pet care, I'm your person. I treat your pets and home as if they're mine and communicate clearly and often so you can rest assured everything is going smoothly. As a seasoned veteran, I also take notice of extra details that may need attention or extra care. I often bring my pet loving teenage daughters along so your pets can have some extra loving.

About: I have experience providing both overnight pet care and daily drop-in/walk visits for dogs of many different breeds, sizes, and ages. I enjoy caring for animals and believe dogs thrive with consistent attention, daily exercise, and loving care. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping pets company, I always make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their owners are away. I work in a school, so I currently have weekends available and I will have summer available to provide daily walks in a few weeks. Safety and fulfilling needs is my number one priority when I have a pet in my care. I will ensure that walks or visits are safe for your pet and that its needs are being met.
“Liz took such good care of my puppy! She was willing to work with me when I had a mix up. Sent some beautiful photos of my big boy too! Thank you Liz!”

About: I’ve been working with animals ever since I got a job. It’s definitely one of my passions in life and I can’t wait to meet more animals everyday. I work at a pet store! I do work full time about 40 hours a week. My schedule does vary but I’m very flexible and would love to figure out what works best for us both. I have two dogs so unfortunately I can’t do sitting at my house but would be willing to do whatever else works. I can do drop ins, house sit, or just take them for walks.

My family has had many different types of animals since I was a baby and love taking care of them. I have extensive experience in caring for cats, dogs, and horses - any size or age. I also have plenty of experience giving medications (pills, shots, ect) and have no issues with special requests. My older dog Dozer (who passed away at age 13 in April 2021) had Addisons and caratracts, so I have plenty of experience giving extra care when needed. I am currently am working a hybrid work schedule, but I work from home Thursdays and Fridays. On the weekends you will most likely find me out and about with my current dog Finnley. Finnley is a 5 year old Goldendoodle who loves life, people, treats and other dogs. We love to go to dog parks, the cottage, trails in the woods, car rides, the indoor dog park, and the Muskegon Dog Beach. I use positive reinforcement only and the dogs are of course allowed on the furniture. I have had many years of experience in training my own dogs and have no issues following any rules that you have for your pet. Finnley and I live in downtown Rockford. I also have access to the Rockford Dog Park, The Pack Indoor Dog park, Townsend Park, Grand Ravines Dog Park, trails in downtown Rockford, Grand Rogue Park, and the White Pine Trail. Finn and I are more than happy to have multiple dogs on our walks with us – the more the merrier! Finnley and I would love to take care of your fur family! Currently I am working a hybrid work schedule and only have to go in to work 3 days a week. The rest of the week I am working from home and take several long walks a day. If the weather is not great (rain, too cold, ect) I have access to The Pack indoor dog park. My current dog Finnley and I love to go for multiple long walks - both off leash in the woods and on leash downtown Rockford. We have multiple potty breaks a day, have plenty of toys to play with, and Finnley loves playing with other dogs. Finnley has full access to water all the time and gets fed twice a day. If I do have to leave the house, it is only for 5 hrs at a time maximum. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I have access to multiple dog parks, trails, and other areas for exercise. Finnley is crate trained and is in his kennel when I am out of the house & at night. I only take dogs out to go potty on a leash. My house is extremely pet proof.
