About: I have been taking care of pets since I was a young child. I have experience working at a doggy daycare/boarding facility as well as extensive experience working with animal welfare groups. I have 2 children who are in school all day and a husband who works from home. In the evening I am able to care for your pets also. I can currently come to your home to care for your pets. I find that pets tend to fare better with a pet sitter if they stay in their own home, a familiar place for them.
“They were amazing, beyond kind, and very responsive! They sent lots of pictures and kept up on all tasks asked! I would trust them again and again. Will be booking again for our next trip :) Thanks!”

“Oh my goodness, amazing! It’s clear she is an animal lover and caretaker. The thoughtful updates on what the kitties were up to and what she did during her time at the check in were so helpful and made me feel so at ease. Will DEFINITELY rebook. Thank you SO much Moira!!!”

“Abigail is super responsive and did a great job with our puppy. Our dog is working through separation anxiety so it was so nice to get pic updates. She was on time and I cannot speak highly enough about how responsive she was. Would recommend!”

“Ariel was communicative, friendly, and very easy to work with. She took great are of our cat, Ollie, with frequent drop-in visits while we were out of town. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

I do remote work right now so I have a lot of free time to spend with your fur babies! I am available for home stays or drop-ins of any length, and love to fill my time with sweet animals of all types and personalities! I am a very active person and love long walks but also love to curl up and cuddle with your fur babies on the couch with a good book. About: Over the past four years, I have house-sat a multitude of times for all types of animals; birds, dogs, and even cats. I make sure that they get lots of love and playtime when I'm with them and any other requests by the owners. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. I am a college student so I have a very flexible schedule! With my classes, there is plenty of time for me to spend time with your furry friends and give them all the love they deserve while you are gone! When at your home, I'll make sure that your pet(s) gets fed on time, takes long walks, is let out when needed, and gets plenty of time to play. I also love to take pictures to send when you're away because everyone needs to see their fur baby while they are away. As the owner of two dogs, I understand the importance of wanting someone that you can trust to take care of your loved ones and I always make sure I provide the service and time that I would want for my pets.
About: I've pet sat on and off for neighbors since I was a kid and grew up with dogs and cats in my own home. My childhood dog was the sweetest pitbull so I don't have any preconceived notions about any breed I love them all! I'm currently in real estate photography so I do shoots on and off during the day so if planned I can do stop ins and walks throughout the day. But for longer pet care I can do overnights on weekends. I'm very gentle with all animals but I also know how to handle difficult situations very well. It's very important for a pet owner to know how to deal with aggression/fights, sickness, running from the house, etc. and I've dealt with all of this and more.
“Annette was great! She watched May for three weeks while I was on a business trip. She was very responsive and always sent lots of update photos. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

About: Since I was five years old there’s always been a dog in my house. Currently I have a 7 year old rescue French bulldog named Lady. She came to us with multiple medical concerns and I feel very comfortable providing attention and care to dogs! I have experience dog sitting for multiple friends and I am looking to branch out. I’m currently at home full time and am able to have a flexible schedule to meet pets’ needs! Our dog Lady likes to go to our apartment dog run a few times a day. With the summer heat and her short snout, she can’t go for long walks, but she loves an afternoon nap. During this time I would be able to spend some solo time on a nice walk with another dog if they wanted! We have a fenced in dog run at the apartment and grassy areas nearby to explore. Our dog Lady loves company and playing - Especially with all her toys! We do have a crate for Lady when we leave the house. Dogs are allowed on the couch and on the bed. We have a long hallway that’s perfect for playing fetch too.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Walker
Morgen took care of our large furpup during a family wedding away from home. Our furpup is large and requires medication every 8 hrs. Morgen was excellent, on time, responsive and such a great person. Felt 100% comfortable leaving our pup in her care. She provided drop in visits and was awesome!

Paula is fantastic!!! I had a pet siter set up for my home but she had to cancel at the last minute. So instead I took my pups with me to my VRBO and hired Paula at last minute notice. We did the meet and greet and my girls Gabby & Gracie immediately loved her. She did a few drop in visits while I was at my conference and eased my anxiety that they were in a strange home without their mom. I would recommend you hire Paula, she will treat your pets like family.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Walker with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
