About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. About: I’ve had cats before I was even born! My parents rescued a cat a year before I was born and he was 20 years old before he passed away. He was treated like any other family member and he sparked my deep love for cats. So much so that I rescued a kitten from Texas when I was 10 years old and I learned even more about the care and dedication it takes to have a cat. Then 10 years later I officially adopted my own cat from TC Paws Rescue! He came to me with stomach issues that required him to be on medicated kibble and I fought to find the root cause of his issue to help his quality of life. I soon found out that he has a food intolerance to all seafood! After cutting out all the fish products from his diet, he hasn’t had any stomach issues since! And to me this is an example of the unconditional love that cats teach you. I could’ve kept my cat on that kibble diet and not question it but cats are family and like family you fight for them no matter what. Regardless of the hassle or battle it may cause because every animal should have the best chance at a wonderful life and we’re their advocates.

During that time, I’ve cared for her two cats – feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them plenty of love and playtime. Cats are easygoing, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. About: I’ve been helping my parents raise dogs since I was around 10 years old, our first dog being a collie we rescued as she wasn’t being treated well with her initial owners. We took her in and got her cleaned up, took care of the fleas she had, found her a good diet, and gave her lots of love and attention through it all. We took her on camping trips, out on the water to go fishing, out on walks and to get pup cups at the ice cream shop, her favorite place being my granny’s house. Alongside her, we raised three more dogs when they were puppies, each one two years apart. 2 of them are Australian shepherds, and one is a husky, all girls and grew to form their own little pack, respecting each other’s place and playing happily in a big fenced in back yard. We supported our collie till her last breath as she was elderly, and even as she was so old, she always had her usual, laid back and quirky personality. Even now, I continue to help my parents take care of our dogs, as they’re not just pets, they’re our family, our fur babies, even in they’re old stages of life, they’ll always be our little babies in our hearts. So rest assured, your fur baby will be 110% safe and cared for with me, maybe even a bit spoiled! LIFE UPDATE!!! I’ve been hired as a camp counselor at Camp Bow Wow, a doggy day care and overnight boarding facility! Right now I have training scheduled from June 30 to July 2 and July 6, all for days I’ll be unavailable from 11 am to 3 pm. Once I’m done with training, I should hopefully be getting a work schedule that I will use to update my scheduling here on Rover! So please forgive me for the next couple of weeks while I get everything settled! With specific instructions written on paper, I have no issues accommodating to your pet’s needs in your home! I’m respectful during visits in others homes, treating them as my own and keeping spaces clean and tidy. With proper cleaning tools, I can clean up accidents on hard surfaces or rugs, I may need a demonstration on how to use a specific cleaning machine or vacuum depending on how complicated it is. I’m not allergic to any animal, or any breed, so pet hair doesn’t bother me! If need be, I am able to administer oral medications with proper instruction and demonstration. On walks I make sure to keep dogs close to me and away from the road, I carry doggy bags, and on hot days, I’ll carry a little folded up bowl that I can poor water in, so your baby stays hydrated!

I usually work on Tuesday and Wednesday but can have availability on those days in the evening and most of the day on M/T/TH/F and on weekends. I am excited to get to know you and your fur babies! I am unable to care for your pets in my own home right now but am happy to drop in and let yours out to potty, feed them, play fetch or other outdoor games, go for a walk, or just sit and snuggle if that’s what they prefer 😊 I am also comfortable giving medications if need be with instruction and a demonstration from you. I previously had a dog with diabetes and am experienced in giving insulin injections.

About: I have 5 dogs of my own, ranging from a cattle dog to a pitbull.I have no problem taking care of any type of animal and I have experience in all fields of care, including bathing, walking, nail-trimming, and more. I’m free from 6am-11pm on weekdays! I do work full-time but my boss is lenient and he’d have no problem with me tending to your furry friends! I personally have 5 dogs in a non-fenced in yard but they are all very well trained. I am not currently working and I have a lot of free time, so most of the time I’m available. Can usually work around your schedule. I have two dogs in my home which are friendly. About: I am a dog lover who loves to meet more pets! I have 2 Westies and we spend hours outside each day in the yard or walking at a park. I am here to help whether you are gone for just a few hours or for weeks at a time. I have no problem allowing the dogs to run free in our house, or stop by to check on your pet in your house. As a pet lover, I will care for your pet as I do mine, and they are spoiled! I am home almost all the time. I wander around our 3 acres and love to garden. I take my dogs for a walk almost daily. I am with the dogs almost all the time. If I have to go run an errand, I can crate them. They are allowed on the furniture with me.
About: I’ve had all sorts of pets growing up but I have the most experience with dogs and cats. I’ve been around many different dogs with all sorts of training and personalities. I have two dogs that we got when they were puppies and I helped train them. I taught them all sorts of things like the basics but also secret hand shakes and hand signals. I currently work full time and my hours vary. Sometimes I am available any time after 3 pm or any time before 12 am. But my schedule is completely free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I care for pets by sticking to their feeding schedule, spread out times of play/interaction, walks, grooming, bathing, and light training. I do think it’s very important to make sure dogs are socialized with people and other dogs if able to. And for cats i know it is especially important to have activities for them or interactive play time to decrease the chance of boredom.
About: We have had pets for as long as I can remember. I pet sat as kid for neighbors frequently, riding my bike to play with dogs and cats, and feed chickens. My kids all also love animals and are eager to help your pet feel at home, away from home! We have a blue heeler/ border collie who roams in and out of the house, and can easily be kept apart from any dogs we are watching here. About: I grew up around dogs and now have two cats! My love for animals began when I was three years old and my mom brought home our first family dog, Blossom. Over the past twenty years, we have been lucky to know and love seven dogs and know how to provide proper care. I am no stranger to giving pets medicine, senior care, or puppy care. About: I have been a dog owner since I was a little girl with two little miniature poodles. Have had a love for animals and caring for them ever since. I have always wanted to work with animals but have not had the money for schooling. Attended a Vet Tech. class at the Allegan Tech. center for 2 years and absolutely enjoyed every minute of working with all types of animals including helping with doggie daycare, walking, bathing, and just plain having fun with them. I love to help out family and friends in caring for their loved animals while they are away. :) We have a house with a fenced in yard for room to safely run around. Our little dog named Rupert is older but just minds his own business lol. We recently have lost a German short haired pointer named Arthur at a young age of 5. We are still heart broken. While waiting to find another new dog to love as our own we would be happy to love and care for your dog!
