I am home 4 days per week with a varying work schedule. I can sometimes make accommodations with advanced notice. I will walk and care for your small to medium-sized pooch in my home. I will provide love and energetic walks and lots of snuggles. I have cared for puppies all the way through to hospice care. I always leash animals while outside and on walks. I prefer a harness. I individualize walks to your dog’s activity level and needs.

About: I've had dogs in my home all my life. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds and sizes. I love dogs and will care for each one with whatever is needed. I may even read to my pets my stories or other stories just for fun! I have a fenced yard, and currently have two puppies (about 1 year) that are staying for now. We have a dog crate, so I can move them around as needed. We're hoping to get a puppy of our own again when these young ones move out. I do have vision and hearing issues, which can result in some trouble seeing or balance issues. I can handle big dogs, but smaller is naturally easier.

About: I worked for five years as a veterinary assistant/technician at a facility that offered boarding, where I became kennel manager. I'm confident working with seniors, medical cases, behavorial cases, and puppies. For all weekend drop-ins, my partner Alex will be accompanying me. I will be doing all pet care, but for my safety he'll be accompanying me. He'll be there to provide a little extra affection and play-time for your pets if they're interested. My schedule is open! I am a stay st home wife so I'll be able to devote plenty of time to your pets. I will have my partner, Alex, accompany me to all first visits for safety. He will also accompany me on any weekend drop ins. All pet care will be done by me, but Alex will give them a little extra love when applicable. I'm used to doing various different routines to care for pets. I have a dog of my own who's very friendly- if your pup needs a friend we can set up a play date! I'm mostly excited to offer one on one care for your pets in a way I was unable to do at a boarding facility.

About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up but I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around many different dogs with all sorts of training and personalities. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.

I have been working in veterinary medicine for over four years and have worked with large animals, exotics, pocket pets, and of course, cats and dogs. Making sure that animals are fed, loved, and taken care of when their humans are away is my top priority! I do work full time, so I try to schedule drop-off visits and walks before and/or after work. Most weekends I am available at any time. I prioritize play time with my kitten. When I am visiting my family dogs, I make sure they go for walks and play outside as much as they like.
