“She was great. Our girls love it when she comes to cat sit. Maelee is very attentive, sends and gives lots of updates and photos. She does a great job!!! I asked if she would do a quick vacuum because our cats are super messy with their litter and I appreciated that very much. We can’t wait to have her back!!! Thanks for a great job.”

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for cats through owning family pets and helping care for cats belonging to friends and relatives. As a pre-veterinary student at Grand Valley State University, I am passionate about animal health, safety, and well-being. I have gained hands-on experience through veterinary shadowing, where I observed animal handling, patient care, and communication with pet owners. I understand that every cat has a unique personality and comfort level. Whether your cat enjoys playtime and attention or prefers a quieter environment, I am committed to providing patient, attentive care that helps them feel safe and comfortable while you are away. I am also comfortable maintaining litter boxes, monitoring eating and drinking habits, and following specific care instructions.
“Aracely is the ultimate cat whisperer! This was our third time having her look after our home, and even for just a short visit, she continues to impress. Leaving a big pet family behind can be stressful, but knowing our six cats are in such great hands gives us total peace of mind. Aracely handles everyone’s individual quirks and needs like an absolute pro, ensuring they are not only well-fed but genuinely comfortable and content for the rest of the day. Every time we get back, everything is perfect and it’s clear our crew is happy and at ease. Huge shoutout to Aracely for taking such amazing care of them—we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“Dawnn was the BEST! From the very first meeting, it was clear how much she truly loves and understands animals. She took the time to learn about our pets’ routines, quirks, and favorite activities, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in her care.”

“Thank you Kelsey for taking such good care of my kitty Sonny! He's doing great, as if I never left. I truly appreciate your kindness to him, and your work and attention to detail. Blessings to you. :)”

“10/10 highly recommended. We had Sarah do drop in visits once per day for our cats over Christmas vacation. We were really nervous to leave our cats for a week because this was our first vacation since having them. We have one cat who is absolutely terrified of strangers and would prefer to hide under the bed all day and another cat who likes to sneak out the front door and explore. Sarah came in on the first day and became best friends with BOTH of my cats. Even my shy cat greeted her every day after and played with her throughout the visit. She did such an amazing job at keeping my cats inside, fed, and happy! My cats had such a good time while we were gone that they weren’t even bothered that we left! Sarah is a lifesaver for us and we will never stop recommending her!! Book today!”

“Much confidence going into the visit, with a meet and greet prior to. We really appreciated Jaclyn’s message detailing how the kitties were doing and about how she spent time playing with them. The pictures were very nice too :) We felt very confident that great care was provided for our kitties and will be using her again.”

“Annette was great! She watched May for three weeks while I was on a business trip. She was very responsive and always sent lots of update photos. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

About: My name is Sara and I have been an animal lover my entire life. I have had experience caring for dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, and even wild animals! I have a Basset Hound named Minnow who wants to be friends with anything that moves. I can stop by your home to care for larger animals like dogs, cats, etc. But I am totally cool with your small animal (I.e. Guinea pigs, rats, rabbits, etc.) staying with me if needed. I would be honored to care for your pets, spoil them, and treat them like my own. I’m currently working full time 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday. I can stop by your house to care for your animal early morning, on my lunch break, after work, and any time on the weekends. I have a safe and separate room I can place your small animal in while caring for them. A cage provided by the owner is required.

About: I’ve had cats before I was even born! My parents rescued a cat a year before I was born and he was 20 years old before he passed away. He was treated like any other family member and he sparked my deep love for cats. So much so that I rescued a kitten from Texas when I was 10 years old and I learned even more about the care and dedication it takes to have a cat. Then 10 years later I officially adopted my own cat from TC Paws Rescue! He came to me with stomach issues that required him to be on medicated kibble and I fought to find the root cause of his issue to help his quality of life. I soon found out that he has a food intolerance to all seafood! After cutting out all the fish products from his diet, he hasn’t had any stomach issues since! And to me this is an example of the unconditional love that cats teach you. I could’ve kept my cat on that kibble diet and not question it but cats are family and like family you fight for them no matter what. Regardless of the hassle or battle it may cause because every animal should have the best chance at a wonderful life and we’re their advocates.

“Jenn did a wonderful job caring for our anxious dog Isaac! I appreciate that she did a meet and greet with us at a local dog park before Isaac's stay, it really help put our minds at ease. Isaac liked Jen immediately and seemed happy to arrive back on his second day of daycare. We plan to continue to use Jen in the future!”

