About: Volunteered and then worked full-time at an animal shelter, fell in love with our fluffy friends, and can't wait to make more! I was a long-time volunteer (2+ years) at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter. Then I transitioned into a full-time position there as an animal technician and learned so much about general animal care, medication procedures, and sanitation requirements to meet state health codes. I truly miss being able to visit with new animals every day and look forward to bringing the bark (and meow) back into my life! I'm a student, which means class times are often at odd hours, leaving many mornings open to check in on pets, keep them company, or get in some doggy exercise! About: I've taken care of my dog and family and friends dogs for many years. I even volunteered in an animal shelter for awhile as well! I currently run a small handmade business from my space. I do work a part-time service job a couple days of the week in a restaurant right now as well. Aside from dog sitting that's what I do financially. Kaitlyn is seriously amazing. My senior dog does not like everyone, but warmed to her on first meeting. She was consistent, kind, gave great updates, and took lots of sweet photos. Day 1, Kaitlyn had to take out our dog in a thunderstorm. She was patient and kind to him, and when all else failed, she carried him down the steps. All heros don't wear capes!
