“We took a chance and hired Elise without meeting her first due to time constraints. She was awesome with our cats! We have 5 cats, 6 litter boxes, daily medication, and occasional vomiting/peeing outside the box. Elise handled everything matter-of-factly, like she has seen and handled it all. When we returned, our cats were happy, healthy, and all accounted for. Elise was on time for every visit, spent the right amount of time, and sent me pictures and an update after every visit. Our house looked just like I left it, with everything clean and in order. We would definitely hire Elise again and I highly recommend her.”

“We had Broooke check in on our 3 cats while we were on vacation. This was our first time using Rover and I was pretty anxious about having someone we don’t know do this. Brooke turned out to be very reliable and did a great job with her daily check-ins and pictures. Our cats are pretty incognito with strangers, so she really worked hard to get pictures! 😊 We appreciate all she did and we wouldn’t hesitate to use Brooke again.”

“Maelee is very detailed, thorough, communicative, and knowledgeable. She arrived on time for each drop in visit, kept us very informed each time, and made sure our kitties were taken care of before she left. Will absolutely hire again!”

About: I've had dogs in my home all my life. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds and sizes. I love dogs and will care for each one with whatever is needed. I'm not afraid to try something new. I create stories and share them with others. Whether it's through my YouTube channel or publishing books, I enjoy stories. I may even read to my pets my stories or other stories just for fun! I have a fenced yard, and currently have two puppies (about 1 year) that are staying for now. We have a dog crate, so I can move them around as needed. We're hoping to get a puppy of our own again when these young ones move out. I do have vision and hearing issues, which can result in some trouble seeing or balance issues. I can handle big dogs, but smaller is naturally easier.
“Michelle was AWESOME! She is kind, professional, and punctual. We loved all the thorough notes we got from each visit. She was able to help us out with a last minute need and we will seek out her services again in the future.”

“This was my first booking with Felicia, and she was wonderful. I have one cat that is shy/skittish until he gets to know you. He warmed up to Felicia quicker than I expected. Based on the photos she provided, both of my cats appeared to love her. I had excellent communication with Felicia about what I needed and questions she had. I would book Felicia again in a heartbeat.”

“Dawnn does a great job taking care of our furry boy! She communicates well and let's us know if she notices things about my boy or the house that may be off. She's been kind enough to help with bringing on our trash/recycling bins out deliveries, too. Love her and would highly recommended her.”

“Alice has come to watch Millie and let her out to potty on multiple occasions. It gives me peace knowing that my puppy is so well cared for while I’m gone. She is trustworthy, communicative and detail-oriented. I will definitely have her back, Millie loves her too 💗”

“Brandi was awesome. Booked her last minute. And she came for a meet and greet that evening. Followed all the care instructions I asked. Very happy with her visit-follow up-and photos. Will definitely be a repeat customer!”

“Highly recommend Krysten for any pet needs. Her and her partner took amazing care of our 2 cats and bunny. Her first visit she noticed my bunny actually needed to see any emergency vet. She brought him in and stayed with him on the holiday. She truly cares about your pets wellbeing. Highly recommend her and her I’ll definitely use her again.”

“Cindy went above and beyond with our three cats. She was communicative with questions when it came to our special needs cat and was extremely alert and attentive. Also kudos to her because our youngest can be a bit of a challenge, but she handed them all perfectly. I would definitely trust her again with our pets.”

About: I've taken care of my dog and family and friends dogs for many years. I even volunteered in an animal shelter for awhile as well! I currently run a small handmade business from my space. I spend a lot of time outdoors with my own dog, we like to run, play fetch, chase squirrels, and spend time treat training. I make sure a walk and quality time are prioritys with animals. I do not take dogs into my living space as I live with friends currently and on the road at times, so I prefer to go to your home and location. I'm very flexible! :)
About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up but I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around many different dogs with all sorts of training and personalities. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Cutlerville
I always love working with Alyssa on Rover. She is so sweet and follows all directions perfectly. She always leaves very sweet updates and photos for me and responds quickly. I am very thankful for her when we go out of town to check on my kitties. Thank you Alyssa!

Elizabeth took care of my 2 kitties! She was a warrior trampling thru 2 feet of snow to get to my house…. That in it self was awesome! She did everything that I asked and went above and beyond feeding my outdoor kitties also. She kept the house clean the kitty boxes clean. My cats are happy and healthy. Thank you, Elizabeth!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