“I had a last minute trip to Grand Rapids for work and spent time looking for the perfect fit to watch my 7 mo old puppy during the day. Once I came across Anne’s profile, I’d hoped for a good experience and let me tell you, Anne and her family were absolutely amazing! They were super attentive to my pup — taking him for walks, allowing him to play with their animals, and maintaining structure for him by encouraging rest time, and correcting his behavior. Every time I came to pick him up, he was so sad to leave and he was super excited to be back at their house each time I dropped him off! I can’t sing their praises enough, it means the world to me that they helped me in a pinch and that they did an exceptional job! Any time I return to the area, Anne will be my go-to everytime!”

“Krysten was very easy to communicate with and made us feel confident leaving Daryl in her care. He seemed to have made himself at home and enjoyed his visit. We would certainly book with Krysten again.”

“My YorkiePoo loves his buddy Terry and his wife, Chuckie. He attends doggy daycare weekly and is always at our garage door ready to go. He has met several playmates and is always excited when I pick him up.🐶🐾🐕🦺”

“Melissa was absolutely awesome taking care of our dog, Finn! She’s so friendly and Finn felt comfortable with her right away. I felt good leaving him in her hands. I definitely recommend her if you need some doggie daycare!”

“We had a great experience with Shannon taking care of our dog, Stitch. She was very kind, gentle, and attentive throughout the entire time. It gave us real peace of mind knowing that Stitch was in such good hands.”

“Kristopher and his family were so welcoming to Daryl, and there was a lovely dynamic among the dogs. They provided all Daryl’s favorite things: other dogs, family, and space to play. We had absolutely no qualms leaving him there. Communication with Kristopher was very easy. We will definitely reach out again!”

“Chris and Vashti are great! They’re almost always available, even when I need daycare last minute. They share constant updates throughout the day. I get photos and messages showing Cinder Block having the best time, which makes it so much easier to leave him knowing he’s in great hands. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they watch, not just going through the motions. Cinder comes home happy, tired, and clearly well cared for every single time. Couldn’t recommend them more.”

“Lynn was very accommodating to my last minute request for doggy day care. She understood the differing needs of my two dogs and was very patient and sensitive with my puppies comfort levels in regard to socialization and food allergies. My pups had a great time with their furry friends and came home tuckered out and happy!”

About: I am a dog lover who loves to meet more pets! I have 2 Westies and we spend hours outside each day in the yard or walking at a park. As a pet lover, I will care for your pet as I do mine, and they are spoiled! I am home almost all the time. I wander around our 3 acres and love to garden. I take my dogs for a walk almost daily. I am with the dogs almost all the time. If I have to go run an errand, I can crate them. They are allowed on the furniture with me.

About: I’ve always had pets and currently have two goldens and a cat. I absolutely love animals and now that my own human kids are grown I have extra time on my hands and I’d love help you spoil your fur babies. I’m happy to walk them, sit with them, play in the yard or whatever helps them feel loved when you’re not home ❤️ After 15 years as a parapro in a special needs preschool classroom I have recently taken a new position as a Marketing Assistant. I usually work on Tuesday and Wednesday but can have availability on those days in the evening and most of the day on M/T/TH/F and on weekends. I am excited to get to know you and your fur babies! I am unable to care for your pets in my own home right now but am happy to drop in and let yours out to potty, feed them, play fetch or other outdoor games, go for a walk, or just sit and snuggle if that’s what they prefer 😊 I am also comfortable giving medications if need be with instruction and a demonstration from you. I previously had a dog with diabetes and am experienced in giving insulin injections.

About: I have been familiar with dog care since I was 4, but became involved with training and working with dogs as a teen. I have previously worked in dog boarding and am familiar with dog behavior cues. I enjoy caring for dogs of all ages. I work part time with Paws With A Cause and have my own pup at home, so caring with and playing with dogs of all kinds is second nature to me. I prefer to let you and your dog lead the way, whether that be letting them keep their well-worn routines or branching out for adventures. I have utmost respect for your and your dogs’ spaces, time, and preferences.
“Hawraa is amazing, she met us before the initial walk. I am a first time Rover user so I was very nervous but she cared for my Poppy as if she was her own. Definitely will book again!”

“Julio has been an amazing dog walker for my Labrador Retriever mix, Sadie! He’s always communicative, reliable, and flexible with our schedule. What truly sets him apart is the genuine love and compassion he shows toward animals — Sadie absolutely loves him. He consistently goes above and beyond, and I fully trust him with any pet service. I highly recommend Julio to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, dependable, and truly caring with pets!”

