About: As a life-long pet owner, I’ve loved our pets through rambunctious puppy-hood and curious kittens all the way through tender care as they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. I currently have an elderly dog named Callie and 2 lovable kittens named Mustard and Relish. As a family, we volunteer to clean and feed the cats at Grandville’s Community Cat Crew every weekend. I’m excited to love and care for your pets the same as I do our own! I work in the schools, so during the summers and on the weekends, I’m available and flexible to meet the needs of your pets— early mornings, late nights, multiple times a day, I’m here! I approach each pet based on their response— if they are excited and rambunctious, I will jump in and play and walk. If they are cautious and reserved, I will take the time to patiently wait for them to approach me for love and care.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My sister worked at a zoo, so our home was basically a mini-safari—dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and the occasional surprise guest. Growing up around such a wide variety of animals taught me patience, respect, and how to read their personalities. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or a bit of both, I know how to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently a stay at home mom caring for my 6 year old son who is recovering from cancer. This job will allow the flexibility and meet the “out of public” requirement as our family needs to avoid illness while he recovers. Other than a 2-3 hour clinic visit twice a week, I am home and available. I have a fenced in yard back yard and a mostly quiet neighborhood where kids can play in the street safely. I have 2 cats and a rabbit of my own. All 3 are indoor animals with free range of the house. My rabbit has his own little house in our living room that he can safely retreat to when he’s not out for play time. A perfect space for any curious pet visitors we may have as they won’t be able to access him and cause any ruckus. If I am coming to your home, you can expect more than just a quick feed and potty break. Owners leaving can cause anxiety and stress on a pet. I have the time and heart to offer love, playtime, or needed snuggles and comfort your pet might miss while you’re away.

About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up but I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around many different dogs with all sorts of training and personalities. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.

About: II’ve been pet sitting for my sister for the past two years, including full week stays while her family travels. During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have my own dog and cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I take my dog on regular walks and love bringing her to the park. Sometimes my cat even joins the adventure! My goal is simple: keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3–6 pm. Outside those hours I’m available for walks, play, feeding, and maintaining your pet’s schedule; I’ll update you if anything changes. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—so they feel relaxed and stress-free. About: I’ve been working as a professional pet sitter and dog walker for over seven years. I’ve been howled at, licked, bitten, pooped and peed on, dragged into a lake, growled at, barked at...and I will always be up for more! I live in Grandville with my two children (18 and 12) who are also animal lovers. We also have a senior Maltese Yorkie Shitzhu mix named Irie, who is a grumpy old man and a ferocious beast (he thinks). I work full-time as a marketing consultant. I love to play with dogs for exercise and as a reminder to not take life so seriously! Sometimes communicating with animals is much easier than communicating with humans! :)

About: I have taken care of others’ pets from a young age. Growing up with an interest in animals, I moved on to my academic career, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. During my time in school, I had the opportunity to train service dogs, sit and train pets from many different families, and even adopt two pets of my own! Following my academic career in Animal Science, I moved on to a position in Veterinary Pharmacy. I have since moved on to be a dairy cattle embryologist. All of my education, skills and experience have allowed me to prove my abilities in animal care, handling, and safety. There is no animal I would shy away from, no matter their quirks. I am currently working full time, but only work a 4 day week, with shifts ending around 8am, 10:00am at the very latest. This allows me to be available at very early hours in the morning, and throughout the remainder of the days that I work! I live in the downtown environment which will offer great socialization for your pets. I also am able to take pets to trails, neighborhood walks, and offer adventures while you are away.
