About: I have taken care of puppies and senior dogs and all different kinds of breeds! I love all dogs and work with kindness and patience! In the summers I'm pretty free so it just comes down to my schedule with other sitting commitments! I'm pretty flexible so whatever the animals need I try to do! I go by the book! Whatever the pet-parents do and require for their animals is what I do! I am patient and kind and respectful!
“Maggie took great care of my cats and was so flexible when my flight was canceled. Will definitely be booking her in the future! Maggie- the cats love the toys! They’re batting them all over the house”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since birth. I started taking more responsibility for them around the age of 10. The moment I graduated college, I got my own rescue doggo. Maisie is now 10 and likes to sleep and cuddle, so I’m looking to add some energetic pups to my walking route. I’m a nurse and have random time off during the week. My schedule is far from consistent but I hope that helps me stand out as someone to just drop in periodically. I’m a pet parent myself so I know how anxious people can get when you’re away from your babies. And I know how anxious your pets can get too! I’ll follow any sort of instruction you leave!
“Faith took great care of our kitties while we were on vacation and even made friends with our super-skittish one. It was hard to leave them for so long, but she communicated daily and included cute snaps of our babies. We will definitely be relying on her in the future!”

“Florence is amazing with my pups! She learns their behaviors and then adjusts her visits based off my dogs’ needs. She is great at communicating too. She gives a descriptive note of how the pups did every time she visits, giving me peace of mind. My pups love her and know they’re in caring hands with her there.”

“Denise was super patient with lemon. She also had to clean up a mess but was very gracious about it. Shes very flexible and accommodating. We look forward to continue having her drop in while we are at work.”

“Sarah was a fantastic pet sitter for our cat! She communicated well and sent pictures and a message every day we were gone on vacation. She was very responsive to text messages. Our shy cat even came out of hiding most days she came over to take care of her. I highly recommend booking Sarah for your pet care.”

“Annette was great! She watched May for three weeks while I was on a business trip. She was very responsive and always sent lots of update photos. I highly recommend her and would definitely use her again.”

“Kelsey was amazing! My dog had a wonderful time with her and her kids. I highly recommend her! Being far from my dog was much easier knowing he was in Kelsey’s care.”

“Spencer and Karli did a wonderful job of caring for our senior pups. They communicated often and put us at ease during our time away. We highly recommend them!”

“Andrea was great with our Arlo. They became fast friends! I could tell in the video she sent, Arlo will definitely enjoy having her around. Thankful for the video and pictures, knowing Arlo was having a good time. It makes not being home, a little more bearable during the day, that I know Arlo is taken care of.”

“Alicia and her daughter were INCREDIBLE pet sitters. They were timely, communicative, gave awesome feedback, and even did an extra stop in when one of our cats potentially consumed something they shouldn’t have. Would HIGHLY recommend her to any pet parent looking for someone to take care of their babies!”

“Kayla took such great care of our girls! It brought us such peace of mind to see pictures and videos of our cats while we were away. She even convinced our shy, skittish cat to roll over for belly rubs!”

“Had Megan for a repeat service. She does an incredible job with a grumpy, antisocial cat. Megan is very responsive to communication and asks questions if necessary. Will be using her again for our next get away.”

“Brooke was fantastic checking in on our old lady dog while we were gone. She even spent extra time outside with her when she saw how much she enjoyed just being outside. Highly recommend Brooke if you’re looking for excellent pet care.”

“Much confidence going into the visit, with a meet and greet prior to. We really appreciated Jaclyn’s message detailing how the kitties were doing and about how she spent time playing with them. The pictures were very nice too :) We felt very confident that great care was provided for our kitties and will be using her again.”

About: I've been a part of a foster family for dogs of all ages since 2010 and will continue to do so even longer. The puppy litters I watched over the years have consisted of 4 puppies or less. The oldest "puppies" I've fostered were just about 6 months old but they are usually around 4 to 8 weeks. The oldest dogs I've watched were two small dogs: one was 16 years old and the other was 14 years old. Even before fostering, I watched and walked my neighbor's two dogs during all seasons. If she had not moved away, I would still be walking and caring for them now. I've always had a passion for dogs and my current dog, Ruby, is my second .

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Georgetown
I liked Florence as soon as she walked in the door and immediately focused on our cats. She wasn't fazed by our somewhat high maintenance situation and took everything in stride. Florence sent very detailed visit reports, including that she had given medication to a couple of our cats, and lots of pictures so we knew everyone was doing okay. Our cats were in good spirits when we returned and our house was just as we left it. Would definitely hire Florence again and highly recommend her services.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Georgetown. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
