About: Over the past four years, I have house-sat a multitude of times for all types of animals; birds, dogs, and even cats. I make sure that they get lots of love and playtime when I'm with them and any other requests by the owners. I have administered medicine to pets while I have house sat so there would be no worries while you are away! I have experience with foster dogs as well and volunteer at Animal Rescue Project. I am a college student so I have a very flexible schedule! With my classes, there is plenty of time for me to spend time with your furry friends and give them all the love they deserve while you are gone! When at your home, I'll make sure that your pet(s) gets fed on time, takes long walks, is let out when needed, and gets plenty of time to play. I also love to take pictures to send when you're away because everyone needs to see their fur baby while they are away. As the owner of two dogs, I understand the importance of wanting someone that you can trust to take care of your loved ones and I always make sure I provide the service and time that I would want for my pets.

“What an amazing experience. Michael is the best dog walker Gideòn has ever had and that includes myself. Gideòn absolutely loves him. Michael is prompt and courteous. He's even moved some of my packages inside my door when he picked up Gideòn for his walk. He has made what would be a nervous experience for both parties into something enjoyable. Gideòn seems invigorated by their walks. I was hoping Michael's walks would make Gideòn tired but it has seemed to have the opposite effect. I'm unsure whether to reprimand Michael or just be excited Gideòn is enthused with the new friendship lol. Michael is a great guy, great walker, and truly a dog's best friend. About: I used to operate a rescue and shelter outside of Atlanta. I have experience with all types of animals in all types of conditions. Familiar with special needs, dietary restrictions, after surgery care, blind animals and more. I have always been an animal lover and I currently have 3 dogs I would like to make pet care my full time job. I currently do some side work in the construction field but would really enjoy spending all my time with the pets if possible I have a fenced in yard and two fully separated areas of the house and garage that open into the yard that can accommodate any animals who aren’t comfortable around other pets. I let my dogs on the couches and beds and they have free reign of the house

About: I love dogs and have been around them for my whole life. I particularly love small breeds and grew up in a house full of yorkies. We often had litters of puppies and I learned from a very young age how to handle, care for, and train dogs from birth. As an adult, I've had two male shih tzus from early puppyhood into adulthood, and they've joined me on many adventures. My first had his share of health issues, so I'm experienced with administering eye drops, ear drops, oral medications, and post surgical care. He suffered from cataracts and glaucoma in his senior years which eventually resulted in the loss of his vision, so I'm also experienced with the unique challenges of blind pets. I will love on your dogs like my own when they are in my care! I'm currently taking a career break and have an incredibly flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from Monday - Friday, for drop-ins. Keeping your pet safe and well cared for while you are away is my top priority. I will happily provide text and photo updates to put you at ease!

About: I have owned two dogs and they were my responsibilities to take care of them. More recently I had a 16 year old dog that I would consider my “soul dog”. She taught me how to be prepared for every stage in a dogs life ~ from puppy, to psycho hyper dog, to well behaved, to maybe doesn’t do well with other dogs, to being needy and wanting extra love, or to her wanting her alone time. She also taught me towards the end of her life how on top of appointments I needed to be or how to trick her into taking her medicine (as that was a hassle) and to pay extra attention for signs of not feeling good. I will make sure your dog gets the love and attention it needs! I love to play with dogs and miss having a companion. If your dog likes to go to the dog park I’ll take them! I think it’s good for dogs to socialize with others, unless there are circumstances that prevent that from happening that’s understandable as well. Choose me to make sure your dog gets taken care of the right way! I currently work Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30 with the availability to go home on lunches. I will make sure to adjust my schedule to what your dog needs. I currently have a roommate with a dog and help her out when needed or take her dog to the dog park when I can tell she needs socialization. I always make time to go outside. I’ll have treats to offer. Your dog will get a lot of attention with me. I’ll make sure to comfort them since they will be without their owner! I am respectful of others home’s and follow instructions for their pets.

About: I have had dogs my entire life, and always contributed to their care and look forward to having one of my own. I have a Sphynx cat named Olive who is my baby. I also have a pet ornate box turtle named Tammy and I treat both as my children, so I have experience caring for reptiles. I also have experience caring for rodents for the past two years. I have watched many of my neighbors dogs before while out of town, as well as my friends cats. I have 2 years of experience of being one of the only people doing Rover in Marquette MI, and had at least one dog staying with me every day for that time on top of doing house visit, so I have lots and lots of Rover experience! (Most of my repeat clients moved to off Rover arrangements) I am currently a medical student in Grand Rapids so my hours are a little limited now, and I can no longer board as I live in an apartment. However, I’m off for the summer and would love to watch/walk some fur babies! I’m currently on summer break from medical school, so I have availability pretty much every week day. However, I have a lot of weekend trips planned, so my weekend dates are limited. I will say I do prefer to sleep at my own house, but for house sitting can do as many drop in visits as needed and can stay for long periods of time. I am able to take the animals on long walks or hikes if that is desired, am available for around the clock care, and have experience with reptiles, rodents, cats, and dogs. I have lots of experience hosting dogs at my home. Now, I can adapt to any animals needs and follow any plans or routines you give me!