About: As a life-long pet owner, I’ve loved our pets through rambunctious puppy-hood and curious kittens all the way through tender care as they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. I currently have an elderly dog named Callie and 2 lovable kittens named Mustard and Relish. As a family, we volunteer to clean and feed the cats at Grandville’s Community Cat Crew every weekend. I’m excited to love and care for your pets the same as I do our own! I work in the schools, so during the summers and on the weekends, I’m available and flexible to meet the needs of your pets— early mornings, late nights, multiple times a day, I’m here! I approach each pet based on their response— if they are excited and rambunctious, I will jump in and play and walk. If they are cautious and reserved, I will take the time to patiently wait for them to approach me for love and care.
“My old pup can be anxious and ramped up with care givers so I am delighted that he was calm with Tyler. I will definitely have Tyler take care of my fur babe again knowing I can depend on him and will not be stressed while on vacation.”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My sister worked at a zoo, so our home was basically a mini-safari—dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and the occasional surprise guest. Growing up around such a wide variety of animals taught me patience, respect, and how to read their personalities. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or a bit of both, I know how to make them feel comfortable and cared for. I’m currently a stay at home mom caring for my 6 year old son who is recovering from cancer. This job will allow the flexibility and meet the “out of public” requirement as our family needs to avoid illness while he recovers. Other than a 2-3 hour clinic visit twice a week, I am home and available. I have a fenced in yard back yard and a mostly quiet neighborhood where kids can play in the street safely. I have 2 cats and a rabbit of my own. All 3 are indoor animals with free range of the house. My rabbit has his own little house in our living room that he can safely retreat to when he’s not out for play time. A perfect space for any curious pet visitors we may have as they won’t be able to access him and cause any ruckus. If I am coming to your home, you can expect more than just a quick feed and potty break. Owners leaving can cause anxiety and stress on a pet. I have the time and heart to offer love, playtime, or needed snuggles and comfort your pet might miss while you’re away.
About: II’ve been pet sitting for my sister for the past two years, including full week stays while her family travels. During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. I also have my own dog and cat, so I’m very comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I take my dog on regular walks and love bringing her to the park. Sometimes my cat even joins the adventure! My goal is simple: keep your pet happy, safe, and well cared for. I work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 3–6 pm. Outside those hours I’m available for walks, play, feeding, and maintaining your pet’s schedule; I’ll update you if anything changes. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and at home whether I’m caring for them in my space or in theirs. I follow their normal routine as closely as possible—feeding, walks, playtime, and cuddle time—so they feel relaxed and stress-free. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality and needs, since every pet is different. I keep a clean, pet-friendly environment and always make sure doors, gates, and supplies are secure. When I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with respect and make sure everything stays neat while giving their pets plenty of love and attention. I also like to send updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are happy, safe, and having fun.

I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.

About: I’ve been working as a professional pet sitter and dog walker for over seven years. I’ve been howled at, licked, bitten, pooped and peed on, dragged into a lake, growled at, barked at...and I will always be up for more! I live in Grandville with my two children (18 and 12) who are also animal lovers. We also have a senior Maltese Yorkie Shitzhu mix named Irie, who is a grumpy old man and a ferocious beast (he thinks). I work full-time as a marketing consultant. I love to play with dogs for exercise and as a reminder to not take life so seriously! Sometimes communicating with animals is much easier than communicating with humans! :)
About: I have taken care of others’ pets from a young age. Growing up with an interest in animals, I moved on to my academic career, where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Animal Science. During my time in school, I had the opportunity to train service dogs, sit and train pets from many different families, and even adopt two pets of my own! Following my academic career in Animal Science, I moved on to a position in Veterinary Pharmacy. I have since moved on to be a dairy cattle embryologist. All of my education, skills and experience have allowed me to prove my abilities in animal care, handling, and safety. There is no animal I would shy away from, no matter their quirks. I am currently working full time, but only work a 4 day week, with shifts ending around 8am, 10:00am at the very latest. This allows me to be available at very early hours in the morning, and throughout the remainder of the days that I work! I live in the downtown environment which will offer great socialization for your pets. I also am able to take pets to trails, neighborhood walks, and offer adventures while you are away. In your home, I am able to offer a sense of companionship and play. I hope to be a highlight of your pets’ day!
