About: I’m a teacher looking to hangout with some cuddly pets this summer! I’ve had cats my entire life (27 years), including two who lived to be 18. I’m experienced with giving medication by syringe and caring for pets of all kinds. I’ve also helped care for friends’ dogs, birds, hamsters, and fish. I’m patient, gentle, and truly love animals. I’m currently a teacher and I have my summers off so my time is very flexible. I am looking for some cute animals to fill my schedule this summer! I treat every pet like family and follow any instructions closely to keep them happy and healthy. I’m respectful of clients’ homes, always clean up after pets, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
“Jasmine was my first encounter with this app and hiring a sitter. She set my mind at ease. She is very nice and caring. Our bulldog Lola seems to really like her! I will be reaching out to her again in the future when we need it.”

“Kaitlin did a fantastic job watching my two cats while I was on vacation! She paid close attention to details, asked great questions, and provided daily updates with photos. My cats warmed up to her quickly, which was great to see. I would definitely have Kaitlin watch them again.”
“Genevieve was very prompt in her response and had great communication! My dogs were taken care of and I had no messes to clean up when I came home, which is always a plus! Would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!”

“Alaina did a great job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She made sure to send photos and took time to play with them as well. I will hire her again!”

About: I’ve taken care of many different fury friends since I was a kid. I have currently have a dog of my own, but enjoy quality time with all animals:) I just graduated PA school and have not found a job yet, so I’m looking to make extra money. I have pretty open availability during the week. I love all animals! I respect all homes and make sure to leave everything better than I found it! I appreciate any tips/tricks to give your animal the best experience possible.
“This was the longest we've been away from our one cat since he was diagnosed with a heart issue and with Alyssa checking in on them it took away the stress/worry about if they were going to be ok.”

About: Animals of all kinds have a close spot to my heart. I’ve taken care of tons of different types of pets the past 5 years; snakes, amphibians, reptiles, rodents, farm animals, and, of course, cats and dogs! Respect for well-being, attention, and empathy are critical when working with pets, and I bring all of that to every pet and home I care for. I’m currently working full-time, with many days being virtual, so day visits can be accommodated. My availability, generally though, is most weekdays past 5 PM, and morning drop-in visits. Weekends have more availability. Overnight visits can be accommodated most days as well. I regularly like to check in on my pets to make sure their needs are met, regular bathing, and regular feeding. Engagement and stimulation are critical so toys, treats, play and attention are important for me to do regularly.
“Jessica gave my cats their medicine and hung out with them each evening when I was in Florida. Both the cats liked her, even my very shy cat. She passed zero judgement on my messy house. My cats felt safe with her and she did a great job! Highly recommend.”

Morgen took care of our large furpup during a family wedding away from home. Our furpup is large and requires medication every 8 hrs. Morgen was excellent, on time, responsive and such a great person. Felt 100% comfortable leaving our pup in her care. She provided drop in visits and was awesome!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
