“When we found ourselves in a pickle, we turned to Rover to find a trustworthy, dog educated person to watch our female GSD Stiorra. Not only were we searching last minute but we needed someone who was comfortable and had experience with females in heat. Ofcourse our girl would go into heat when we have nonrefundable tickets. Haha! I put our situation out to a couple different sitters on Rover. Kaylee was the first to respond and had such enthusiasm that I knew she was our person! About: I’ve had cats before I was even born! My parents rescued a cat a year before I was born and he was 20 years old before he passed away. He was treated like any other family member and he sparked my deep love for cats. So much so that I rescued a kitten from Texas when I was 10 years old and I learned even more about the care and dedication it takes to have a cat. Then 10 years later I officially adopted my own cat from TC Paws Rescue! He came to me with stomach issues that required him to be on medicated kibble and I fought to find the root cause of his issue to help his quality of life. I soon found out that he has a food intolerance to all seafood! After cutting out all the fish products from his diet, he hasn’t had any stomach issues since! And to me this is an example of the unconditional love that cats teach you. I could’ve kept my cat on that kibble diet and not question it but cats are family and like family you fight for them no matter what. Regardless of the hassle or battle it may cause because every animal should have the best chance at a wonderful life and we’re their advocates.

About: I've had pets since I was 14 yrs old. I have done the puppy stage to helping my senior dog at the end of her life. Your pet will be allowed on all the furniture. Cuddles are a must in my household. I am comfortable with giving medicine or any other treatment your pet may need while in my care. I work full time, but I am able to come home on my lunch break. I am avaible for long visits or short visits. I am very accomodating to your pets schedule and needs. I live in a townhouse. I do not have a fenced in yard, but they do have a small fenced in area for your dog to run around in. There is lots of room for long or short walks. I also live right next to The Ravines if you are comfortable with me taking your pet to the dog park.

About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! I’m currently looking into part time or less demanding full time jobs, and I’ll be actively looking until I land one, until then, I should be mostly free, and I’ll definitely keep my schedule updated as life moves forward and changes. As of now, I have appointments on Wednesday, I try to keep them consistent each week, but they’re subject to change due to scheduling. With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up but I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around many different dogs with all sorts of training and personalities. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.

I work part time with Paws With A Cause and have my own pup at home, so caring with and playing with dogs of all kinds is second nature to me. About: I am a dog lover who loves to meet more pets! I have 2 Westies and we spend hours outside each day in the yard or walking at a park. I am here to help whether you are gone for just a few hours or for weeks at a time. I have no problem allowing the dogs to run free in our house, or stop by to check on your pet in your house. About: I’ve been living with dogs since I can remember. I watch my friends and families dogs often. I worked at Chow Hound pet supplies and learned a lot about what special needs certain dogs require. I am working part time along with attending college. About: We have had pets for as long as I can remember. I pet sat as kid for neighbors frequently, riding my bike to play with dogs and cats, and feed chickens. My kids all also love animals and are eager to help your pet feel at home, away from home! We have a blue heeler/ border collie who roams in and out of the house, and can easily be kept apart from any dogs we are watching here. “When we found ourselves in a pickle, we turned to Rover to find a trustworthy, dog educated person to watch our female GSD Stiorra. Not only were we searching last minute but we needed someone who was comfortable and had experience with females in heat. Ofcourse our girl would go into heat when we have nonrefundable tickets. Haha! I put our situation out to a couple different sitters on Rover. Kaylee was the first to respond and had such enthusiasm that I knew she was our person! She assured me that she had experience with females in heat and with doggy diapers. We did a meet and greet and the rest is history! Stiorra had a blast. Kaylee treated her as if she was her own. “Kina watched our 2 corgis, Zelos and Fae while we had a weekend away. She had awesome communication with daily check ins and pictures so we could see how our furkids were doing. Every picture showed 2 very happy and relaxed pups, which made us feel so much better. When I went to pick them up they seemed so content and comfortable, which is a surprise as Zelos has separation anxiety in his senior years. It also helped that Kina has owned corgis in the past so she understood their little quirks. We will absolutely use her again! Zelos and Fae give 2 paws up as well and can't wait to visit again!”
