About: I’ve had pets in my life since the day I was born. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs and even ducks! These days I have a dog (3 years old) and a cat (11 years old). I had a second cat who passed in 2022 from illness, so I have experience caring for animals of all ages and health. I am reliable, patient and caring with animals and will treat your pets like my own! My schedule is flexible and I am able to travel in the Grand Rapids area. Please feel free to reach out with any questions!! I work fully remote and have a very minimal meeting schedule Monday-Friday. My work is flexible so I am able to meet your pet care needs! I am also available on weekends! At our house, my dog goes potty either off leash in our backyard or on leash while we walk around the neighborhood. Our cat is strictly an indoor cat, but I grew up with indoor/outdoor cats and am happy to care for yours however you need! I’m here to meet your pets’ care needs, so please feel free to provide any special instructions. Whatever it is, I will be respectful of your pets, your space and your time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all my life within my own family as well as being trusted to watch over friends and family pets as well. This includes dogs of all sizes, medical needs, senior care, etc. I am able to be home to give your pet the attention and frequent potty breaks they may need and can provide frequent updates and photos while you’re away. I look forward to connecting! I am currently working from home only part time and would be able to watch over your pet in the home all hours of the day and week. I have a friendly dog at home that gets along great with others. I have a yard and would be able to take your dog out leashed and for walks as it is unfenced at this time. I can definitely crate your dog if needed, let them roam around if that’s what you’re comfortable with, provide medication as needed, etc.
“Holly Jean was wonderful! She sent me detailed updates about how her drop in visit went. She followed all my instructions perfectly. She was communicative during the booking process and did not hesitate to reach out if she had any further questions. I felt like my cats were well cared for with her!”
About: Hi! I am a 25 year old young professional. I grew up taking care of animals on my families farm. I am looking to get back into being able to care for animals and would love to meet your baby. I currently work full time but i have a flexible schedule and can work from home. i am currently available 4 days a week for walking and drop-ins. i can also be a pet sitter for your babies but since i am currently living in an apartment i prefer if its at your home as mine is small. I care for pets by providing a nice clean environment, taking them out to go to the bathroom one and hour, and going on plenty of long walks. I also own 4 cats who are all happy and healthy and deal with different feeding needs for each of them. with my extensive experience with dogs and cats and with caring for animals on my family farm i am very experienced and love animals of all kinds.

“Sara has quickly become our go-to sitter for a house full of animals, some with special needs, like a pup with epilepsy on several pills a day and an older cat with no teeth who needs separate food. Every time Sara has been here, we come back to happy pets and a happy home!”

“James is great with our dog Brody. Brody can be a lot to handle and I appreciate his mastery when it comes to caring for him. Brody looks so happy in all the pictures that James has shared. I’m very grateful for his help while I’ve been away!”

“Abigail did an excellent job taking care of my two cats over the holidays. She handled the instructions for my elders cat's medicine and particular feeding well. Overall I would trust her in the future to watch them again.”

“Lauren was a fantastic sitter for my two anxious cats. She took time to come over and meet us before I left & asked great questions to make sure she understood everything. I appreciated her photos & update and returned to 2 happy cats. Thank you Lauren!”

“Katie is truly a star sitter! We scheduled 3 drop-in visits for our 5 year old golden retriever and they went off without a hitch. Katie followed all our care instructions, took pictures and gave updates, and even took him on a walk and brought in some packages on the front porch to avoid them getting rained on. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Claire did a wonderful job checking in on our kitty everyday. She provided pictures as well as updates which we really appreciated! We would definitely book her again! Thank you so much Claire!”

About: I have been a dog sitter for the past 3 years. My experience has been from small dogs like yorkies to even bigger dogs like like Newfoundlands. I have also have experience dog sitting dogs who have just undergone surgery, who are deaf, and have other medicinal conditions. It is very important to me, to give them extra care and have them in their preferred environment. I am more than happy to stay at a home, to make it the best possible environment for the dog(s). I am a part time worker, recently graduated from Ferris State University. I have moved to Grand Rapids full time. With my availability, I am able to offer dog sitting, walking, and check ins services. I will dog sit at your own home. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Grand Rapids
Katie was fantastic with our sweet Loki! He warmed up to her almost instantly, and she did a great job communicating with my partner and I the whole time we were gone. This was the first time Loki has not been watched by someone in our family, and under her watch he was totally fine! We will definitely be repeat clients :-)

We absolutely loved having her care for our puppy, Oliver! She was kind, reliable, and took such great care of him during her drop-in visits. The updates and photos always made our day, and it was clear that Oliver was happy and comfortable with her. Knowing he was in such good hands gave us so much peace of mind. We would not hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her!

I had a great experience with our McKenzie! She dropped in to spend time with my puppy Barrett, and it was clear right away how comfortable and natural she is with dogs. She gave my pup plenty of attention, playtime, and care, which made a big difference in keeping him happy and stimulated while we were away. She was reliable and communicative! The best Rover experience I’ve had. I had peace of mind knowing Barrett was in good hands. I’ll definitely be booking with her routinely again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and great with dogs.

Love at first sight! Xylo absolutely LOVED his walk with Natalie. She showed up on time and even brought him a lovely treat as an introduction. We look forward to using Natalie whenever we are unable to give Xylo a walk. Great communication and care. HIGHLY recommend!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
