“Peyton did a great job communicating with me to make arrangements, hds a quick meetup with me too see the layout of the house and such, and then was consistent with visits and slight changes to the schedule which we discussed before the booking. Thanks for taking great care of our Pierre!”

“Aracely is the ultimate cat whisperer! This was our third time having her look after our home, and even for just a short visit, she continues to impress. Leaving a big pet family behind can be stressful, but knowing our six cats are in such great hands gives us total peace of mind. Aracely handles everyone’s individual quirks and needs like an absolute pro, ensuring they are not only well-fed but genuinely comfortable and content for the rest of the day. Every time we get back, everything is perfect and it’s clear our crew is happy and at ease. Huge shoutout to Aracely for taking such amazing care of them—we’ll definitely be booking her again!”

“I was worried about leaving my 17-year-old cat while we were gone over a week for spring break but I felt much better with Brandi’s visits and thorough reports. And pictures. I know Mr Petey was lonely but also know he got a ton of lovings while she was here. She was friendly and kind and very professional and I would happily use her for Mr Petey again!”
“Corinna did a wonderful job of caring for our pups while we were away. She followed my instructions perfectly and everything looked great when we returned. I highly recommend Corinna and will be aaking her to watch our dogs again!”

“Madison took a chance watching my very active dog without meeting him first! She was very patient and spent extra time letting Bear get comfortable with her! She even brought him treats! I would recommend Madison to anyone with a slightly nervous dog and high energy!”

About: I've had pets since I was 14 yrs old. I have done the puppy stage to helping my senior dog at the end of her life. Your pet will be allowed on all the furniture. Cuddles are a must in my household. I am comfortable with giving medicine or any other treatment your pet may need while in my care. I work full time, but I am able to come home on my lunch break. I am avaible for long visits or short visits. I am very accomodating to your pets schedule and needs. I live in a townhouse. I do not have a fenced in yard, but they do have a small fenced in area for your dog to run around in. There is lots of room for long or short walks. I also live right next to The Ravines if you are comfortable with me taking your pet to the dog park.
About: I currently have 2 dogs which I help to take care of. I have grown up around dogs my whole life so I have plenty of experience. I am not currently working and I have a lot of free time, so most of the time I’m available. Can usually work around your schedule. I have two dogs in my home which are friendly. I’m willing to come to you and I am most likely local to you based on my settings so it shouldn’t ever be an issue.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I grew up with dogs in the house constantly and always watching family, friends, and neighbors dogs! I am currently a stay at home mom to my sweet baby boy! So my schedule is very flexible as long as I can adjust around nap time. He would be tagging along for any visits or walks! I am very good at following directions to a T and keeping things clean and organized. I have cared for older animals that needed medications to younger ones that need extra attention!

About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I’m free from 6am-11pm on weekdays! I do work full-time but my boss is lenient and he’d have no problem with me tending to your furry friends! I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I would prefer to keep your animals in the comfort of their own home though due to my dogs being very playful, if your dogs are comfortable being in a high-energy setting it would be no problem but they don’t need added stress from my rowdy bunch.
About: Hi, I’m Jen, and animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my family always treated our pets like family members. I’ve had many years of hands-on experience with everything from raising playful puppies and kittens to caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I’ve never met an animal I didn’t feel comfortable with, and dogs are my absolute favorite! Today, I have two large dogs of my own, and if you ask my college-aged kids, they’ll jokingly tell you the dogs have taken their place as the “favorite children” of the house. But that’s just what happens when you love dogs as much as I do—they become family. When I care for your pet, I treat them like one of my own. I believe pet care goes beyond just meeting their basic needs—it’s about making them feel happy, engaged, and loved. Whether it’s a game of fetch with their favorite toy, a walk filled with exciting sniffs and discoveries, or cozy cuddle time on the couch, I’m committed to giving your dog the attention and care they deserve. With my experience and passion for animals, you can rest easy knowing your furry friend is in good hands. My goal is to provide the kind of care that keeps tails wagging and pet parents feeling confident and worry-free. I can’t wait to meet your pup and help them feel right at home! I was recently laid off from my full time job and looking to use dog care services as an additional side income while I determine what’s next for my career. This means I have open availability unless otherwise noted on the app. When caring for pets, their safety and happiness are my top priorities. Whether at my home or yours, I always follow consistent routines to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I take the time to learn each dog’s unique needs, habits, and preferences, ensuring that they receive personalized care. In my home, I provide a pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax and play. I carefully monitor interactions between my pets to ensure everyone feels safe and stress-free. I also supervise outdoor time and take care to keep my dogs in secure areas (like my fenced back yard) to help prevent accidents or escapes. In your home, I strive to maintain your pet’s usual routine, including meal times, walks, and playtime. I will respect your home by following any specific rules or boundaries you’ve set for your pet (like staying off certain furniture). I also love sending regular updates with photos or videos so you can feel connected and reassured while you’re away as well! Regardless of where I care for your pet, I always keep a close eye on their behavior and well-being. If I notice anything out of the ordinary, I’ll contact you right away. Your pet’s health, safety, and happiness are at the heart of everything I do.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of July 2026, there are 843 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Moline. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Moline. On Rover:
- 97% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
