I am available to walk or board your pooch in my home in Byron Center and provide a safe, fun , healthy environment for your small to medium-sized pup. I am home 4 days per week with a varying work schedule. I can sometimes make accommodations with advanced notice. I will walk and care for your small to medium-sized pooch in my home. About: II’ve been pet sitting for my sister for the past two years, including full week stays while her family travels. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, and I truly cannot imagine life without them as part of the family. About: I’ve had the privilege of helping out with walks, dog sitting, and overall care of many furry friends of those around me for as long as I can remember. Growing up I’d help family friends, family members, and neighbors with their pets, and continued to do so throughout high school, and now college. Although pets are a no go in my immediate family, I love being around pets and enjoy every second I can get with them! I’m currently a college student who works part time, meaning I have plenty of time on my hands to help out where needed. The luxury of a college schedule, besides the homework, is that I can be flexible and open to odd hours throughout the week! I’ve always been easily adaptable to the habits and routines that were required in each household that I’ve helped out, so keeping that trend won’t be a problem at all!

About: I’ve been working as a professional pet sitter and dog walker for over seven years. I’ve been howled at, licked, bitten, pooped and peed on, dragged into a lake, growled at, barked at...and I will always be up for more! I live in Grandville with my two children (18 and 12) who are also animal lovers. We also have a senior Maltese Yorkie Shitzhu mix named Irie, who is a grumpy old man and a ferocious beast (he thinks). I work full-time as a marketing consultant. I love to play with dogs for exercise and as a reminder to not take life so seriously! Sometimes communicating with animals is much easier than communicating with humans! :)

About: I grew up around dogs and now have two cats! My love for animals began when I was three years old and my mom brought home our first family dog, Blossom. Over the past twenty years, we have been lucky to know and love seven dogs and know how to provide proper care. I am no stranger to giving pets medicine, senior care, or puppy care. As an adult, I welcomed my first cat, Corn, into my life. From there, I adopted two other sweet cats named Barry and Bert who are a loving and goofy addition to our home. I am a high school history teacher out for the summer! I know how important it is to keep your pets' schedules; they have needs that need to me met, too! I am happy to work with your schedule and I am flexible with dates and times when needed. Should you trust me with your pet, I will provide them with the most comfort possible! It isn't easy when we have to leave our pets, so I am happy to provide any photo updates during our visits and daily feedback on how your pet is doing! Should you choose to board your cat with us, they will have their own separate suite to decompress, relax, and unwind while you are gone!

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! LIFE UPDATE!!! I’ve been hired as a camp counselor at Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care and overnight boarding facility! Right now I have training scheduled from June 30 to July 2 and July 6, all for days I’ll be unavailable from 11 am to 3 pm. Once I’m done with training, I should hopefully be getting a work schedule that I will use to update my scheduling here on Rover! So please forgive me for the next couple of weeks while I get everything settled! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: As a life-long pet owner, I’ve loved our pets through rambunctious puppy-hood and curious kittens all the way through tender care as they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. I currently have an elderly dog named Callie and 2 lovable kittens named Mustard and Relish. As a family, we volunteer to clean and feed the cats at Grandville’s Community Cat Crew every weekend. I’m excited to love and care for your pets the same as I do our own! I work in the schools, so during the summers and on the weekends, I’m available and flexible to meet the needs of your pets— early mornings, late nights, multiple times a day, I’m here! I approach each pet based on their response— if they are excited and rambunctious, I will jump in and play and walk. If they are cautious and reserved, I will take the time to patiently wait for them to approach me for love and care.

About: I've taken care if dogs and cat since I was a teenager for my grandparents. I love taking care of and and playing with animals. I worked a full time job as well as has another part time job and Im only able to care for animals on the weekend I can come to your home and take care of the dog I've taken care of dogs for several years now so I know all that goes into take care of a dog.
